Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hokkien phonology, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Dongshan and Longhai. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Teonam Dialect

Hi there, I realized that you have just created Teoyeo dialect , but you missed out Teonam dialect, are you able to create new page or dialect on this one?

Replies on : Are you sure about 會 ei6 (not ŏi) and di7 do7 (not 底塊 tī-kò or 底囝 tī-kiáⁿ)? Especially the tone of do. Can you give a character with the same sound? QuestionableAnswers (talk) 13:44, 29 May 2025 (UTC)

Yes, both also can be used in Swatow dialect. Swatow is a big city, so it has varies dialect mix it up all together. 會 ei6 and ŏi also can be usable , because if you travel down to Kak-chee 甲子,you will hear a hybrid langauge of Chaoshan aka Swatow dialect mix with Haklau Min already a mix of Hailufeng dialect and Swatow dialect. If you have time, its good to have wikipedia on Kak-chee dialect 甲子话.

Otherwise a Huilai dialect

Sources for Southern Min in Hong Kong

Greetings @QuestionableAnswers, a friend of mine has recently shared with me some info that perhaps you might be interested in. It covers the ecology of Southern Min in Hong Kong, specifically Quanzhou Hokkien, Teochew, and Hai Lok Hong in Hong Kong. Here are some links to some sources regarding it: Lord Wilson Heritage Trust, Google Books, Amazon, Chung Hwa Book Co. Perhaps, the details in them may fuel some wiki articles.
