Thank you very much for your message. I did my very best to follow policy and did infact object to the deletion on the following grounds. However I am more than happy if someone writes for me in English as I have mentions in other language wiki's due to the events occurring in Eastern Europe. Please see my objection here:

Contested deletion

Object to speedy deletion under CSD G11 – not promotional, encyclopedic content remains:

Respectfully, this draft does not meet CSD G11 because it is not meant to be promotional and would not require a "fundamental rewrite" to be encyclopedic.

1. The same facts and person are found on French Wiki: https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Famille_von_Rosen

2. The draft content is based on verifiable facts from reliable, independent sources that include multiple mainstream media outlets (e.g. lsm.lv, LA.LV, Zemeslode) and U.S. regional news (East Idaho News, KSL.com) which cover the claims, historical family connection, and cultural heritage preservation efforts since 2023.

3. These are not routine announcements, rather they are feature stories on a transatlantic basis with official government involvement.

4. Cēsis Municipality officially signed with him a 5-year Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation on the castle's restoration, public use, digitization, and heritage preservation. This is directly confirmed on the official municipal website cesis.lv published on February 25, 2026.

5. The draft uses neutral phrasing (e.g., attributes claims to media, notes controversy in some reports, explicitly states the castle remains under municipal ownership, limits MoU to cooperation without implying control). Any perceived promotional tone has been minimized through revisions (e.g., no boosterism about "desire" or achievements beyond sourced facts).

8. If notability is in question, then merging to Leilstraupe Castle and Famille von Rosen with a short section on descendant involvement would be preferable to outright deletion, per WP:ATD.
