Draft:Abraham and the Three Angels (Mommers)

The references provided for Draft:Abraham and the Three Angels (Mommers) were described particularly obscurely (it seemed to me); so I thought that describing them more informatively and helpfully would be an interesting challenge for an hour or two.

"An hour or two" turned out to have been an underestimate. And another, bigger problem has become more obvious to me: the lack of evidence of "notability". It's not clear that any of the cited sources does more than mention this painting (if it even mentions it).

The exhibition From Odesa to Berlin is mentioned, but the book that accompanied it -- Hirschfelder, Dagmar; Lata, Sabine, eds. (2025). From Odesa to Berlin: European Painting from the 16th to the 19th Century. Munich: Hirmer. ISBN 978-3-7774-4514-4. -- is not. (And neither is any book, or even any paper, devoted to Mommers.) When you have time, please look for more commentary on this painting. -- Hoary (talk) 11:25, 7 May 2026 (UTC)

Hello?

Hello Altovolcano. I hope that you can find the time to return to en:Wikipedia and do some editing. You have drafts that don't yet qualify as articles but are very promising; if you can get hold of the book From Odesa to Berlin (which I have never seen), I don't suppose it would take you long to make significant improvements to these drafts. -- Hoary (talk) 11:01, 15 May 2026 (UTC)
