I am retired now, but formerly I worked in sales, marketing and corporate planning for three different types (transportation, manufacturing, and pharmaceutical) of business corporations.

Since retirement twelve years ago, I have spent my spare time studying humanities. My current area of interest is the history of conflict. I am attempting to build a chronological database of warfare. In building my database, I have used Wikipedia to a great extent as the articles that I find on warfare and the associated battles are quite comprehensive.

When I find errors and inconsistencies in Wikipedia, however, I want to correct the facts for posterity. So with regard to editing Wikipedia, I try to 1) Make corrections supported with appropriate references; 2) Rewrite paragraphs / articles that are inaccurate / unclear / redundant / poorly organized; and 3) Reformat and reorganize the notes, in-line citations, and references.
