Voiced nasal glottal approximant moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Voiced nasal glottal approximant. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Significa liberdade (she/her) (talk) 05:36, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Voiced linguolabial lateral fricative

A tag has been placed on Voiced linguolabial lateral fricative requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect from the article namespace to a different namespace except the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — ERcheck (talk) 20:26, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Didn't I already nominate it myself though? BodhiHarp 20:29, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
retroflex trill
i asked the icpla, and they thought the arrow was a good idea -- but for all sequential sounds, including affricates, leaving the IPA slur only for simultaneous sounds like double articulation. so i think unless we have attestation, we should stick to standard IPA. [also, it would be better to have the arrow above, which isn't supported by fonts yet.] — kwami (talk) 19:42, 15 September 2025 (UTC)

- @BodhiHarp please make a habit of explaining your changes in edit summaries. Nearly all of your user 2000+ contributions do not have one, and many times they end up being reverted or in an edit war dispute. In addition, your unreversions often add no additional information or sourcing, override the talk page discussions disputing the content you are adding, and lack any edit summary explanation as to why the information should be put back. oklopfer (💬) 19:54, 22 September 2025 (UTC)

Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to Tap and flap consonants have been removed because the citation you added was to another Wikipedia article or an external wiki. As discussed at our policies on circular sourcing and self-published sources, Wikipedia and other wikis should not be used in citations because they are not considered reliable sources. You are welcome to re-add the information using a better reference, perhaps from the article you originally cited. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. – PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 00:48, 20 September 2025 (UTC)
Nominating redirects for deletion
Hi BodhiHarp I came across Voiceless post-palatal nasal and noticed you had added a tag that the redirect might be deleted. Thank you for identifying that page, however the process at Wikipedia to delete redirects is at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion. You can list a redirect there using the instructions at WP:RFDHOWTO or by adding Twinkle to you gadgets and nominating that way. Let me know if you have any trouble nominating that redirect. I have undone your edit in the interim. All the best! Casablanca 🪨(T) 00:55, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
- Should I make a new entry at WP:RFD? BodhiHarp 04:09, 28 September 2025 (UTC)
- If you want to discuss it at RfD you can either install the twinkle gadget and use that or follow the three step process of:
{{susbt:rfd|content=}}}}on the redirect,{{subst:Rfd2|redirect=|target=|text=}} ~~~~at the daily RfD log, and{{subst:Rfd notice|RedirectName}} ~~~~. Casablanca 🪨(T) 14:01, 28 September 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of AncientSans
Hello BodhiHarp,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged AncientSans for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
