Could you expound on your concern expressed in a recent edit at Ghost of Kyiv? This text was removed from the article lead:

The Ghost of Kyiv is part of Ukrainian online propaganda that has largely focused on heroes and martyrs which has in turn, dramatized tales of Ukrainian fortitude and Russian aggression.^[1]

When that was removed, your edit summary read, "This isn't what the source says, nor is it how a lead section works". As far as I can tell the text removed is pretty close though, perhaps too close if anything. The source writes...

Instead, Ukraine’s online propaganda is largely focused on its heroes and martyrs, characters who help dramatize tales of Ukrainian fortitude and Russian aggression

What did you mean by that edit summary? Am I overlooking some obvious WP:SYNTH or something here? I also missed the specific issue with the lead. --N8 04:59, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

The particular text was added with this edit, where the user says that they "reworded the introduction to better reflect the reality of the situation."

The source indeed starts with saying that the Ghost of Kyiv may be a myth, but later on it changes its subject to the online propaganda of Ukraine, and notes the quote you've mentioned above. Problem: it doesn't say the Ghost of Kyiv is a part of it, which was added to the lead, it only makes a generalization of Ukraine's online campaign.

A lead section, according to the second sentence of MOS:LEAD, "serves as an introduction to the article and a summary of its most important contents", and adding things in the lead that aren't mentioned in the body really isn't how that section works. ~Styyx^{Talk? ^-^} 14:11, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

Since you aren't a part of the autopatrolled group, every page you create—regardless of the namespace it's in—has a button that shows up for reviewers and admins that says "Mark this page as patrolled". Hello again Chidgk1! My hometown is relatively close to Hamitabat (the blurry and grainy picture in the article is mine xD), so I tend to come back to it from time to time. I have never reviewed a GAN, but was planning to, and I guess a mostly finished GAN—and one related to Turkey—seems quite the perfect opportunity to start.

The GAN seems quite confusing to me with the table. From what I can understand, the original reviewer wasn't able to finish it, and there have been two others who have provided a second opinion (most issues have been addressed as far as I can see). Hello, Styyx,

An essential step in the process of deletion on Wikipedia is notifying the page creator that an article, template or category has been tagged for deletion, whether CSD, PROD or AFD/TFD/CFD/etc. You need to do this every time you tag a page for deletion. I see you use Twinkle, which is great, so please check your Twinkle Preferences and make sure a) the "Notify page creator" box is checked and b) go into the CSD section and make sure ALL of the speedy deletion criteria are checked off. If you do this, then Twinkle will post these notices for you. But if Twinkle doesn't, then you must go and inform the page creator that you tagged the page for deletion. Content creators build this project and they should be informed if one of their pages will be deleted, especially if there is an ongoing problem, they need to know about it before they create future articles with similar problems. Also, Twinkle has a feature that will create deletion logs for you which some editors find very handy to both track the taggings that they do and, if a tag has been removed, learn if there is a problem in how they are judging some pages. Hello Liz! The box is automatically ticked when I load TW, and apparently sometimes it fails to properly notify the creator? I hadn't noticed this actually. Yesterday I CSD'ed and PROD'ed a few articles, all of which seem to have sent a notification: 1, 2, 3, 4. The article I just CSD'ed also sent a notification. Notifying the page creator is not required; it is strongly encouraged, but then you must go and inform the page creator (emphasis added) and the like are just flat-out wrong. Primefac (talk) 10:43, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Following this after seeing the note on Liz' page. Liz, I didn't realize you have pings turned off, but a few times in the past that you've made posts like these on talkpages I watch, I've {{tpw}}'d that you should start a discussion at the village pump if you think deletion-tag notifications should be required across the board. Okay, I'm wrong about "must" but I think there is a fine line between "should" and "strongly encouraged". I feel strongly about this so I guess I added the emphasis on my own, I'm sorry about that but we have a problem with some long-time editors who don't use Twinkle and never inform editors about any deletion taggings at all, not PRODs, AFDs or CSDs. It was so common, I went to Fastily and asked him if he could alter his bot to inform editors who were not notified that a page they created had been PROD'd so that's happening now and I believe SDZeroBot informs page creators when one of their articles has been nominated at AFD when the nominator neglects to inform them. But we shouldn't need bots to take care of actions that page taggers and nominators should do on their own. I don't see any negatives to informing editors about deletion taggings but I will curb my use of the word "must". It's just so easy with Twinkle, there is no reason I can think of NOT to post a notification.

As far as your settings go, Styyx, it sounds like you have things set up, so I apologize if I came on strongly, as if you hadn't taken care of things. I know that there are a few criteria, like G7s, that Twinkle, for some reason, fails to post notifications on even if you have checked off all of the criteria in your Preferences. I guess the developers concluded that if an editor has blanked a page, they don't need to be informed that the page has been deleted, but, as I say, I would say that it doesn't matter what the criteria is. I wouldn't be surprised if there are other criteria that Twinkle just skips as well. It handles things fine most of the times. Liz ^{Read! Talk!} 22:02, 24 March 2022 (UTC)

Hi... Thanks for your updates to Tokat Airport.
It's generally best to say something once and only once on a wikipedia page. As an example, there is a side panel which mentions the runway, its direction and its length in metres and feet. This type of side panel is standard for (almost) all airports on English language wikipedia. Because this side panel already contains the length of the runway, stating the runway length in the History section becomes repetition. Yes, we could repeat it, but we are using more words than necessary to give out information. Thus, maybe better to keep the runway data in just the side panel - in the same place as all other airports, and remove it from the History section. The History section is important - but it should be for information notable about the History rather than anything else. Equally, information relating to the History of an airport should go into the History section, instead of both the Introduction and the History section.
Additionally, airport pages on English language wikipedia do not usually show flight frequencies - it is much too difficult to keep this correct and current when airlines keep changing the number of flights on different routes around the world per week. As an example, the page for Istanbul Airport doesn't contain any flight frequencies - unless they are of some very special significance. You can see the guidelines for airport pages in English language Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Airports - if you think airport frequency should be part of standardised info in airport pages, then consider raising a discussion at WP:AIRPORT Pmbma (talk) 21:09, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
