about MingYang Electric
It has been corrected for a long time, but there has been no review. Athena-en (talk)07:17, 6 November 2025 (UTC)~
- @Athena-en: yes, I can see that you submitted Draft:MingYang Electric on 23 Sept, which was approx 6 weeks ago. As you may have seen, the message on top of the draft says
"This may take 2 months or more, since drafts are reviewed in no specific order. There are 2,776 pending submissions waiting for review."
Please be patient. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:21, 6 November 2025 (UTC)- Uh, don't you have the authority to review? Athena-en (talk) 07:45, 6 November 2025 (UTC)

Silk Road Mountain Race
Hallo, I see you recently CSDd this, A1 and A7: I was alerted by a removed link from a page on my watchlist. I think I can find good enough sourcing for an article on the topic - could you please let me see the removed page, in case there's anything useful to be gained from it? Thanks. PamD 09:12, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @PamD,
- Sure, the entire content was:
The Silk Road Mountain Race is an unsupported cycling race in Kyrgyzstan.
- (That's it. No sources.)
- I gather (see User_talk:Green189carpet#Your_articles) the author is keen to develop this and other similar articles, and would probably welcome an opportunity to collaborate with a hugely experienced user such as your good self, if you'd be willing; for the opportunity to learn the proverbial ropes.
- Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 09:44, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Draft:Love Without Boundaries: assistance requested
Hi. Thank you for reviewing the LWB submission. I added multiple media articles, totaling 18 news articles and podcasts, yet the draft was declined in less than 60 seconds. Are NONE of these considered acceptable third party sources, not even the ones posted on foreign government websites? Should I delete some of them? Thank you for your assistance. Akindofmagick (talk) 19:38, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
Akindofmagick (talk) 19:38, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Akindofmagick: if you mean the inline external links in the draft, then to be perfectly honest, I didn't even look at those. They shouldn't be there, because inline external links are not allowed. I looked at the 'References' section, where footnotes corresponding to inline citations appear, and there are only two sources there, the organisation's own website, and that of the IRS. You need to remove all the inline external links and convert them to citations where relevant. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 19:43, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- Got it, DoubleGrazing. Just added two more official foreign govt reports; I'll convert them all to references. Many thanks! Akindofmagick (talk) 19:52, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
- Just resubmitted - crossing fingers and toes!! Thanks again for your help! Akindofmagick (talk) 20:33, 6 November 2025 (UTC)

Revised draft for review
Hello, I have manually rewritten my article in plain language, added verified Croatian and EU sources, and removed any machine-generated or speculative content. The article is now written entirely by hand, based on reliable references. Regarding the photograph: the portrait of me was taken by photographer Juraj Vuglač, whom I commissioned and paid for the work. He is the author of the photo, but I hold full rights to use it. Once he sends the official permission email to permissions-commons@wikimedia.org and it is confirmed, I will reinsert the image into the article. Thank you very much for your time and for reviewing the article again. – Melinda Šefčić Melinda Šefčić (talk) 14:58, 7 November 2025 (UTC)

The continuing Chandra Giri mess
I think it has to be the same editor as a rather clumsy sock at both Draft:Chandra Giri, Draft:Chandra Prasad Giri as well as other variants that are probably going to appear in short order. I will make a guess that they will listen if they get blocked for a day or so, I don't have any great alternatives. You have both more experience and admin privilege's so I will leave it to you. Ldm1954 (talk) 17:34, 9 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Ldm1954: can you remind me, is there a blocked user behind some of these? I can't remember off the top of my head, and couldn't immediately find one. In other words, whose sock would this latest user be? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:56, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- I don't think there is. Looking back, some of the previous articles came from Pratapkul but the pattern of creating duplicates is the same and the recreated draft by Notebook1331 looks identical to what was there before with my tagging. I only saw the two that have been recreated, I don't think I ever saw CHANDRA PRASAD GIRI or other variants that you added a comment on. Ldm1954 (talk) 10:09, 10 November 2025 (UTC)
- There are a couple of blocked accounts in those other two variants' histories, but their edits don't suggest they're associated with this subject. The earliest version of Chandra Giri, going back several years, was originally created by someone whose username implies it was the subject himself. My guess (and it is only that) is that he's since then passed on the task to his staff, who are taking turns giving it a go. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:31, 10 November 2025 (UTC)

