Nothing Cycles designs and manufactures electric bicycles. The first model, the 'Super 73', was designed and built by John Kim in April 2016. He was inspired by the minibikes he grew up with as a child in the 1970s. A Kickstarter campaign was launched 27 May, 2016 and ended 28 Jun, 2016 with $441,461 pledged from 293 backers.[1] Production facilities are in Tustin, California.

History

Nothing Cycles was founded in 2011 as a manufacturer of industrial carts and scooters. In May 2016, Nothing Cycles launched the Super 73 electric motorbike, which quickly grew into the most popular e-bike on the Internet.

Website was launched July 06, 2016 with sales open for pre-ordering,

Delivery of first bikes starting in early December 2016. December through Spring 2017 bulk of Super 73 are delivered to US customers.

January 2017, LeGrand Crewse joins Lithium Cycles as a partner. Due to demand, 2017 Lithium Cycles invests in European compliant certification for two models in the S-Series in order to sell in more territories.
