  • Special report: What actually happened during the Wikimedia security incident?
A horrifying exploit took place, which could have had catastrophic and far-reaching consequences if used maliciously; instead, it seems to have happened by accident and was used for childish vandalism. How did this happen, and what did the script actually do?

@MotoFan9373 Hey dude, I'm doing well, just busy as always. Thanks for your kind words. Also thank you for your contributions here in Wiki! Keep it up as always. I feel a bit relieved now having this much help in MotoGP articles from you and the other new editors. Years back especially in pandemic, I was basically the only one editing consistently lol. Btw @Dieter Lloyd Wexler, What is your favourite rider in MotoGP? Marquez brothers? or anything else? MotoFan9373 (talk) 04:09, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
@MotoFan9373 Sorry dude but we can't talk about those stuff here in Wikipedia per WP:NOTFORUM. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 04:12, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
This is just sharing story bro @Dieter Lloyd Wexler, just have some fun and not arguing with you, mate. Besides, I also respect to the all rider and no hate each other. You can trust me. MotoFan9373 (talk) 17:15, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
@MotoFan9373 Wikipedia really isn't the place for these kinds of conversations, but since you really want to know, I am a big fan of Valentino Rossi. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 17:33, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
Ok, nice bro, I was a big fan of Valentino Rossi too before his retirement. After that, I support "Marquez brothers" now. For me, these 2 guys are the "GOAT" and the big icon of MotoGP. I don't differentiate between these two guys and consider them equal, because they are both equally great @Dieter Lloyd Wexler. But what confuses me is why people always argue, can't respect these two guys, and always hate and boo each other (e.g., Rossi Fan vs. Marquez Fan). Why not just reconcile and admit that they're both great? What's so hard about that?
I really hate it when a rider crashes, people instead boo and insult them. Is that a good thing? Of course not, right? When a rider crashes, we should show sympathy, like saying, "Oh, that’s unfortunate for the rider." But instead, they do the opposite. And almost every day, I see endless hate in the social media comments.
What are your opinions and suggestions for them @Dieter Lloyd Wexler?
Let me emphasize this once again, there's no debate here and I'm just sharing a story. Thanks, mate. MotoFan9373 (talk) 02:23, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
@MotoFan9373 I refuse to take part in these conversations as it violates WP:NOTFORUM and WP:OWNTALK, specifically all discussion should ultimately be directed solely toward the improvement of the encyclopedia. If I wanted to partake in these types of discussions, I would have used Discord or Reddit instead. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 18:34, 14 March 2026 (UTC)
Owh, so we can't sharing story in wikipedia @Dieter Lloyd Wexler? And I want to ask too, why the total fastest lap Angel Nieto is 63 in his Career Statistics but in "List of Grand Prix motorcycle racing rider records" the total is 81? So, which one is right? MotoFan9373 (talk) 07:37, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
@MotoFan9373 Nah user talk pages is for discussions and converations in building an online encyclopedia, not for sharing opinions and getting to know each other. Nieto's fastest laps should be 81 per . I already fixed Nieto's article. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 11:43, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
Ok, I want to ask you why in the list of 50cc world champion the fastest lap is just - from 1974 until 1989 @Dieter Lloyd Wexler MotoFan9373 (talk) 12:23, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
@MotoFan9373 Not sure but lemme check into it. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 12:50, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
Ok, please check it @Dieter Lloyd Wexler. MotoFan9373 (talk) 12:52, 15 March 2026 (UTC)
Hello mate @Dieter Lloyd Wexler, after I thought about it, maybe I know the answer, why the fastest lap is just - from 1974 until 1989? Because at that time it seems that FIM had not recorded the fastest lap, so that's why just -. (That is just my opinion, If you think I'm wrong, you can correct me.)
Oh yeah, btw, I already help you to fix the year of "Brazilian Grand Prix" at "List of Grand Prix motorcycle races" because I see you type "2025" at the "By host nation" section so I help you to fix that and I already help you too edit the "List of Grand Prix motorcycle racing rider records", "List of 500cc/MotoGP rider records", and "List of MotoGP/500cc constructor records". I'm just trying to lighten your load, mate 😉. If you have any difficulties and need my help, you can chat with me and don't hesitate, mate @Dieter Lloyd Wexler, just chill. I want to say thank you too, because you always so kind with me.

@MotoFan9373 About the fastest laps, they've always been recorded nonstop since 1949 so I'm not really sure why the article creator didn't put fastest laps there. I checked my results book but sadly it doesn't have race results for 50cc, 80cc, and 350cc. It only has season results for those classes. You should probably ask NapHit about this, but they're not active anymore in GP racing.
Thanks for your help. I've been busy always with work but I did try to take some time off to edit after the races, but as you saw, I missed some edits and made mistakes lol I do need a break. Thanks man. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 20:36, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
You are welcome, mate @Dieter Lloyd Wexler, and maybe we not need to think about "Why in the list of 50cc world champion the fastest lap is just - from 1974 until 1989" this problem again, because is already past right? So just focus on what we will face in the future.
