Active page projects

Tyneside Cunarders

RMS Ultonia

A lot of work to do, here.

RMS Ivernia (1899)

I researched the RMS Ivernia for a personal project, and any findings for this vessel, as well as primary sources, were placed on Wikipedia. This is to leave a permanent, open record of my findings, and to act as a single place for me to access these details while I carried out my project.

I am not affliated with any institutions, and have no personal connection to the vessel.

I concluded the bulk of my edits to Ivernia in November 2024, successfully bringing the page from 'Stub' class to 'B' class standard.

RMS Carpathia

Going to leave this one until last as it's likely to draw the most opposition to an overhaul and the precedent set on the quieter pages will add weight to improving consistency and style.

RMS Franconia (1910)

Adding remainder of construction details.

RMS Laconia (1911)

Starting with an overhaul of the citations.

RMS Mauretania (1906)

Lots of details of the design and construction of Mauretania from Engineering to add, with diagrams where applicable.

Overhauled citations August 2025.

Other Maritime Pages

Load line (watercraft)

After purchasing some antiquarian books on shipbuilding during my research for Ivernia I identified some improvements for the history of the Plimsoll Line on merchant shipping of the era, including a relatively early primary source image.

Swan Hunter

Adding the details of the pre-war history of the business, especially in relation to ocean liners.
