Deletion discussion about Sabine Grofmeier

Hello Moondragon21, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Sabine Grofmeier, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sabine Grofmeier.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dionysodorus}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hi Moondragon21. Thank you for your work on Lejone Mpotjoane. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating this page for Mpotjoane; ministers in a national government are almost certainly notable, although at present there is only one source. A helpful starting point, this stub certainly has potential to grow.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi Moondragon21. Thank you for your work on Brenda Tuosto. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thank you for creating this translation for a national politician who is bound to be notable. For future articles, note the manual of style for sections (So, 'See also', then 'References', then 'External links'), and remember that you don't have to duplicate the references in full - use the reference names.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Klbrain}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi Moondragon21. Thank you for your work on Municipal council (Switzerland). Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for bringing this translation over. From here, it would be great to expand or evidence the text with other sources: currently, there is only one!

Hi Moondragon21. Thank you for your work on Troadec family murders. Another editor, 11WB, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

This is a very interesting article! It might be a good idea to integrate some of the shorter sections into the larger ones as subsections. I would also recommend using {{ |language= }} within the non-English inline citations to identify which language the source is written in.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|11WB}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Hi, I also wanted to ask if you've considered reapplying for the Autopatrolled right. I note you had it revoked three years ago after concerns were raised by @Fram. This article looked mostly fine and the translation banner was applied to the article talk page, which is encouraging to see. I've courtesy pinged @Fram, as an extremely experienced editor and having prior knowledge of the articles you created, if they believe you're now suitable for AP, I would feel comfortable endorsing that. Especially considering you create many articles every day which contributes to the backlog at NPP. Let me know! 11WB (talk) 17:08, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for offering. When I had the autopatrolled right I didn't know much about it and did not use it. I am much more experienced with editing and translating now so perhaps its something to look into. Moondragon21 (talk) 17:19, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
It isn't a permission that offers any extra tools, it simply allows for articles you create to skip the NPP feed. This means they don't need a reviewer (such as myself) to mark them as reviewed—at which point they are indexed on search engines such as Google. 11WB (talk) 17:23, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
I see. I will read Wikipedia:Autopatrolled for a refresher. Moondragon21 (talk) 17:25, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
That is a good idea! Either way, I would definitely recommend waiting for @Fram to respond here. They might not at all, but it's better to be cautious than jumping ahead without due care! 11WB (talk) 17:28, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Okay thanks! Moondragon21 (talk) 17:30, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
As the above section "Unverified machine translations" was only two months ago, I don´t think regranting autopatrolled would be a good idea (just my opinion, if you do apply for it the decision will be taken by someone without prior involvement normally). Fram (talk) 17:52, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Ah, I missed that discussion. As a sidenote @Moondragon21, it may be a good idea to archive part of this talk page, as it is quite long and takes a moment to load on my end. @Fram's prior advice is sound. Quality should always take precedence over quantity when it comes to article creation. The latter most often results in poorer quality, which is not want we want! Based on @Fram's above reply, I won't be able to reasonably endorse you for AP, but you are still welcome to apply for it yourself! Happy editing! 11WB (talk) 17:59, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
Okay no worries. Moondragon21 (talk) 18:06, 10 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello,

I just wanted to thank you directly here for creating those new pages for Mauritian MPs since it’s a lot of work to send you thanks individually for each page :)) ; it’s very much appreciated and it makes the job easier to edit :)) I’ve taken a break for a bit so when I resume on editing Mauritian politics, I’ll expand those pages more and fill it in.
