Speedy deletion nomination of List of eponymous albums

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on List of eponymous albums requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of eponymous albums (2nd nomination). When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. DYK for Stop Killing Games
On 3 July 2025, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Stop Killing Games, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the YouTuber behind Stop Killing Games compared video-game publishers shutting down online-only games to silent-era film studios "burning their own films ... to recover the silver content"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Stop Killing Games. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Stop Killing Games), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

- @Dabmasterars Thank you so much for your work on the article, and for helping to get it on the front page! It was a hugely pleasant surprise to see it in DYK. Apfelmaische (talk) 21:18, 3 July 2025 (UTC)
- My pleasure, I'm just doing what I can to spread awareness of the initiative. I was pleasantly surprised receiving the DYK notification, but also kind of proud, thinking about the potential effects of me creating the article. Dabmasterars (talk/contribs) 21:27, 3 July 2025 (UTC)

I was about to add that information but oh well...
When I saw the information about 1 million signatures, I thought that this addition is not really sufficient as there might be invalid signatures which will be debunked at the end of the signing time.
Actually thank you for adding the information about possible invalid signs, was about to mention it in the article's talk page.

Hi Dabmasterars. Thank you for your work on Hell Pie. Another editor, Vrxces, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
Good work on drafting this mate. The reception section is a bit bare-bones and borderline fine for notability, but seeing the calibre of the other sources cited in Metacritic understand why you went with the ones you have. Wonder if the aggregators missed any RS? Apparently there's a Prima Games and Play UK Magazine review out there somewhere.

Rater
Hiya, I noticed that you don't rate your articles on the content assessment scale. So I want you to be aware about User:Evad37/rater. It helps with assess pages.
Hope this helps! 1timeuse75 (talk) 19:28, 31 December 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for introducing the tool, I didn't know about it. I try to not rate my own articles due to not understanding the rating system's specifics plus a lot of things that may affect the rating. The automatic system for ratings at Special:NewPagesFeed seems to just look at the amount of words/letters without assessing the sources or images. Hi Dabmasterars. Thank you for your work on Shredders (video game). Another editor, 11WB, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:
This looks fine, however it is important to quote what the source actually says. For example, Windows Central says the game has "
frequent performance issues, but the article uses the word "unstable" instead. This would be an acceptable summary without the quotations. It would be good to go over the article one more time to make these corrections. Good work otherwise!

Chad
Hey bud, you could have just explained your reason for adding the template and left it at that. That's what a decent, mature individual would have done. Adding that you can't believe you have to explain it to me is purely a dick move. Do you know everything that is to be known on Wikipedia? I doubt it. I don't either. Don't be rude to people. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 19:57, 10 February 2026 (UTC)
- I explained my reasoning perfectly clear in the second diff note. If you want a discussion about whether to keep the disambiguation or not, post it in Talk:Chad (slang). Sorry if I appear to be a dick. Dabmasterars [RU/COM] (talk/contribs) 11:31, 12 February 2026 (UTC)

Leon S. Kennedy edit war (resolved)
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing a page's content back to how you believe it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree with your changes. Please stop editing the page and use the talk page to work toward creating a version of the page that represents consensus among the editors involved. Wikipedia provides a page explaining how this is accomplished. If discussions reach an impasse, you can request help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution such as a third opinion. In some cases, you may wish to request page protection while a discussion to resolve the dispute is ongoing.
If you continue edit warring, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, or whether it involves the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also, please keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule— if things indicate that you intend to continue reverting content on the page. 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 06:34, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- Currently, the only editor who disagrees is you. If you want to discuss the images' inclusion, I opened a section at Talk:Leon S. Kennedy. Dabmasterars [RU/COM] (talk/contribs) 10:08, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- See . I'm not sure why you need to open a new thread if I already did already then pinged multiple editors, this is canvassing. 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 12:14, 14 February 2026 (UTC)
- I owe you an apology when I was a bit dismissive earlier. If you want to contribute more to the article or potentially collaborate at FAc in the future 3 weeks or a month after the game release, feel free to join. Thank you! 🍕BP!🍕 (🔔) 00:01, 16 February 2026 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I can definitely feel like a jerk in some moments (especially when I don't think twice before posting), but at the end of the day, we're all here to build an encyclopedia. Working on some extra Minecraft articles
Hi, figured I should let you know about these and get your thoughts on them based on your work at Development of Minecraft: Java Edition.
I'm currently working on two extra Minecraft development related articles (or planning to work on, they're pretty bare right now): List of Minecraft editions and, coverage pending, Development of Minecraft legacy console editions. As for why I am working on these, I feel that these are concepts not really covered that well on the main Minecraft article, and even if they were, there is probably enough material there to warrant something separate anyways. Furthermore,
- I feel that a list of Minecraft versions is something that makes sense since we have one for Doom ports, and there is certainly enough differences between each version that this article could exist. Some of these ports aren't covered in the main Minecraft article at all.
- Legacy console would be a bit more finicky, but considering it had its own development info, history, and quite significant differences between it and other Minecraft versions, all of which are not something necessarily documented well in the main article as opposed to Java and Bedrock. I think there could be enough to warrant a page. If it doesn't pan out, I will simply merge it into the editions list.
If you have any thoughts on these ideas, then let me know. You're also more than free to contribute to these if you wish, even while they aren't in mainspace. λ NegativeMP1 22:17, 2 March 2026 (UTC)
- @NegativeMP1 I don't mind these ideas and could definitely help, especially with sourcing. I wanted to make a development page about Bedrock and Console too, but the Java page took me over two weeks to write and I got a bit burnt out.
- I also wanted to make a page about the Marketplace, but felt like there is too little information, especially with all reliable sources I found just reporting random collabs and stats, and none of the criticisms that persistently come from the community. That's the weird thing, some stuff that feels like a big deal (such as the Mojang lawsuit) doesn't get covered. When the 2b2t censorship moment happened, I found only one reliable source that talked about it (thanks, GamesRadar+). Though not every source needs to be on the WP:VG/S, the criticism and the controversial info sections definitely need reliability.
- The development pages are a lot of work, but they should all be notable enough to warrant pages. My advice on drafts is usually to compile a bunch of sources first and then base an article on that, with sources being near a word/sentence that describes the theme (for example: discontinuation[1]). In our case though, you can focus on writing stuff and I can find sources. Dabmasterars [RU/COM] (talk/contribs) 05:11, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
- I agree there should also be one for Bedrock, eventually. My envisioned set up for all of this is that there can be development pages for the big three main iterations: Java, Bedrock (also with Pocket Edition), and Legacy consoles. Obviously the main Minecraft article would cover all of these, the development history of the game as a whole, and other things, but these are the three that I think have enough of a distinct "history" to them that they could stand as separate pages. There's details that all of these can go into that simply wouldn't be due on the main article.
- And yeah, that's typically how I go about draft creation. If you think you could help compile the sourcing, then that'd be great. I'll do the writing. Plus, with Legacy console at least, I'd hope that that could be nominated for GA not longer after being sent to mainspace; if that is the case, then we could co-nom, if you're open to the idea. λ NegativeMP1 05:25, 3 March 2026 (UTC)
