Hello, Theleekycauldron. This message concerns the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Mel King".

Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission, and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Your RM close at Talk:2026 Tumbler Ridge shooting

Hello, theleekycauldron! Just a friendly suggestion to review your pronoun usage before someone accuses you of having an agenda or something. The shooter’s gender identity has been a major distraction on that page.—Odysseus1479 07:27, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

ah damnit! i read the name "Jesse", read it as masculine, and just went with it. my bad :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 07:49, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

GalliumBot not updating Wikipedia:Did you know/DYK hook count

Hi leek, just to let you know, your bot hasn't updated that page at all today However, he is still updating all the other pages JuniperChill (talk) 21:19, 6 March 2026 (UTC)

We're now up to six days without an update. It would really help if you could let us know at WT:DYK when you think you might be able to get the DYK hook count function working again. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 22:03, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

Zev Eleff

You were redlinking it. What was here? Are you going to write the bio? --Altenmann >talk 00:08, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

@Altenmann: It was a redirect to Authentically Orthodox, but because Eleff is also president of Gratz College, it doesn't make sense to redirect to either place anymore – under current policy, that'd just be a deletion. I'm not planning to write the bio, but I do think Eleff meets the notability criteria, so please don't remove the links unless you can show that Eleff shouldn't be covered on Wikpedia. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 00:13, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
I was asking because if not you, then I will write up a bio myself.--Altenmann >talk 00:14, 7 March 2026 (UTC)
Oh, please do! That's why I leave the redlinks :) theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 00:15, 7 March 2026 (UTC)

Do you have a bot that needs to be changed to deal with a rename of WP:Recent additions?

Please see WP:RMTR, bottom of page. It is asserted that the rename already has consensus but it can't take place until the bot operators are ready. If you know how to answer this, could you reply at WP:RMTR? Thanks, EdJohnston (talk) 19:30, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

MfD nomination of Talk:Twitter

Talk:Twitter, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Talk:Twitter and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Talk:Twitter during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Abesca (talk) 22:13, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

FAC chat

Hi Leeky, I’m interested in FAC process. Will it be much longer before there’s a decision on your article? How does it work?

As a law-talking’ editor, you might be interested in another article that’s in process: Bankers' Toadies incident. Z1720 nominated it and got a lot of comments, and has temporarily withdrawn it because busy IRL and needs time to respond. Hope he puts it back up. It’s an interesting one. Mr Serjeant Buzfuz (talk) 12:00, 12 March 2026 (UTC)

hey, Mr Serjeant Buzfuz! My understanding is that three supports is probably enough – it'll probably happen once the discussion has died down and a coordinator next looks at it. Basically what happens is I post my nomination and different people will either oppose outright or post a bunch of comments, and if I can resolve all of their concerns satisfactorily, they'll support. Some people will leave specialized types of comments, like image copyright or formatting, but most people look at prose, breadth, and sourcing. People will tend to oppose outright when an article isn't within striking distance – this can happen when the prose sucks, the sourcing is questionable, the coverage has big gaps, or the neutrality questions are unresolved. Otherwise, it's just a matter of making it through the comments and getting enough support to get to a promotion. One support usually isn't enough, not sure about two. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 20:23, 12 March 2026 (UTC)
