User:StonyBrook
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hello and welcome to my user page. The camelCase-stylized username that you see is a nod to Stony Brook, New York, a hamlet on Long Island near to the place in which I was born and raised. I am not, however, affiliated in any way with the university located there.

I started out here with an interest in writing about American gangs. From there, it seems that I have branched out to other 'G's—gaons, gadols, gedolas, goners, goons, guitarists, gun-toters and gurus. With the help of Valereee, I have identified a new species of WikiFauna in the wild—the WikiButterfly.
I have been known to be active in category creation, and have had a modest participation in DYK space. I tend to show up at deletion discussions that provide a chance for me to skew keep, especially where the article stands a better chance after being improved. Even if it only results in a !vote to redirect, I prefer that option over deletion because at least in that case the article history will have been preserved. That being said, I am not averse to taking out the garbage when I do come across it.

| Originally, I was not the one who added to the towns. I have just recently. In any event thank you for your wisdom. Do you do Wikipedia write ups? I was recently signed to a national TV acting contract and am looking for a Wiki writer. Any advice? Regards William Caesar Augustoni (talk) 03:51, 28 October 2019 (UTC) |

| Thank you for your diligent work towards incorporating sources for Adam the Woo and effectively defending his notability during a contentious AfD with widespread canvassing in favor of both keep and deletion. Your work is greatly appreciated! MVP of the discussion. DrewieStewie (talk) 19:23, 31 December 2025 (UTC) |
