Your submission at Articles for creation: Duncan Peck MacDougall (June 27)
Draft declinedThank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Your draft submission to Articles for creation has been reviewed but not accepted at this time.
FeedbackThe reviewer, Aeon Sentinel, left the following feedback:
provide significant coverage: discuss the person in detail, not brief mentions or interviews lacking independent analysis;
are reliable: from reputable outlets with editorial oversight;
are independent: not connected to the person, such as interviews, press releases, the subject's own website, or sponsored content.
Please add references that meet all three of these criteria. If none exist, the subject is not yet suitable for Wikipedia.
Thank you for your work on this draft. The subject may well be notable, but as submitted the sourcing does not yet demonstrate it, so I'm declining for now. The core issue is the absence of significant coverage that is independent of the subject and about him specifically. I am suggesting you take the following next steps: foreground the 1948 paper and its citation impact, make the Medal for Merit a standalone, well-sourced sentence, and locate at least one genuinely independent obituary or, better yet, a detailed biographical profile.
