Godsmack

Hi there. I am aware of your contributions to pages related to Godsmack. Really appreciate that. The band just announced their new album called When Legends Rise. I was wondering if you could contribute something to the new album and of course new single.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Love-Hate-Sex-Pain Sample.ogg

Thank you for uploading File:Love-Hate-Sex-Pain Sample.ogg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:05, 22 July 2018 (UTC)

Long time no see

Hello my friend, seeing your recent edit on Under Your Scars made me come here to thank you in person. Hopefully you have plan to do maintenance Godsmack and its related pages, as you've contributed pretty much few years ago. Looking forward to your response! Arashinc (talk) 04:18, 27 October 2020 (UTC)

Hey, Arashinc! I appreciate the kind words. :) I'm definitely planning on doing some maintenance. I'm starting with the most recent singles then making my way back to the albums. Let's see how that goes! GSWikiChampion (talk) 18:37, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
I believe I'm done with both Under Your Scars and When Legends Rise (song). I might make some minor changes here and there, but that should be it. Unforgettable (Godsmack song) is looking pretty thin though so I might work on that one next. I'm saving Bulletproof (Godsmack song) for last since it seems to be in pretty good shape for the most part.
I see and it's appreciable. I definitely agree on Bulletproof and hey I've been trying to find artworks for these singles which was a let down so far.
I believe you. I don't think the band has released custom artwork for those singles.GSWikiChampion (talk) 17:27, 28 October 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fearless (President song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Composition. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Replaceable non-free use File:President's Band Members.png

Thanks for uploading File:President's Band Members.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. reppoptalk 08:13, 2 November 2025 (UTC)

Angel Wings (song) moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Angel Wings (song). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and Special:Diff/1339098179. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 01:02, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Hi @Gurkubondinn - The only part that was machine generated was the citations themselves since it's a bit tedious to do it manually. Everything else I wrote entirely on my own. You can look at my past PRESIDENT-related contributions, among so many others dating back as far as early 2010s. GSWikiChampion (talk 03:59, 19 February 2026 (UTC)
Then you should be more than capable of doing it yourself. Please do that in the future, your chatbot inserted catastrophic errors. --Gurkubondinn (talk) 17:09, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
"Catastrophic" is kind of a stretch, but sure thing... In any case, I appreciate the feedback. GSWikiChampion (talk 20:18, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
Also, that particular citation in reference I've since fixed its formatting, so to draft the entire article just for that reason alone seems rather excessive. GSWikiChampion (talk 04:01, 19 February 2026 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Angel Wings (song) (February 20)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by RangersRus was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit it after they have been resolved.
RangersRus (talk) 15:53, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
RangersRus: note that the these two pages are both in mainsapce:
There is an ANI thread about this: WP:ANI § User:Dsiodsiodsijo making inappropriate mass moves from draft to article space, continuing after warnings.