Need help to get started with more responsibilities
Hi @DoubleGrazing, My mentor Codename Noreste is not responding on my queries which I have posted on his talk page on 5 Nov 2025. Hence, asking you for help. I would like to start my journey with more responsibilities. Would like to level up profile or looking for Barn star in my profile. Let me know from where I can start with it. Computer Background & well understand Wikipedia coding. I am a quick learner. ~~ 36Flames (talk) 07:04, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- @36Flames: I'm not quite sure what you mean by "more responsibilities"; are you referring to work that requires some advanced permissions, like New Page Patrol? You can get into those things once you've accumulated more experience, currently you have <150 edits to your name, so you're not yet even extended confirmed which is a requirement for quite a few of the advanced perms around here. On a more general note, I think your focus really needs to be on what we're all here to do – building the world's greatest encyclopaedia – and not worry about 'levelling up' or decorations like barnstars. Stick around and put in some decent work, and those things will probably follow. But if they are what you're mostly interested in, they probably won't. Hope that makes sense? -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:17, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- @DoubleGrazing, yes agreed. ok, I have flushed everything as thoughts. Lets focus on accumulating more experience. Is there any section/work which I can do on regular basis to gain some understanding & have more valuable edits counted? or where should I start? ~~ 36Flames (talk) 07:36, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
- @36Flames: this section Wikipedia:Contributing_to_Wikipedia#Maintenance_tasks,_news,_and_discussions has suggested tasks you can do to improve our existing 7m+ articles. Or perhaps you could get involved in one or more of the many WikiProjects in a subject area of interest to you. Or in some of the maintenance communities, like Recent changes patrol or Counter-Vandalism Unit. Once you gain a bit more experience, you can then start contributing to the various deletion discussions – that's a great way to understand not just our notability etc. policies better, but also how the community works towards consensus, which is a core principle here. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:03, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

- @KellyP067: sorry, you've "provided all reliable sources"? Of the five sources cited, three don't even work. The other two are the same, so actually just one, and it's not one I would call reliable. (And they were wrapped inside archive.org so that they didn't work either, it's only now that I've clicked on the links to the original sources that I actually saw them.) -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:50, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

Hello
u declined my article regarding pork bafat
it s a stub can u please accept it as i dont hvae a time to writ ethe whole article Tyasathi (talk) 08:41, 14 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Tyasathi: it's not a stub, and even if it were, that would make no difference in what comes to the need to demonstrate notability.
- You've resubmitted the draft without any attempt at addressing the decline reasons. That is not constructive, and if you keep doing so, the draft will eventually be rejected outright without the option to resubmit. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 08:49, 14 November 2025 (UTC)

We have an edit conflict here: you moved it to draft space while I was editing it, resulting in me "owning" the page. Can you merge my edits into draft? --Altenmann >talk 13:18, 14 November 2025 (UTC)

Paulo Carvalho (entrepreneur) - Submission declined
Dear Editor,
Thank you for reviewing our submission for the Wikipedia article on Paulo Carvalho.
We respectfully wish to clarify that the subject does meet the notability guidelines through significant independent coverage in reliable sources, both national and international. Below we list several articles that demonstrate this:
- Público Imobiliário – Construção sustentável conquista mercado em Portugal (article from 2010 we have kept on file)
- Valor Económico – Construção e Reabilitação Urbana (article we have kept on file)
These articles document a clear trajectory of innovation and global expansion in the architecture and construction sector, led by Paulo Carvalho’s visionary leadership. While the features often highlight the success of the organization he co-founded, it is essential to understand that he was the driving force behind the strategic direction, internationalization, and product development that enabled these achievements.
From inception, he envisioned a company that would challenge traditional approaches in construction by integrating technological precision, commercial insight, and product innovation. His capacity to identify global trends and shape pioneering solutions translated into real impact on emblematic projects such as Museum of the Future (Dubai), Apple Park (California), Google Office (Dublin) and Battersea Power Station (London).
Beyond international recognition, Paulo Carvalho, alongside the company's partner, Pedro Carvalho, also pioneered the creation and commercial rollout of patented and proprietary technologies that have influenced industry standards, including:
- Breather FR system (British Building envelope certifications)
- Vapour FR system (certified by Dubai Civil Defense)
- Multishaper® (registered)
- Bolt Protect® (registered)
He has also been invited as a speaker in renowned global events, such as:
These elements combined demonstrate that Paulo Carvalho’s individual contributions go far beyond operational leadership. He represents a case of entrepreneurial relevance, with international footprint and influence in sustainable construction practices and technical development.
We fully appreciate Wikipedia’s standards and would be grateful for the opportunity to resubmit the article with improved inline citations. Should you have any suggestions regarding formatting or sourcing preferences, we are ready to incorporate them.
Thank you again for your time and consideration. Iaraujobbd (talk) 09:47, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Iaraujobbd: you are free to resubmit the Draft:Paulo Carvalho (entrepreneur) draft whenever you wish, but if you don't address the reasons for my decline before doing so, the draft will be declined again.
- Much of the draft is unreferenced, which would be problematic in any article, but especially so in an article on a living person (WP:BLP). In BLP articles, every material statement, anything potentially contentious, and all private personal details must be clearly supported by an inline citation to a reliable published source, or else that content must be removed.
- What's more, of the 15 sources cited in this draft, most don't even mention Carvalho, they merely point to websites related to something that has been mentioned in the draft: eg. you say that
"Under his leadership, the company contributed to major architectural projects across the world, including the Hudson Yards in NY; the Apple Headquarters Cupertino"
, and you cite https://www.fosterandpartners.com/projects/apple-park in support of that statement, but I find no mention of Carvalho on that webpage. This means that even if there were credible claims of notability in your draft, there is no evidence to corroborate them. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:30, 18 November 2025 (UTC) - PS: Who is "we" in your message? Please note that Wikipedia user accounts are strictly for use by a single individual, and access to your account must not be shared with others. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 10:31, 18 November 2025 (UTC)

