Stellar astronomy

The study of the star and what they do, or leave behind… and stuff like that. What is a star? Look up and burn your eyes out, that’s a star, the big glowing ball of plasma. What a plasma? It’s what you get when you turn the shower temperature by a single degree. It’s violently tears up the atoms of their electrons leaving them bare for all to see. :)

Stellar remnants

There are two main ways a star dies and three main results of that. The first and calmest is the ones where Stars like the Sun (or just anything over than a A-class star) will run out of fuel and Star dying by turning deep red and expanding to several AU in radius. Then they fart out their shells leaving behind their collapsed core, a white dwarf! Next two form when anything A-type of bigger runs out of fuel. They collapse and violently explodes leaving behind a neutron star in most cases and black holes in rare cases. They are scarwy.

Exoplanets

So when a star forms they can come with little accessories to spice up their systems. These are planets and in cases of planets outside of the Sol System, exoplanets. Now most violently crash into each other, kick each other out of their systems to be rouge planets, get eaten by their star at some point (cough cough dying stars), violently stripped of their atmospheres, melted into balls of lava, have a misfortune of hosting a bunch of hairless bipedal apes actively trying to make the conditions of the only planet in the universe they know to have life worse, blasted with radiation, torn apart by gravitational pulls, freeze over in a ice hell, bombarded by countless impacts, and so much more. Is there no planet protection services in space?

Nebular astronomy

Big gas clouds in space. They can range in appearance from looking like a masterful artiste painstakingly spent years of his life to create, accounting for each and every dot and line of color, using advance mathematics, no! theorizing and proving math and science beyond what is known so far by top expert minds just to figure out if three 4 millimeter lines of dark-pickle boot color blue would fit in with the tickle-me pink splotch over here. Then there’s those that look that someone took a piece of shit, smeared it all over the walls, had 100 toddlers make “art” out of it and then threw in some pretty looking sprinkles. The duality of gas I guess. Oh and then there’s ones that are just black voids, no color except for the edges being brown.

Dark nebula

Dark nebula are just black spots in the cosmos that have some brown in it. They are interesting in what they do (the stars and the bees) but not interesting to look at. Unless you have a cool shape like Horsehead.

Supernova or supernovae remnants

This is what is left behind after the supernova explosion. A chaotic mess of ionized gas that is launched into interstellar space. They are vital cuz’ they have a lot of that juicy heavy elements that make life possible. Though the creation of these nebula are VERY violent so take a step of two back.

Galactic Astronomy

What happens when a small group of a couple million stars decide to come together? That’s called a galaxy and the bigger ones contains billions of stars while the biggest have hundreds of billions to trillions. They can be frisbee shaped, some frisbees can have spirals in them where all the young stars hand around. Then there’s are the egg-heads, yellow elliptical or circular globs of stars. Then there’s the ones someone broke, the irregulars. The worst galaxy you can be are the dwarf irregulars. Being big and irregular is fine though. Galaxies are always seemly at war with each other (I ship the Milky Way and Andromeda, they are lovers) with every other galaxy being stripped of gas, torn apart, ejected into the void of space, consumed, eradicated, tugged on by everyone else and etc.

Spiral galaxies/disk galaxies

These are the galaxies that have been flattened. Some have fancy little spiral patterns (some take this to the grand extreme) while others are featureless disks. Personally these are my favorite, so many variation, activity and stuff going on in the spiral disks.

Elliptical galaxies “the egg-heads”

Often the largest and oldest galaxies, these are just uniform yellow colored galaxies that look like an egg. They range from circle shaped to football/egg shape. While they aren’t intestine, they are old and dying galaxies. Still cool though, shoutout to IC 1101, may not be the biggest anymore but you are still big.

Amblysemius	HoW MUcH cAn A FiSH CaUZ U PAin!?!?! You say, JuSt TWo SpEiCiEs you say. Ok so like forever ago Agassiz creates the genus and within it is the newly described species Amblysemius gracilis. WRONG! He does NOT provide a description, just a name! So it’s at best a nomen nudum and not valid! But ah-ha there is a specimen labled as the species! But agian there is no information on it so yeah it’s a mess! The victor describes Amblysemius bellicianus which is accompanied by a proper description! But guess what we are not done here, oh no no no one guy thinks that all this is it a desperate genus but part of the genus Caturus which is fine I guess. but guess what… the specimen he was using to validate his idea, WAS THE WRONG SPECIMEN. The specimen he was using was MHNL 20015172 and not MHNL 20015164!!! AHHHH I HATE THIS FISH!!!	MOST HATED THIBG REWARD

Sparalepis	Did you know that this lil guy served as under the Achaemenid empire as a Sparabara, hence its name. She rose to be the best under Darius the Great being involved in Egypt, consuming the India valley and was even involved in the surrounding of Babylon. She would die due to god deciding to ban her from the game, it’s a shame. So good that you are called a cheater and banned. Zealandorhynchus	A extinct billfish. Would go around giving poor fishes bills (not the money kind but physical, lifeless replicas of people named bill like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Billie Eilish, Bill Cosbey, etc. Mabey that’s way it went extinct, no one wants a hundred bills.

Amphibians

The stuff that left the water but didn’t want to commit to it like the reptiles and the mammal (and their weird familial). Wet skin that makes them vulnerable to literally any amount of toxins and a reliant on the water, they are a weird group. There are the ones with the leg fetish (and subgroups which are weirder still like the one that breaks its bones) which gave it the superpower of jumping, the cute one which everyone loves and the ones that try being a snake but wet look sadder than a worm. Like I said, a weird group.

You got the bears, big fluffs that feed on everything. You got trash, they would eat it. A big moose, they would eat it. Arthropoda

They are extremely diverse, like out of the two million and growing species discovered, half of them are arthropods! Like mammals have a good 7000 species, fish have about 33,000 species, birds have an amazing 10,000 and lizards including snakes also have a good 10,000 species.

Mollusca

Arthropods have their shells but mollusks take that and said more. We have the clams, the chitons, the nattaloids, the snails and some extra 100,000 species. But like always in biology, there are the exceptions (there always exceptions). First we got snail without the shells, slugs!!!! Then we have the squids (they are scary man) and octopuses (for some reason some people thought they were aliens if I remember correctly?????). Mabey Kimberella is a mollusk…

Inside the Arthropod group is another stupidly large group, actually there are several but this one are the bug stuff. Beetles (400,000 species and growing is insane), butterflies (sooo pretty 😍), flies (there was one and old lady…), ants (for the queen!!), bees (buzz buzz), hornets/wasps (spawn of satan, these little fuckers will suffer…) and so so much more.

Bacteria

They just lil things. Very funny shaped from rods to cones to balls to spaghetti noodles. They be good and they be bad. I heard that there are some several million to trillions of bacterial species in Earths history (OMG that is a lot, more bacteria species than there are stars in our galaxy). They are also EVERYWHERE, like literally everywhere from the deepest oceans, miles in the Earth, high in the atmosphere, in your body, on your body, on your femboy pillow, if your water bottle, in the clouds, in the god damn walls and everywhere else I did not mention (which is non because I mentioned every point in the universe, don’t ask).

Plants

The plants, green* (those fuxkibg asterisk agian I swear) things that eat the Sun, ✨✨TASTE THE SUN✨✨. They be everywhere but not as everywhere as the bacteria fellas. They can be small like my mortal enemies Algae or tall like those redwoods in the “Kingdom of Redwoods”. It was a shame what happened to them, a global dominion until them flowers did a coup (Cretaceous Terrestrial Revolution). Don’t get me wrong I love the flowers but that was just plain dirty.
