Welcome

Hello, Lyujinshuo! Welcome to Wikipedia! It appears that you are here to participate in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we highly encourage you to go through our training page that's specifically created and catered for students such as yourself:
If you need help, check out Wikipedia's page for questions. You can also ask me by visiting my user talk page and leaving a message, or you can ask your question on this page by editing it and placing {{Help me}} before your question. Please make sure that you sign your messages on discussion pages, which is done by entering four tildes (~~~~) at the very end of it; this will automatically insert your username and the date. I also highly recommend that you review the advice for students page.
Before you create an article, make sure that you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one, please tell your instructor about creating one. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know that the article is a subject of an educational assignment as well as aid your communication with them.

While editing:
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Be bold, but do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- No edit warring or abuse of multiple accounts.
- Provide reliable sources to the content you add. If you are adding biomedical information, please follow this guideline.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay with us as a member of the community - even after your assignment is finished. Your time, energy, and your contributions will be highly valued and appreciated among us.

Peer Review Feedback - Ageing_of_Australia (Choi Jaewon)
I am writing this message for our "Deadline 6" peer review assignment. I reviewed your excellent translation of the "Ageing of Australia" article into Chinese (澳大利亚人口老龄化). You did an outstanding job on this translation. I was impressed that you matched the structure of the original article. All the sections is organized correctly. You also translated the image captions and "Infobox" data, which is a great attention to detail. Most importantly, you correctly transferred all the references. This is essential for Wikipedia, and you handled it perfect. I also noticed you did a great job creating new "blue links" to existing article on the Chinese Wikipedia. I only have one small suggestion: maybe add the Chinese {{short description}} template, like the English version have. Overall, this is a fantastic translation that follows Wikipedia's rule very well! Jaewon911 20251111093439 09:34, 11 November 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to Xu Yunji when you modified the page, you introduced unknown parameters. Just because you specify |some_param=some_variable does not always mean that variable will display. The |some_param= must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a Show preview button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk for assistance.

Hello, Lyujinshuo. I noticed that one of your recent edits added a link to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For future reference, images can be uploaded via the file upload wizard. For additional instructions on how to upload files, please see Wikipedia's image tutorial. Please be sure to also read Wikipedia's image use policy to ensure your image abides by copyright guidelines. Thank you. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 20:29, 24 June 2026 (UTC)
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Regarding your edits to Maurice Wong, please review your changes before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history, as well as helping prevent edit conflicts.
- In the Source (wikitext) editor, review your changes by pressing the Show preview button below the edit box (left image);
- In the Visual Editor, click the 'Review your changes' link in the Save dialog box (right):
This will show you what the page would look like with your changes, so you can make any needed refinements before actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you do this before saving. If you have any questions, please contact the help desk for assistance. Thank you. Sumanuil. (talk to me) 07:31, 26 June 2026 (UTC)
