RINT icons in Route templates
Hi there. Reaching out after this edit. My practice, and practice I have observed, is that {{rint}} in the Route templates is only used at stations where a connection occurs, not where that service splits off from the corridor. I haven't reverted your change to {{GO Transit Lakeshore East}}, because to make it consistent will take additional edits, and I wanted to have a discussion with you first. Let me know your thoughts. Cheers. --Natural RX 19:45, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
- Personally, I find the icons to be helpful for showing branches, especially when there is not enough room for text (such as the first row of the Lakeshore East line in question). I also see rint icons used in other templates such as Template:6 (New York City Subway service) for the 4 and 5 trains. I don't see any possible issue with including icons assuming there is no ambiguity of a connection. Thanks, –BLAixx 23:51, 21 December 2017 (UTC)
Help with maps
Thanks for the map update at Ontario Hockey League. Would you be able to fix up the map at the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League? It's way too big. Cheers ! Flibirigit (talk) 22:20, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- I can give it a try, the OHL one was my first map! BLAixx 22:57, 21 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for adding it :-) Flibirigit (talk) 00:48, 22 January 2018 (UTC)
Much improved at the QMJHL article. Cheers! Flibirigit (talk) 01:12, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, I agree! BLAIXX 01:18, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
Do you think it would be worthwhile making one big map for the Canadian Hockey League? If we tried it, only put three colours, one for each league. Or, we could just put three small maps on the page? Flibirigit (talk) 01:34, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- I think one large map could work, although it would have to be just the markers without labels (city names) because of how close together they'd be. Perhaps the markers could be clickable? BLAIXX 02:43, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
- That's a good idea. Try to use the league colours for the icons. WHL=red, OHL, darker blue, QMJHL, lighter blue. Flibirigit (talk) 02:47, 27 January 2018 (UTC)
I thought that @MB: might be able to assist. He or she has been around a long time, and worked with maps! Flibirigit (talk) 05:25, 27 January 2018 (UTC)

FYI station renaming
As as local editor, you may have an interest in Talk:Toronto Pearson Viscount Station#Requested move 6 February 2018. So far the discussion seems to be by people who do not regularly take an interest in Toronto stations. Secondarywaltz (talk) 17:21, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
L1O TFC 3 Playoffs
Do you have a source on them not entering the playoffs? I know that they're not eligible for the Voyageurs Cup but this is the first I've heard about them not entering the L1O playoffs. -Gopherbashi (talk) 02:02, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I just added the reference to the article, thanks! From the source: "A TFC official at the Saturday game agreed they can keep their commitment to try to win that before their USSDA season starts. They will NOT be playing in the L1O second season—top eight playdowns for the championship". BLAIXX 18:58, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Forge FC colours
I noticed that you edited the Forge FC article and template to use official colours, but I inspected the colours on the emblem inspiration site, and the exact hex codes used are #53565a for grey and #dc4405 for the orange. Is there a source you used for the official colours? I don't want to revert back in case there was a better source you had used. Thanks UmpireRay (talk) 02:04, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
- That's very interesting. I got the colours from the media and branding guidelines document located here. I got to that page from the forgefc.canpl website but I can't find it there anymore. BLAIXX 02:37, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alberta Major Soccer League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Edmonton Drillers (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

MOS:BODY
You started in a very convenient place there. The full sentence there reads, "Very short or very long sections and subsections in an article look cluttered and inhibit the flow of the prose." Sections that are two or three paragraphs long are very short. Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:35, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Very convenient indeed, thank you! Sections that are nine or ten paragraphs long are very long which is which is why I think subsections are a good idea. BLAIXX 19:57, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
Oakville Blue Devil Editing Assistance.
Hey there Blaixx,
I'm trying to edit the Oakville Blue Devils page to have it similar to how a larger teams infobox would be and to make the information a bit more clear I was hoping to individually list their League 1 Ontario season, League 1 Ontario Cup season, and Canadian Championship season and where they placed for each spaced separately much like when you look at Manchester United's page for instance and see FA Cup, EPL, etc, etc.
I saw your name on the edit list a few times and thought I'd ask someone who knows what their doing for a bit of help as the last few times I've attempted it (visual and code editing) I mess it up a bit and it doesn't show and was even marked for possible vandalism! Which isn't my intention, this may not be the proper way to ask for assistance as I'm still considered a novice in editing when it comes to Wikipedia but would love to learn, is there somewhere you can direct me to learn a bit more and/or how to update those individual leagues for OBD — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doucet3 (talk • contribs) 17:31, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Hello @Doucet3: I think I see what you were going for but that might not be completely possible. The infoboxes on pages have pre-determined headings depending on what template was used. Manchester United F.C. and Oakville Blue Devils FC use Template:Infobox football club which only has one line for last season's result. 2018–19 Manchester United F.C. season, for example, uses Template:Infobox football club season which has parameters for all of the various cups (FA, EPL, etc). The reason that there is no article for 2018 Oakville Blue Devils FC season is because it would lack notability, and would be very short.
- I hope that makes sense, let me know if I need to clarify. And don't worry about messing up a few times, it was clearly not vandalism in my opinion. If you want to experiment more, I recommend you copy and paste the infobox into your sandbox as to not disrupt the article.
- Let me know if you have any other questions! BLAIXX 18:00, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Ahhh okay that makes a bit more sense, I've been editing for a while (mostly minor things created small pages at best) and normally never have an issue when doing the type of edits I was today. I didn't know there were different predetermined infoboxes for football club's I always just thought you could add on as you go. So for instances, like this one, how would I get a new in without making a mess of things? would I have to relist everything or is there a way to change the format and just continue adding. I agree the page (season by season) would be too small and I think Division III of Canadian Football isn't ready for that type of detail yet! Will for sure use Sandbox more often, I just simpply copy/paste when I want to test on and edit away correct?
- One side thought is I see that the L1O has regular season and Cup results but how would we add the Canadian Champ? I think given the Cup Competition is expanding I think showing the L1O and PLSQ teams who compete would be great info to help keep track of who's been in the comp and so on... aside from the CanChamp main page obviously. Thanks again for the guidance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doucet3 (talk • contribs) 18:58, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Unfortunately it's not very easy to modify the template to allow for the type of parameters you are proposing. I think it would be best to have just the season placement and playoff finish in that spot. It might be a good idea to create a table of seasons for OBD that has columns for Season, Playoffs, Cup, and Canadian Champs like the one Ottawa Fury has. And yes, for the sandbox just grab the whole infobox, paste and edit! BLAIXX 18:18, 10 September 2018 (UTC)
Australian Women's team
Take a look at the logo on the left chest of the players at and compare it to the logo on the No. 8 player in File:Seleções feminina do Canadá e Austrália enfrentam-se em SP (28643707552).jpg. This is the Australian team, not the Brazilian team. Walter Görlitz (talk) 22:25, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- My mistake, thanks for the fix. BLAIXX 23:25, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
