Q. Why did you remove my requested move pages!?
I requested for several pages to be moved to a page and yet you removed it!!! Why?
- A. Did you read the text at the top of the edit window for Wikipedia:Requested moves/Current discussions?
| Do not attempt to edit this list manually; a bot will automatically update the page soon after the {{subst:Requested move}} template is added to the discussion on the relevant talk page. The entry is removed automatically soon after the discussion is closed. To make a change to an entry, make the change on the linked talk page. |

Q. Why don't you run this on the Cluster?
- A. I invested about a month into figuring out how to run this on my Windows machine. It wasn't easy to figure out all the details. It would probably take me another month to figure out how to run it on "the cluster" and I have more important things to do than transfer a working process from one platform to another. I seem to recall there have been times when all the bots on the "cluster" were down, but my bots were still cooking. I'm not the only one who's questioned WMF Labs Toolforge reliability either.

Q. Why do you keep removing the notice of the title change?
Why do you keep removing the notice of the title change for the Bugaboo Scrub Fire? StormHunterBryante5467 (talk) 17:54, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- A. You didn't follow the Template:Requested move instructions or the instructions given at WIkipedia:Requested moves#Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves. – wbm1058 (talk) 18:20, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- @StormHunterBryante5467: You did not use
{{subst:Requested move}}at Talk:Bugaboo Scrub Fire#Propose to change title. This means that it is not a valid move request. You should not have made this edit yourself;{{Requested move notice}}should only be added by RMCD bot, and it does so in response to a valid move request on the talk page. These two mistakes mean that the bot was acting correctly. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 19:26, 22 February 2025 (UTC)- oh alright, sorry about that, but is the proposal still up for the title change? StormHunterBryante5467 (talk) 19:36, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- Not until you use
{{subst:Requested move}}at Talk:Bugaboo Scrub Fire#Propose to change title, as described at WP:RSPM. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 20:00, 22 February 2025 (UTC)- Alright, I put it in the talk page, is that good? StormHunterBryante5467 (talk) 01:30, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- OK, now we're into the territory where I attempt to explain to our more experienced participants how to fix malformed requests submitted by others. So I just fixed it for you. And now we just need to wait a few hours for my bot to decide that's it safe to put the notice back up on the article page without risk of edit warring there, since the bot has already removed the notice you posted, twice. I named that template User:RMCD bot/subject notice in an effort to prevent issues like this from happening, but, alas, the crowd wouldn't tolerate a user template being used in article space. – wbm1058 (talk) 11:32, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
- Now that 24 hours have passed since the bot first edited Bugaboo Scrub Fire to remove the notice that was placed there out-of-process, it's put the notice back up on that page. – wbm1058 (talk) 12:46, 23 February 2025 (UTC)

Q. Why do you revert my edits?
Why do you revert my edits on the Millennium Stadium article? Jorge906 (talk) 22:40, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) @Jorge906: Same answer as thread immediately above, but for "Talk:Bugaboo Scrub Fire#Propose to change title", read "Talk:Millennium Stadium". --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:51, 22 February 2025 (UTC)
Q. I made a mistake!
Silambarasan --> Silambarasan TR using requested move template NOT Silambarsan TR (without last 'a'). The bot keeps reverting back to my mistake. DareshMohan (talk) 04:57, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
- RMCD bot (talk · contribs) is a bot, which merely uses the information at Talk:Silambarasan#Requested move 5 June 2025 exactly as it is written. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 10:06, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
- A. Your mistake needs to be fixed in two places. Your initial fix only corrected the spelling in the text of the request, but not the RM template. Your later fix took care of the template as well, resolving the issue.