Krish Mathrani page
Comment: Thank you for the review. I would like to clarify an important point regarding notability. Krish Mathrani is a statewide elected official within the Michigan Republican Party, having been elected Youth Chair at the 2025 Michigan GOP State Convention. This position is filled through a statewide delegate vote, not an appointed or local role.Under Wikipedia’s notability guidelines for politicians (WP:NPOL), individuals who hold significant party offices that are elected at the state level may meet notability if supported by reliable secondary sources. Multiple independent outlets—including FOX 2 Detroit, Detroit Free Press, Michigan Advance, Metro Times, Bridge Michigan, and The Juggernaut—have provided coverage of Mathrani’s political role, with FOX 2 Detroit featuring him in an exclusive one-on-one interview about a major statewide political event. This context is provided to help reassess the subject’s eligibility under existing guidelines.Elijohnson123 (talk) 09:03, 21 November 2025 (UTC)

Articles for Creation backlog drive

Hello DoubleGrazing:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in December!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than half a month of outstanding reviews from the current 2+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 December 2025 through 31 December 2025.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.
There is a backlog of over 3000 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 06:07, 23 November 2025 (UTC)

Request on 14:12:48, 25 November 2025 for assistance on AfC submission by Ktambling
Hello, thanks so much for reviewing the page. I think I understand why this page was rejected, as the citations are fairly closely linked to horology, and include links to the official website - however, I was encouraged to attempt to create a page after looking at other small museum pages, such as the Arsenal Football Club Museum Arsenal Football Club Museum. If we take that as an example, could you clarify what makes the citations given on their page independent?
Ktambling (talk) 14:12, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Ktambling: you're quite right, that Arsenal article also has insufficient evidence of notability (none, in fact), and I've just tagged it accordingly. This is a textbook example of a legacy article that was created two decades ago while Wikipedia was in its 'land grab' phase, when the primary objective was to get articles out fast enough to create critical mass. Once the project took off, the focus started to shift increasingly to quality rather than quantity, and various inclusion criteria were introduced to ensure that all new articles meet at least some basic standards. But by then, it was too late to backpedal because with millions of articles in the encyclopaedia, we know there are any number of problematic ones out there, we just don't know where! That's why it's risky to use an existing article to model yours on, because it may have all sorts of problems that you won't want to replicate. That's also why the WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS argument won't hold, because that would only result in a race to the bottom in quality terms.
- And yes, you're correct in that primary sources, esp. ones very close to the subject, do not establish notability, and unfortunately that's what you mostly have, plus a few sources that talk about other things (other than the museum, that is) mentioned in the draft. At a push, source no. 3 is probably closest to a secondary one, but it's hyperlocal so doesn't really carry much weight, and in any case it alone isn't enough (we usually require 3+).
- If you don't think you can find better sources for now, you can just leave the draft there, and wait to see if better ones appear over time. As long as you make at least one edit every six months (doesn't have to be a substantive edit, just correcting a typo or punctuation counts), the draft will be kept pretty much indefinitely. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:33, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
Request for Review and Publication
Hello respected editors,
I have completed this Draft: Amol Karambe draft article in accordance with Wikipedia’s notability, sourcing, neutrality, and verifiability guidelines. The subject appears to meet the criteria for WP: BIO, with coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources.
I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could kindly review this draft and let me know: Does it meet the requirements for moving to the main article space? Are there any specific issues (formatting, neutrality, sources, or notability) preventing it from being published? If eligible, could it please be considered for approval or moved to mainspace?
Thank you for your time and guidance. Marathifilmwala (talk) 15:35, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Marathifilmwala: please don't post that AI autotext on my talk page. Thank you.
- You've resubmitted your draft, so it will be reviewed in due course once a reviewer gets around to it. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:41, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- At which point, it will be rejected, as lacking reliable independent sourcing. The sourcing in the draft is entirely inadequate, in that it isn't independent (for clearly promotional claims), isn't reliable (IMDB, and a slew of even more dubious sources), or simply doesn't support what it is being cited for. AndyTheGrump (talk) 15:57, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- I understand your concern about the lack of reliable and independent sources. I work on improving the draft by adding secondary, independent coverage from credible publications such as established newspapers, magazines, and verified news portals that have featured interviews, reviews, and articles about my work.
- I will also remove or replace sources like IMDb and other non-independent platforms, and ensure that each citation directly supports the content it is attached to, while keeping the tone strictly neutral and non-promotional.
- If you could kindly suggest any additional recommendations about preferred source types or structural improvements, it would be very helpful. Marathifilmwala (talk) 16:05, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- okay. I used AI to make que. more understanding. It's not AUTOTEXT. THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY. Marathifilmwala (talk) 16:03, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- If you cannot communicate in the English language without resorting to LLMs, you clearly lack the necessary skills to edit the English-language Wikipedia at all. Per policy, such postings may be hidden, and we regularly block those who try our patience with bullshit-bot-created dross. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:11, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

