Question from Mr.Sicence (17:51, 30 November 2025)

Hello I’m trying to add a photo to the article RB21 if you know that one. How do you add one? --Mr.Sicence (talk) 17:51, 30 November 2025 (UTC)

@Mr.Sicence, you can upload photos to Wikipedia or commons using the WP:FUW, make sure you have the correct copyrights. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 00:45, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

You can add a template through syntax like this: Example, which outputs
This is an example of a template. For help with templates, see Help:Template.

Question from Chuzosho (08:42, 1 December 2025)

My first article on Vacant lot of Cabbages - work of art, is published and has been through a round of editing - so far so good. Can you help please: For reasons i don't understand, if you type in vacant lot of cabbages into google it takes you to my talk page not to the wiki article. have i inadvertently set it up to do this? your help would be appreciated many thanks. Chuzosho --Chuzosho (talk) 08:42, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

Searching "Vacant lot of cabbages" doesn't show your talk page or your article, which is normal. User talk pages are not indexed, nor new pages that have not been marked as patrolled yet (and yours hasn't). --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 22:44, 1 December 2025 (UTC)

How do I message on wikipedia. It's different than talk page? Also what is trout fish whacked? It redirected me to the talk page. But is it rude? It says don't take it seriously. Unsure if professional on wiki. Thanks! new to this ~2025-31939-01 (talk) 19:21, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
@~2025-31939-01 (talk page stalker) You can add a message exactly how you just did =) It is the same as an article talk page. A trout is to tell someone they made a mistake, but in a nice way. For the most part, people are professional on Wikipedia, but it really depends. I am a mix, as I believe being unprofessional can promote a tighter community bound, which helps the overall goal of creating a better Encyclopedia. It really depends on what you want and who you are talking to. Hope that helps =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 19:27, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
thank u, you are absolutely awesome! ~2025-31939-01 (talk) 19:29, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Removing "unassessed" article classification

Thanks a lot for the fix in Equestrian Portrait of Prince Balthasar Charles. But my doubt still remains. Can I (should I) have done what you did? Or just posted in the talk page as I did? Documentation on how to do this was not easy to find. Jp1008 (talk) 13:55, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

Anybody can change article ratings to anything they want (besides GA or FA), it's only a problem if someone objects, see WP:BRD. You've improved the article beyond a stub, but it could still use more references than 3 (and 1 unreliable). --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 19:35, 2 December 2025 (UTC)

A cup of coffee for you!

Hi there! I keep seeing you around everywhere; from reverting vandalism, to answering EFFP requests, and reviewing AFC drafts, you’re doing everything! Keep up the good work and enjoy this coffee to keep you going. Also, congrats on 9k edits! :) - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 03:12, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for the coffee! This'll be my 9,000th edit, reply to some WikiLove! Also thanks for using WikiShield, even though you created the AntiVandal logos.. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 03:18, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
That might have been the plan, for this to be your 9,000th edit that is. And I love WikiShield! It’s basically just AntiVandal, but I also can access wiki notifications. Still trying to figure out how to get the AI thing to work… - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 03:23, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
@Illusion Flame Do you have Ollama? The AI thing isn't great but it can be helpful for UAA. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 22:15, 3 December 2025 (UTC)
I downloaded it on my MacBook but couldn’t figure out how to set it up correctly to work with WS. - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 00:13, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
I just got a MacBook a few days ago for work so I can test out that the instructions actually work when i get home =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 00:39, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
Sounds good, no rush. :) - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 00:39, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
@Illusion Flame Got it working.
On your MacBook open the terminal and then follow these steps:
 1. Type nano ~/.bashrc (this will open a text editor)
 2. Paste export OLLAMA_ORIGINS="https://*.wikipedia.org,https://*.wikimedia.org" OLLAMA_HOST=127.0.0.1:11435 into the editor
 3. Press control+x, y, enter (this will save the file)
 4. Run source ~/.bashrc && ollama serve in the terminal
If you get an error saying "address already in use", then just increment the number at the end of the IP address (11435 for example) by one until you find an open port. Remember this number.
Ollama should now be running.
 • In WikiShield, under the "Server URL" section, add http://localhost followed by a colon (:) and the port number from above (so for port 11435 the URL would be http://localhost:11435)
 • Now hit "test connection" and it should say connected.
Make sure you download a model (as simple as selecting a model in Ollama and just sending a random message), once you do you can hit "refresh models" and it should appear.
I should warn you however, I use WikiShield on my PC and I have a 5060TI 16GB GPU, which is good for LLMs, and my GPU sometimes will max out using a 16b model. I have absolutely no clue how well it will perform on MacOS. Additionally, the edit analysis is kind of sucky right now. It will be a lot better in the coming version, but just as a fair warning lmao.
Hope that helped =) LuniZunie ツ(talk) 02:06, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you again (and sorry to @Pro-anti-airfor clogging his TP) but when I turned it on I received this error in the model selection tab: "No models found. Please install models using: ollama pull [model-name]" Where do I need to use that? - 🔥𝑰𝒍𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑭𝒍𝒂𝒎𝒆 (𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌)🔥 02:36, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
@Illusion Flame Whoops sorry I missed this, it is saying this in Ollama?
Nevermind I found it in the code, yeah you just have to follow the instructions below (as in send a random message to a model, make sure it is one with a download symbol next to it and NOT a cloud symbol), it takes a bit to install. If you want to know which models might be best to install, you can check it out here. LuniZunie ツ(talk) 03:26, 4 December 2025 (UTC)
@Illusion Flame I usually install the model just by entering a random message in a an undownload model. If you want, we can move this discussion over to my talk pahe LuniZunie ツ(talk) 03:28, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

