Hi @Pawnyy: you should normally leave the RtM open for at least 7 days, and shouldn't close it yourself. @MH-wiki2025: there is no article at BankSathi. There was one briefly at Banksathi, but it was moved into the draft space for insufficient evidence of notability, so I guess that answers your question? I urgently need assistance regarding the list of Earldoms in the Baronage of Scotland. I added an entry for the Earl of Dunbar, along with a publicly accessible source. However, the user Kellycrak88 keeps deleting my contributions and insists that only one specific register, roll.baronage.com, is acceptable.

This register is a private database, just like the source I provided. In the realm of feudal nobility, there are no longer any official state registers, as feudal tenure was abolished. By selectively enforcing only one private register while rejecting others, Kellycrak88 is actively violating Wikipedia’s neutrality guidelines.

I kindly request intervention to ensure fair treatment of sources and to prevent selective enforcement of privately run databases.

You keep deleting my articles without any research being done. The articles are not “conflict of interest” as they are expliciy designed to be expanded upon in the hopes of raising awareness about title packs and the holders of these titles as they are legally lords. Hi DG, no doubt you perfectly remember¹ CGSocialmedia (talk · contribs) whose unblock request you declined in January. Doesn't WikiEditorHub look like the same person? CGSocialmedia uploaded a photo that WikiEditorHub is using in a dreadfully spammy draft, and I think from the comments at User talk:CGSocialmedia as well as this that WikiEditorHub's draft is identical to that of CGSocialmedia. @DoubleGrazing: I maybe have made a blunder by accepting this article on a song, thanks to tired mind and mixing up WP:NALBUM and WP:NSONG criteria. I would like you to take a look at the page and tell me if you think that a song making it to the "national or significant music or sales charts" is not enough to pass notability per WP:NSONG. This is one of the criteria, A standalone article about a song should satisfy the above criteria. Any of the following factors suggest that a song or single may be notable enough that a search for coverage in reliable independent sources will be successful.

• Has been ranked on national or significant music or sales charts. (Note again that this indicates only that a song may be notable, not that it is notable.). RangersRus (talk) 09:12, 19 March 2025 (UTC)

Hi @RangersRus: certainly not a blunder, I think you were right to accept this, even if it ends up getting deleted or, more likely, redirected to the article on the album. Songs can be tricky and notability sometimes borderline, but borderline is what AfC often deals in, so that's fine.

I guess it's worth also noting that yes, NSONG says "may be notable", but then most of our notability guidelines are presumptive, not absolute. In that sense, guidelines cannot really conclusively prove either presence or absence of notability; hence, "guidelines".

AfC sometimes takes flak for applying too onerous notability etc. standards; if this acceptance went marginally the other way, that can only improve our reputation! :) -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:41, 19 March 2025 (UTC)

I've just noticed that an article I created recently Alan Brough (sculptor) has in it's history many other articles because I have re-used the sandbox time and again, I guess I moved the sandbox rather than copying the content, can any thing be done to clean up the history? @Theroadislong: I vaguely recall Primefac once saying something about history-splitting, and I think that's this: WP:HISTSPLIT. Basically involves deleting the article, then restoring only those parts of the history that are needed. (I guess the rest could be restored to a personal subpage of yours, if you want to keep them.)