- Furthermore, you refer to the subject of the article as 'my work'. Read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and make the necessary declarations. And then read Wikipedia:Autobiography, since you may be unaware of the possible negative consequences of creating the article. AndyTheGrump (talk) 16:14, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

- Where have you made the necessary declarations? AndyTheGrump (talk) 17:09, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
- Hello AndyTheGrump,Thank you for your message. I have now added the required Conflict of Interest declaration on my user page and on the draft’s talk page. I understand the expectations under WP:COI and WP:Autobiography, and I will follow them strictly. I also acknowledge the concerns regarding sourcing. I am reviewing the draft again to ensure that only reliable, independent, secondary sources are used, and I am removing anything that does not meet Wikipedia’s standards. I will make further changes cautiously and will rely on the talk page for suggestions rather than making direct additions that may appear promotional.Thank you for your guidance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Marathifilmwala (talk • contribs) 14:54, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Marathifilmwala: I can't find any disclosure on either page. You are fast approaching the point of being sanctioned for disruptive as well as undisclosed paid editing. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 14:58, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

- At which point, it will be rejected, as lacking reliable independent sourcing. - Thank you for the review. I have now gone through the draft again and made the changes based on the earlier feedback. I have removed the problematic sources, replaced weak citations with reliable independent ones, and rewritten the text to keep it neutral and policy-compliant. I have also followed the guidance regarding COI. Could you please let me know if there are still specific issues that need to be addressed before resubmitting?
- Thank you for your time. Marathifilmwala (talk) 15:00, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing this out. I have now added the required Conflict of Interest / Paid Editing disclosure on both my user page and the talk page of Draft: Amol Karambe.
- Please let me know if the disclosure needs to be placed in another location or formatted differently. I want to make sure it fully meets the requirements before I continue working on the draft. Marathifilmwala (talk) 15:07, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Marathifilmwala: no you haven't, nobody has edited or even attempted to edit Draft talk:Amol Karambe for several days, and your userpage User:Marathifilmwala hasn't even been created yet. This is getting a bit tiresome now. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 15:12, 29 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for the clarification. I realise now that my earlier attempt did not save properly. I have created my user page and added the COI disclosure there, and I have now also posted the COI notice on the talk page of Draft: Amol Karambe. If anything is still missing or incorrectly placed, please let me know, and I will correct it. Marathifilmwala (talk) 15:18, 29 November 2025 (UTC)

- Thanks @JayCubby, that's probably the same person who was already belly-aching about this on de.wiki. I've told them to come here and we can discuss the matter, but for fairly obvious reasons they're choosing not to. Hey ho. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 19:42, 25 November 2025 (UTC)
Decline of my sole, Wikipedia page.
I am a former Mathematics Lecturer. I have checked my co-ordinates, using a as both, positive and negative, the answers are correct. There are No references required, as I know my work, to be absolutely correct. Are you a Mathematician? What's the problem here? I have spent a great deal of my time and effort, today, on creating this Wikipedia page, the code required, has had to be learnt by myself and is not, at all easy to input all the formulae correctly. Mike Ambrose (talk) 18:01, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
- @Mike Ambrose: while we certainly appreciate your efforts to help develop the encyclopaedia, verifiability is a cornerstone of Wikipedia – so yes, references (to reliable published sources) very much are required; the essay WP:TRUTH elaborates. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 18:07, 27 November 2025 (UTC)
