Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that you have made an edit summary or a comment that did not appear to be appropriate, civil, or otherwise constructive, and it may have been removed. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Even though the removal of content may have been justified, it is important to assume good faith and not accuse others of agendas; if it is truly a behavioral editing issue, then it may be best to bring to an administrative noticeboard. I have been guilty of similar in the past too, but it is important to be respectful and not used such charged language in edit summaries. ~ oklopfer (💬) 21:09, 11 April 2026 (UTC)

@OklopferThank you for bringing this up. It was shocking to see how this editor has been very abusive calling names - he did not read new articles showing that Lango and Kumam peoples have now been formally reconciled to a langauge group called Ateker peoples which includes Teso, Karamajong and others. Lots of linguists and anthropologists noticed these years ago (e.g. Uzoigwe) but no full actions were taken in terms of language classifications for these two ethnic groups due to the fact that the groups currently speak mixed dialects Lwo/Luo with Ateker (referenced in number 2 and 6 in the Kumam main article). Todate, people are still making adjustments e.g. Britanicca now groups lango language under Eastern Sudanic language similar to Teso langauge and other Ateker language groups. This editor Historybuff623 attcked me instead of accessing references (e.g. Ateker reunion) that has been provided in the article.~~ Gwoktik (talk) 10:25, 12 April 2026 (UTC)
