Hi IShowSammy. There are several problems with File:Samuel Salazar-Diaz 1.jpg that have to do with Wikipedia's non-free content use policy: more specifically, this file fails non-free content use criterion #1 and non-free content use criterion #9. Non-free content can only be used in the articles per criterion #9; it can't be used on user pages or subpages in your user namespace as explained WP:UP#Non-free files. So, even if the file was OK as licensed, you would be able to use it on the pages you're were using it. In addition, non-free photos of living people are pretty much never allowed per WP:FREER; so, even if tried to use the photo in an actual Wikipedia article, you still would be able to do so per criterion #1.

In general, the only type of images that can be used on user pages are ones licensed in accordance with WP:COPY#Guidelines for images and other media files. If you would like to upload an image of you yourself to use on your Wikipedia user page, please take a look at Wikipedia:A picture of you for some general information. Please understand that the person who takes a photo is typically considered to be its copyright holder and only that person can release their photo under the type of license that's free enough for Wikipedia's purpose. So, if you didn't take this photo yourself, you will need to provide Wikipedia with some formal way of verifying the WP:CONSENT of the person who did; otherwise, Wikipedia won't be able to keep the photo. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:41, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

Please read the template you are applying. It excludes userpages for anonymous users who have edited, redirects from misspellings of an established user's userpage, and the previous name of a renamed user. Thanks for uploading File:WA-WSDOT-SR99-HD.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under the non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting.
