Request reason:

Hello admins, I was just checking when/if I would be unblocked; there was no time limit set on the block page. I have been reflecting for the past few weeks about the incident and realised the reason why I was blocked. I feel that I deserve this punishment for hurting others. If I am unblocked, I would try to make amends and try to improve Wikipedia instead of deteriorating it and hurting others. Meanwhile, as I am blocked, I would be reading through WP:Blocking_policy,WP:Contributing to Wikipedia,WP:FAQ/Editing and reading through Wikipedia policy and guidelines. If I am unblocked I will try to be a better person than I previously was. Thank you. Cactus0rme (talk) 02:09, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You are blocked indefinitely. There's no set expiry date. This unblock request doesn't address the reason for your block. Please review WP:GAB. Yamla (talk) 15:05, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Why I cannot send the unblock request from User:Helloidonthaveaname

Since it was a long time since I had accessed the account, I had forgotten the password. Please try to understand my situation. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Cactus0rme (talk) 02:32, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:

It has been at 3 weeks since my block was started, and I have taken this time to understand more about the Wikipedia policies and community and what I did was wrong to it and reflect on my actions. I understand the decision made by the administrators and understand why they had decided on blocking me. It was for my own well-being and the well-being of others. I made several mistakes that I ask forgiveness for. I know my behaviour was wrong and promise not to repeat it. If I do get unblocked, I would first try doing the beginner task at my homepage and would try to get someone to mentor/adopt me. I would also try to get the article: Kartick Chandra Paul republished as it was deleted when I was blocked. But mainly I would be editing and sometimes, when I am ready, create some articles which are notable and good enough to be on Wikipedia. I have created a draft about Kartick Chandra Paul in Simple Wikipedia; https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kartick_Chandra_Paul. However I do not know how to use infoboxes in simple Wikipedia, thus did not create one but I have tried many time but fail; seaa history. Thank you for your time and I hope you are willing to approve my unblock request. CactusMunch Yum o.o 01:35, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

(Non-administrator comment) Good day to you Cactus0rme, I am not an administrator so I'm unable to review your request, however I'm simply giving my 2 cents, as per Yamla's comments, Wikipedia is a volunteer website, meaning no one is forced to or has to respond to your unblock request, you'll just need to be patient whilst an admin looks over your unblock request, check out the Guide to appealing blocks page to get a good idea of how to make a good request, that gives your request the best possible chance of succeeding should the reviewing administrator agree. Pinging admins also isn't the best idea, as it conflicts with the aforementioned volunteer statement above, give it some time and an admin will eventually get around to reviewing your request, just make sure you read through the relevant pages on how to make a good request. --AutisticAndrew 00:42, 13 June 2024 (UTC)

Per Yamla's comment below: There have been far too many issues in far too little time for us to consider an unblock at this stage. Additionally, this request doesn't convince me that you fully understand what the issue with your conduct was. --Blablubbs (talk) 01:59, 23 June 2024 (UTC)

Confirmed sockpuppetry, matching jpgordon's findings above. There's no reasonable chance anyone will unblock you at this time. Your only real option is WP:SO which requires six months with zero edits. If you make no further edits (with this or any other account), that would mean waiting until at least 2024-12-21. You've been significantly abusive over your many accounts. --Yamla (talk) 10:01, 21 June 2024 (UTC)

Request reason:

Hello admins, I was wondering if I would be unblocked now. I have followed Yamla's suggestion and waited 6 months. During that time, I edited simple english wiki. I have over 8000 edits edits there and created over 70 pages. I also have rollbacker rights on the wiki. I have understood the reason I have been blocked. I understand the using multiple accounts to harrass others is both hurtful to me and the users. I have read through through WP:Blocking_policy,WP:Contributing to Wikipedia,WP:FAQ/Editing and reading through Wikipedia policy and guidelines. I promise not to repeat it again. If I am unblocked I will try to be a better human being and be compassionate about others. Thank you.--Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 11:49, 27 December 2024 (UTC)

  • @Spicy: - how do you feel about a possible unblock? PhilKnight (talk) 15:46, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
    • I'm still not impressed by someone whose reaction to a minor conflict with other editors is to create multiple attack accounts. And I notice that this account has managed to get itself indeffed on two other wikis. But you should take this as an opinion and not an iron-clad refusal of an unblock. If you want to, go ahead. Spicy (talk) 22:28, 27 December 2024 (UTC)
The block on bugwiki was already discussed on meta for using the wrong language. On commons, I think they said I copied the action of kne of my sockpuppets that was already blocked. You can see my comments on my commons talk page

Your submission at Articles for creation: Liu Qingyang (January 9)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Prince of Erebor were:
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
The comment the reviewer left was:
Cactisisme, this draft looks promising. However, not every claim in the article is currently sourced. Please note that every sentence in a biographical article needs to be supported by a citation. You might also want to review MOS:BIO for guidance on the proper format for writing a biography. —
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

There are currently more than 1700 pending submissions to review, with more than 900 of them pending for at least four weeks, so it is necessary to be patient. Absolute junk or absolutely immaculate articles tend to go through fairly quickly, but for other articles that require more scrutiny, there's a lot of work for not a large number of people. There is something wrong

"Nigger Toe" is a real name for Brazil nut. If that's the case, why do the pages "Nigger toe", "Nigger toes", and "Nigger Toes" exist? I only wanted you to request this page because there wasn't a singular phrase with the uppercase "T". Kjjj6uhhhhh (talk) 17:26, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

@Kjjj6uhhhhh It's a blacklisted name, so I can't create the page. Cactus🌵 spiky ouch 22:21, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
@Cactusisme, I think you probably shouldn't have created many of the redirects suggested by this editor. If you check their talk page history, you can see that they've been disruptively creating new redirects as their main activity here, even after being warned about it and having had them repeatedly deleted.
@Kjjj6uhhhhh, if you're here to help Wikipedia and not to troll us, there are so many more helpful things you can do than fiddling with redirects. I can help you find something useful to do. Can you tell me why you decided to create new redirects in the first place? I want to know why you got interested in that so I can help you find something you'd like doing. -- asilvering (talk) 22:22, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
