As General Manager Knowledge Services at the Australian Paralympic Committee, I was responsible for - among other things - establishing a project to collect, manage and preserve the history of the Paralympic movement in Australia. The Australian Paralympic history project has a range of elements and seeks to create partnerships with organisations and individuals who can assist us to meet our goals and to tell the story of the Paralympic movement in Australia within the wider sporting, disability and medical/rehabilitation contexts. I left the APC in May 2015 and have continued to play a role as the facilitator of the Australian Paralympic history project since that time.

Since 2022 I have been the president of the Lilydale District Progress Association in Lilydale, Tasmania, Australia. My interest now includes information about the Lilydale district and its history. I have been involved in creating the Lilydale Tasmania website and am one of the site's administrators. One of the site's functions is to (eventually) contain digital versions of every issue of the Lilydale Progressive (our local community newspaper) since the first issue in October 1980.
