Baseball in China
Hello Bailmoney27, I hope you're doing well! This message serves two purposes, with the main one to thank you for all the work you put into making the article for Chinese Professional Baseball! It was a very nice read, well cited, and extra cool that it was made with an accompanying season article (which I happily approved as part of the NPR process 😀). One thing that caught my attention though was the final sentence in the lead which stated the CPB was replacing the CNBL. I couldn't find a citation for this on the page, and after some digging, I came across a citation I've since added to the article which confirms the CPB actually is co-existing with the CBL (the rebranded CNBL) as the main professional league in China. I just wanted to let you know of this change personally as while its not long, it could be significant, and I wanted to tell you where I was coming from when making it. Have a wonderful rest of your day and God bless. Johnson524 08:21, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- Hey! Hope you're well also. The CPB/CBL stuff recently came on my radar too as I saw the CBL continued play up until last season but couldn't find anything to the effect of the two existing simultaneously; thanks for finding that reference. Good fuel to start fixing the CBL and CNBL articles as well should more info come out on a CBL season this year. Much appreciated! Bailmoney27 talk 13:47, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
