Hi everyone. I am a mathematician, editing Wikipedia for about 20 years. Despite decades of experience, I acknowledge that I am sometimes "not good at Wikipedia", particularly the technical mechanics of mature Wikipedia. I work in geometric analysis and hyperbolic partial differential equations, and especially their interactions with harmonic analysis and representation theory. Many years ago, I was trained in algebraic geometry. I know a lot about group theory and quadratic forms. My dissertation was in geometric optics. My Erdős number is three. I was on an approximately seven year hiatus from editing due to professional restrictions on publishing, but am now retired (at least temporarily), and so back to the project.
