Background

I am studying for a PhD in chemistry, the main aim of my work being to produce surface-bound functionalised polymers for attachment of transition metal catalysts.
I am interested in scientific skepticism, etymology and grammar, cryptic-crosswords, satirical comedy, and lots of types of music.
I also enjoy placing hyphens in documents.
