Controversial topics
Hi @Parispetals, As a first time editor that's still learning Wikipedia policies and guidelines, it can be very challenging to edit controversial articles like the ones listed below, that require editors to follow Wiki policy to a tee and have respectful, productive discussions with the community. I strongly encourage you to choose a different article to work on. If you have any questions, please let me know. Looping in @Phillip Ardoin.
- Domestic terrorism in the United States
- Terrorism in the United States
- Political ideologies in the United States
- Attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Florida
- Assassination of Charlie Kirk
- Gun violence in the United States

- Hello @Parispetals, The articles China–Israel relations and Russo-Ukrainian war (2022–present) a protected and controversial article that is subject to "extended confirmed protection" and can only be edited by people whose accounts are more than six months old and who have made more than 500 edits to Wikipedia. You'll need to pick a different article to work on. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:42, 24 October 2025 (UTC)
