Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Heartache Tonight, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Binksternet (talk) 22:33, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at White Oak, Texas, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and to see how to add references to an article. Thank you. - FlightTime (open channel) 22:42, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- The original contributor did not provide a reliable source for their addition. The capital letters and clear statements at the end also indicate it’s most likely vandalism. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 01:57, 7 May 2025 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 7
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Don't Fence Me In (Decca album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Western music. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Vince Gill
If a singer is widely known in more than one genre, then genre is not usually indicated in the lead. Vince Gill is currently a touring member of Eagles and former member of Pure Prairie League, both of whom are genres other than country. Are You Lonesome Tonight and genre?
I noticed that you keep changing the genre for Are You Lonesome Tonight. I'm not denying or stopping that it could be classified as country, which is why I'm not removing the country label. However, you keep removing the pop label when the song is clearly a pop song. The source that I have called the song a pop song. The song was a massive hit on the pop singles chart. However, you keep denying it and removing the pop label. The pop label should be there. There was a folk label as well but I'm not bringing the folk label back. Pop on the other hand should be there. There are sources that clearly calls the song a pop song. The song was recorded by pop singers, it started out as a pop song written by songwriters who wrote pop songs. The pop label should be there. The country label should also be there. Therefore, both genres could be there. Bryan1518 (talk) 20:58, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- According to Wikipedia’s source guidelines, your source doesn’t count towards that genre, if you get what I’m saying. And yeah, it was a pop song before Elvis had done it and it was a all-chart hit (sometimes called popular or pop charts), but again, those don’t make it a pop song under genre guidelines. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 23:15, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
How come according to you, my source doesn't count toward the genre? Why? The source clearly calls the song a pop song. It should be labelled as pop as well. I don't understand why you keep removing the pop label? It's literally a pop hit. How come the song is not pop? At this point, I feel like your just putting your own bias opinion towards the song genre label. I'm not removing the country label but you are definitely removing the pop label. What makes the song not pop according to you? For me, the song started out as a pop song, with pop singers recording it. The songwriters were most likely pop songwriters. Bryan1518 (talk) 01:18, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- It’s not according to me. Read the guidelines for adding genres. Im not saying it’s not pop, im saying there is no reliable source for it. You are, again, going off your own opinions and biases. Please read the Wikipedia on genre warring because you are violating rules. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 02:26, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
OK, so since there are no reliable source for it according to you, it just stays as a country song, despite the fact that the songwriters were pop songwriters and the song has been recorded by alot of pop singers. Plus, the song was a huge hit on the pop singles chart. Saying that the song cannot be pop is just off. Also, how am I going by my own opinion and biases when I clearly pointed towards the source? It didn't came from my own opinion, I literally went to what the source said but according to you, the song cannot be pop. Bryan1518 (talk) 03:33, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
- What do you not understand? IT IS NOT A RELIABLE SOURCE. I don’t know how I could make myself more clear. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 04:15, 20 January 2026 (UTC)

Angels Among Us
You keep removing the genre Christmas music from Angels Among Us, even though it was listed as a Christmas song on its Wikipedia page. You do realize that reverting a reverted edit without even discussing anything is the start of an edit war, right? ~2026-30137-97 (talk) 14:24, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- It’s only listed as a Christmas single, not a Christmas song. A Christmas single is a song released near Christmastime, similar to a summer song. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 15:57, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- The song was released during Christmastime.~2026-30137-97 (talk) 16:11, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
- That doesn’t make a song a Christmas song. Country&Rockabilly54 (talk) 17:02, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