The Tenant of Wildfell Hall

Indeed, my redirecting of the disambiguation page was admittedly a bit of a bodge. For consistency though, I think we should either restore the previous hatnote link from The Tenant of Wildfell Hall to the disambiguation page, or else delete the disambiguation page as not needed. I think the new hatnote I added is sufficient, however I accept it might be a borderline case for WP:TWOOTHER, so I'm not too bothered either way. Let me know your thoughts. --Jameboy (talk) 15:28, 5 December 2025 (UTC)

Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Administrator Elections - Voting Phase

The voting phase of the December 2025 administrator elections has started and will continue until Dec 15 at 23:59 UTC. You can participate in the voting phase at Wikipedia:Administrator elections/December 2025/Voting phase.

As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:

 • Dec 9–15 - SecurePoll voting phase
 • Scrutineering phase

In the voting phase, the candidate subpages close to public questions and discussion, and everyone who qualifies to vote has a week to use the SecurePoll software to vote, which uses a secret ballot. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's vote total during the election. The suffrage requirements are similar to those at RFA.

Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for a few days, perhaps longer. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page (this is a good page to watchlist), and transcluded to the main election page. In order to be granted adminship, a non-recall candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and a minimum of 20 support votes. Recall candidates must achieve 55.0% support. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ("crat chats").

Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

Question from Terry625972 (02:44, 9 December 2025)

Hi! May I ask, what is good tone? Thanks! --Terry625972 (talk) 02:44, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey @Terry625972, welcome to Wikipedia! Articles should be written in an encyclopedic tone, from a neutral point of view. Wikipedia is a summary of what independant sources have to say about the subject, and should not give original research. When communicating with fellow editors, it is important to remain CIVIL. @Bigsteve27, you can upload a photo using the file upload wizard, read and follow the instructions there. You can add photos like this: , which outputs .
In infoboxes, you can just add Example.png to the | image= parameter. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 18:52, 9 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Krijama19 (17:35, 10 December 2025)

Hi I am really struggling to get my first page published. Not at all understanding the rationale. I see other pages structured the same way so what am I doing wrong? --Krijama19 (talk) 17:35, 10 December 2025 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) @Krijama19 Hi! I see a few issues with your draft. For example, I see that you cite Wikipedia; Wikipedia does not consider Wikipedia reliable, so we don't cite it. If you need further help, I would suggest looking at Help:Your first article. Hope that helps, LuniZunie(talk) 02:26, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
Thanks for this. I think I got confused on citing wiki vs referencing to other pages. Like he is listed in other places as the US Atty for Alaska so thought I was cross linking to those pages. The main issue is they are saying he is not notable enough. I have a lot of other articles but how many make him notable? Krijama19 (talk) 19:29, 11 December 2025 (UTC)
@Krijama19 Notability is more based on how many sources talk about the person, and what those sources are. It really is a case by case basis and there is not definite amount. LuniZunie(talk) 19:35, 11 December 2025 (UTC)

Request on 16:25:46, 12 December 2025 for assistance on AfC submission by Hank Nusslein

Hi. I have questions about why you rejected the page I created about the author Marshall Jon Fisher. You said that it resembled a resume more than an encyclopedia entry, and that it needed more secondary sources, rather than "self-published sources." But I don't understand. After my first rejection, I studied the biography pages of many other authors, and used them as a template. And I don't think any of my sources are "self-published." Could you help me by pointing out which ones you think are?

