Kirkification ( US: /kɜːrkɪ.fɪˈkeɪʃən/ ⓘ) is the process in which one uses artificial intelligence to modify a portrait or facial features of someone to mimic the looks of American political activist Charlie Kirk. It is a type of face-swapping, and is also known as Kirkslop.

Charlie Kirk was an American political activist, and the founder of Turning Point USA. On September 10, 2025, while on stage at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, Kirk was assassinated by 22-year-old Tyler James Robinson. A memorial service followed on September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Following his death, several AI-generated posts on social media surged.[1]

Early usage
According to Know Your Meme, the earliest usage of kirkification was on September 23, 2025, 2 weeks after Kirk's death, when a user on X used Kirk's face to face swap American streamer iShowSpeed. As a result, the image went on to become viral in October.[2] With multiple kirkified images being used, some with the song We Are Charlie Kirk.[3][4][5]
