Content dispute resolution belongs on the article Talk page

Hi, GenoV84, and thanks for your contributions. When you are involved in a content dispute at an article, the proper method and venue for dispute resolution is discussion on the article Talk page. Choosing to template an editor involved in the dispute with Template:Uw-disruptive1 as you did here instead of discussing at the article TP is poor form, and is unlikely to lead to improvement of the article.

After placing the template, the user invited you to "please go to the talk page and discuss". But instead you doubled down, responding: "No, I don't think I will", accompanied by further remarks in a patronizing tone. This appears to be a direct refusal to follow WP:DR, which is policy.

Surely you know all this; you are a senior editor with many years here and many thousands of edits, and you don't need me to tell you. As an uninvolved editor with no skin in the game, if anyone comes across here as uncivil or disruptive, it is you. Maybe your passions got the better of you on that particular topic, I don't know. It happens; but whatever it was, going forward, please remain civil, and assume good faith (especially on the part of editors who may disagree with you). Please reserve the use of user warning templates to problems of user behavior, as unwarranted placement can be viewed as uncivil, and follow the recommended paths for dispute resolution starting with discussion on the article Talk page. Hello @Mathglot:, sorry for the late reply, and thank you for your understanding and kindness regarding this situation. Yes, I am aware of all of these informations, and my last reply to the user who started a non-existent content dispute (I'm not the owner of that article, Wikipedia is; there's no point for me to be interested about it), was posted on the Teahouse, where I suggested them to simply drop the stick and move on with their lives. That's all about it. GenoV84 (talk) 00:24, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
@Mathglot: Correction: I thought that there was an ongoing discussion on the article's talk page, but there is none. Even better, we can all move on now. Thanks again, wish you all the best! GenoV84 (talk) 00:30, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

My Edits on the MTA Bus page was solely a housekeeping measure to remove needlessly longer dashes with traditional hyphens. ~2026-98943-7 (talk) 03:02, 17 March 2026 (UTC)

I suggest you to take some time to familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Be prepared to provide an accurate edit summary for all of your contributions and to cite a reliable source for all of your additions. You can have a look at the introduction to WP guidelines and policies and the tutorial on citing sources. GenoV84 (talk) 03:07, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