It seems to me that the page I created looks just like hundreds, or even thousands, of other authors' bio pages. As one example, compare with the entry for "Burkhard Bilger." If you could show me how that page uses better sources, or is less like a resume, it would be a big help to me.

Thanks very much for your time. I am truly trying to figure out how to make this work.

Hank Nusslein

Hank Nusslein (talk) 16:25, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

You are free to resubmit if you disagree, and another reviewer will see if it's fine. It's just that there is a list of things they have done, and most of the sources are there, rather than WP:SIGCOV about the article subject. Also, the second sentence in "early life and education" does not have an inline citation. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 20:02, 12 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey, could u tell me how u make a page (ps i made one like an hour ago but forgot) --Gfroi (talk) 17:04, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Gfroi (07:40, 16 December 2025)

Hey, I'm working on a draft and I need to add an info box, I already got the template and the whole code of the info box, but the image I got on Wikipedia Commons just shows as a link, I tried pasting the commons link, still a link, the actual link, still a link, It never shows the image. --Gfroi (talk) 07:40, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Hey! You can add images uploaded to commons like this: , which outputs:
example caption
You can add images to infoboxes with the | image = paramater, with Example.jpg, without the File: prefix. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 16:46, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
what link do i upload do i copy paste the link or use the commons link? Gfroi (talk) 16:48, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
No, if you use the link, it will become a link. When you upload a photo, you should use the file name, in the manner I showed above. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 16:50, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
could u explain that? Gfroi (talk) 16:54, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
For example, you decide you want to upload a photo to commmons. You click upload, you upload your image, and you decide on a file name, say, c:File:Screenshot of WikiShield.png. To add the image to a page, you would add what I showed above: "", which outputs the image with 100px size. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 16:58, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
so i just take the name of the image from commons and put it in the code? Gfroi (talk) 17:00, 16 December 2025 (UTC)
Yup! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 17:00, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

The report is probably not a false positive . Looking at 735, it tags things when the owner is changed. It was changed off of disallow because of false positives. All it does is tag changes, good or bad, which is what it was originally made for. I am going to close it as moot. 45dogs (they/them) (talk page) (contributions) 23:20, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

You said my link didn’t work? Works fine for me?? What am I doing wrong? Ridunians (talk) 16:23, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

@Ridunians: For a person to appear on that list, they need to be notable, meaning they already have an article about them. A single source isn't enough. If you think the person is notable, you can create the article as a draft using the WP:Article wizard. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 17:45, 18 December 2025 (UTC)

Mentor welcome templates

Hi, Pro-anti-air, I notice you have been welcoming mentees to Wikipedia; thanks for that, and bravo! I just signed up as a mentor recently, and found the sole welcome template, Mentor welcome, wanting. So, I created Welcome mentee and have started to use that one. Feel free to use it as well, and let me know how you like it. I am active on the Welcoming committee, and I think we need a selection of mentor templates available to us to choose from; spare ones like Welcome, graphical ones for some users like Welcome to Wikipedia, and others. In some cases, it might be sufficient simply to add a mentor or Homepage link to some of the existing welcome templates. Feel free to add any ideas you have on this to the template talk page, or contact me on my Talk page. Thanks! Mathglot (talk) 12:34, 14 December 2025 (UTC)

I remember searching for a template named that, only to find out it was under Mentor welcome. I added it to Twinkle, only to find out it was already there by default... I'll add your new template too! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 02:22, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Thanks; if you do, please add Welcome mentee brief as well. Thanks again! Mathglot (talk) 02:30, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

If I wanted to see if a template was already there, or needed to be added, where do I look? Mathglot (talk) 02:31, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

Wel, the "wel" module has the welcome templates sorted by categories, and I guess you could ask at WT:TW, if this is what you meant? And you can add custom welcome templates at Wikipedia:Twinkle/Preferences § welcome. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 03:27, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Was that a typo? Module:Wel does not exist. Mathglot (talk) 03:46, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Oh, I meant under Twinkle: "Warn, Wel, ARV ... " I call those modules, sorry if that was unclear! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 03:48, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Sorry if I am being dense, but I don't see any pages like those listed under Twinkle. Mathglot (talk) 03:52, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
That's cause the Twinkle modules are in MediaWiki: namespace. Ex: MediaWiki:Gadget-twinklewelcome.js, which states "Welcome module" at the top. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 03:56, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
Ah, thanks; that was the missing link. :-) Mathglot (talk) 03:59, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted

Hi Pro-anti-air, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.

