Hello @PhilKnight,

Opinion/guidance needed
Hi, sorry to bother you. In this section of the Pirate Party Germany article, some contributor added a lot of information about the party's new chair, Lilia Kayra Kuyumcu. I don't know how all this biographical information is relevant to the party itself or whether it should be incorporated in a new article dedicated to her. I raised the question in the talk page of the party's article in November, but no one has answered so far. What do you think is the best way to proceed? Odysseus Giacosa (talk) 19:25, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, I think you can make a bold edit to the page, thinning that section referring to the talk page in your edit summary. If you get reverted, then direct the editor who reverted you to the talk page and discuss the matter with them. Good luck! PhilKnight (talk) 03:48, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, thank you for the advice. I removed the stuff that was basically just a biography of Kuyumcu and put it in a draft - perhaps I can make a dedicated article for her out of this information, who knows? Still, that section is quite long (a bit too long for a party that seems to be in terminal and irreversible decline), but anyway. Odysseus Giacosa (talk) 16:20, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi, I made a draft article for Kuyumcu. It's right here. I'm a bit stumped as to how to format her birth date info in the sidebar, because we only know her birth year and not her full birth date. Also, I'm not sure there's any free to use (in terms of copyright and all) photograph to include in the sidebar. Besides these issues, I think it's getting close to being well-written enough to be moved out of draft space - provided, of course, it satisfies other criteria as well. Hi, I took a look at Thegoodadvocate from Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Freeatlastforever and it's almost certainly a sockpuppet. I have had to deal with this editor for months and I'm too familiar with the way they edit, their edit summaries etc.

Univ of California related socks
Hi, since the topic at SPI is already closed, I hope you don't mind a follow up question here. You said in Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Alexliwiththe3 that OldRhinoceros account is unrelated. Did you simply mean they're not "technically" related or do you believe they're not related based on the edit pattern as well? Special:Diff/1326331341 and Special:Diff/1326726761 for example look similar in nature after taking WP:SPA and OldRhinoceros (talk · contribs) account creation time into account. Graywalls (talk) 13:56, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- @Graywalls: I meant the checkuser result is they are unrelated. I wasn't expressing an opinion on the behavioral likelihood. I have changed the status to "checked". PhilKnight (talk) 14:19, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
Reconsideration of Realjjfrosh notability
Hello @PhilKnight,
I understand that the Realjjfrosh page was deleted and is currently protected due to repeated recreation attempts. I fully respect the protection and Wikipedia rules and am not suggesting recreating the article myself.
I just wanted to point out that there is now **more independent coverage** from reliable sources that could support notability:
- **Punch (2 April 2025):** Reports on plans to launch a social platform for creators — . - **ThisDayLive (27 August 2025):** Covers his advice to young creators and perspective on overcoming challenges — . - **Vanguard (18 October 2025):** Reports on his nomination for Social Media Influencer of the Year at the 2025 African Entertainment Awards USA — .
- **AEAUSA Nominees (October 2025):** Official PDF listing him as a nominee — .
- **BusinessDay (1 November 2025):** Covers his digital entrepreneurship and work supporting creators — . - **Daily Trust (8 December 2025):** Discusses his application of theatre training to digital content creation — . - **BusinessDay (6 January 2026):** Further coverage of theatre training applied to content — .
These sources provide solid, verifiable coverage that could meet Wikipedia’s notability guidelines. I am not trying to create the page myself, but thought it might be helpful for you or other experienced editors to know that the topic now has additional coverage.
Thank you for your time and guidance. Wizardzsn (talk) 17:40, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
Sockpuppet/IP disruption
Hi, I believe that this is the same IP editor (Special:Contributions/~2026-36621-1) who harassed other users (me specifically, see my edit history on my user page: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Woxic1589&action=history) and adds protection templates to non protected pages. User Kajmer05 (talk · contribs) had reported this earlier as well. I don’t know if a SPI is useful as he keeps coming back. Woxic1589 (talk) 20:29, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- Their IP addresses and locations match, and they're doing the same thing in the same article. I'm ready to file if an SPI is appropriate. Kajmer05 (talk) 20:32, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
- I have blocked them for a week for edit warring. For a longer block, you should file a SPI. PhilKnight (talk) 06:52, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

- Good evening, and I'm terribly sorry you have to put up with all this again. You might find this revision (which I duly undid) interesting. It's the same reinsertion of claims that are not backed by verifiable sources, combined with removal of an actual citation. What makes this even more noteworthy is the explanation of the edit, both in content and tone. Odysseus Giacosa (talk) 23:01, 22 January 2026 (UTC)
- His talk page on the Greek Wikipedia is quite interesting. He has been indefinitely blocked from there. I believe I don't need to comment any further. Odysseus Giacosa (talk) 23:49, 22 January 2026 (UTC)

Blocked TA new accounts
Hi PhilKnight, the blocked ~2026-52012-3 has created Philippines EEZ & Jurisdictions to get around the block (contributions page linked, edit summaries alone show it). I don't see a warning template explaining multiple accounts to TAs. There have already been new warnings, but at any rate, this is the first time I've encountered this with a TA. Draft:Brave (web browser)
Hi PhilKnight, I do not know if you recognized it, but this user is spamming and vandalizing x-wiki. Their talkpage was just a copy of Brave (web browser). Do you think it is really neccesary to keep another copy as draft? NDG (talk) 09:32, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- Hi NDG, vandalism on other language Wikipedias isn't a block reason, and creating a copy of an existing page isn't a speedy criterion. PhilKnight (talk) 09:56, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- Ah, fine so we have 12 entrys in the abuse-filter log, 2 reverted edits and a copy of a namespace page on their userpage plus disruptive editing in more than five other projects. But keep that contributor and that draft, both would probably be useful here. In my opinion, this is incomprehensible. NDG (talk) 10:06, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- Oh, it seems that after 4 blocks they were identified as LTA User:DLOEI2536 but I don't see any reason why they should not contribute to enwiki. NDG (talk) 10:24, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- I have requested a global lock on Meta. PhilKnight (talk) 12:44, 28 January 2026 (UTC)
- I think that is not an issue for a global lock. Local communitys should deal with that. And in your opinion, enwiki should keep User:LAW42000 and Draft:Brave (web browser) and this is fine. I just stopped patrolling here, as my understanding of antivandalism differs too much. NDG (talk) 12:49, 28 January 2026 (UTC)

Advice on improving an infobox needed
Hi, sorry to bother you again. I've been working on the article on Macross character Misa Hayase, and I'm having doubts regarding the infobox. Namely, the "Voiced by" part: After the name of the voice actress, there's an extremely long listing of productions in which said actress voiced the character, but I feel uneasy about this list being so long. By looking at other anime productions' main characters (such as Naruto Uzumaki), I don't see this happening in their infoboxes. I'm thinking it'd be best if I removed all these internal links and just kept the citations instead. Would it make the infobox less cluttered and concise, or would it remove useful information?
