Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Eudonia lineola, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please write in complete sentences. This is a general-language encyclopedia. It is not a species checklist or catalog. - UtherSRG (talk) 23:02, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Eudonia mercurella, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Even if you are translating from another wiki's article, you must cite references. - UtherSRG (talk) 23:07, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Alexander Yakhontov

The article Alexander Yakhontov has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Edits to Eudonia lacustrata etc
Please see my mod to your edit. We do not direct the readers to do something. Either the reference is added to support an assertion, or it isn't needed. I'm assuming you are using it to support the previous statement's assertion. If you aren't, then please remove the reference and add or make a "Further reading" section. - UtherSRG (talk) 23:57, 9 January 2025 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Memphis hedemanni. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. —Compassionate727 (T·C) 15:44, 17 July 2025 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Erebia dromus

A tag has been placed on Category:Erebia dromus indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