This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:

You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! Sohom (talk) 14:56, 21 December 2025 (UTC)

Question from Yukit00kazaki (23:52, 22 December 2025)

Hi there, just made my first edit to an actor's filmography and I wanted to check if the film's need to be ordered by release month within said date and if so, is it based off the USA release date or the first release date?

I apologise if this is an obvious question, is there a place I should look first before asking you directly? --Yukit00kazaki (talk) 23:52, 22 December 2025 (UTC)

Thanks for asking @Yukit00kazaki, looking at the article, I believe it is in alphabetical order. I could be wrong. Another place you could ask is at relevant WikiProjects, the Teahouse (which is great for newcomers), or the help desk. Don't worry about questions being too obvious! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 00:06, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
Amazing, thank you :) ~2025-42375-77 (talk) 00:07, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
@~2025-42375-77: Is this you logged out? I would recommend you logging in, as it could be seen as confusing or misleading. Thanks! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 00:09, 23 December 2025 (UTC)
Indeed it was; my apologies, I opened it through the email app instead of through the web browser on my phone. I'm logged in now across both email and web browser. Yukit00kazaki (talk) 00:10, 23 December 2025 (UTC)

New pages patrol January–February 2026 Backlog drive

January–February 2026 Backlog Drive | New pages patrol

New Pages Patrol is hosting a one-time, two-month experimental backlog drive aimed at reducing the backlog. This will be a combo drive: both articles and redirects will earn points.

 • The drive will run from 1 January to 28 February 2026.
 • The drive is divided into two phases. Participants may take part in either phase or across both phases, depending on availability.
 • Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled during the drive.
 • Two-month drive-exclusive barnstars will be awarded to eligible participants.
 • Each article review earns 1 point, while each redirect review earns 0.2 points.
 • Streak awards will be granted based on consistently meeting weekly point thresholds.
 • Barnstars will also be awarded for re-reviewing articles previously reviewed by other patrollers during the drive.
 • Interested in participating? Sign up here.

Season's greetings!

I am sorry to say that I sorely disagree with your username—you can’t be both, and I fall squarely into the pro-air camp.[FBDB] Now that that’s out of the way, thank you for your humour and great work over the past six months (you’ve only been here since May!?), and congrats on getting NPP! I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season, and I’ll see you in 2026 :D.

GoldRomean (talk) 19:11, 26 December 2025 (UTC)

Thank you! Now as much as it pains me to say this, your interpretation is wrong[FBDB]← Right back at ya!
It's meant to be read one at a time, not all together. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 01:07, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
Though, I must thank you for the reading material (ANI thread). Have a golden year! --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 01:54, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
Whoops, apologies, that'll teach me to stop making assumptions. And how about existing downstage? Jump right into the audience, maybe do some crowdsurfing while you're at it ;). GoldRomean (talk) 01:32, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
Ah yes, to my adoring fans. You can do a lot of things without air resistance, you know? ;) you should try it. --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 04:09, 30 December 2025 (UTC)
Millions of them! Perhaps one day I shall try, but as said above, I'm quite fond of air at the moment ;). HNY! GoldRomean (talk) 00:11, 31 December 2025 (UTC)

Oh, and also...

The Adoptee Graduation Diploma
Whilst we’re here, we might as well make it official. I think developing a whole new anti-vandalism tool (along with two also-amazing Wikipedians) more than qualifies you as an experienced editor that does not need a tutorial on how to do things like warn people whilst doing RCP; thus, I invoke my right to ignore all the rules and officially declare you an adoptee grad. Questions, of course, are still always welcome, shall you have them :). GoldRomean (talk) 19:11, 26 December 2025 (UTC)
Thank you, thank you! I bow, and exit stage left. or right? --pro-anti-air ––>(talk)<–– 01:07, 29 December 2025 (UTC)
