- Pamzeis I'll get back to this ASAP, but it looks like it might take a bit longer than I anticipated because a lot of things, both on- and off-wiki, are happening. Want a muffin as an apology? :) ~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 12:31, 8 February 2022 (UTC)
Hakan Yanar / Hakan Teoman Yanar
Merhaba,
— Preceding unsigned comment added by Muge.seymen (talk • contribs) 17:03, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

WP:AFC Helper News
Hello! I wanted to drop a quick note for all of our AFC participants; nothing huge and fancy like a newsletter, but a few points of interest.
- AFCH will now show live previews of the comment to be left on a decline.
- The template {{db-afc-move}} has been created - this template is similar to {{db-move}} when there is a redirect in the way of an acceptance, but specifically tells the patrolling admin to let you (the draft reviewer) take care of the actual move.
Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way? Whether you're one of our top reviewers, or haven't reviewed in a while, I want to thank you for helping out in the past and in the future. Cheers, Primefac, via MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 16:00, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

Request for Help
Hi Styyx. Thank you for "rescuing sources" on my new article, Continental Divide Trail Society. I assume this means that with the information you added to the reference links, if the original webpages move or are deleted, that the link will go to an archive? If that is true, that is awesome, and thank you! (I just ran into two reference links that I only added a couple of weeks ago -- and they are already dead because the website is being redone.) I wanted to apply the "rescue sources" to my other articles. I looked up "rescue sources" on Wikipedia and didn't find any information. I am wondering if you could teach me how to do this, or else run this program on my other Wiki articles, which are: Pacific Crest Trail Association and Lowell Thomas Travel Writing Awards. Thank you! Geophiliac (talk) 14:35, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Oops. this is embarassing: the correct name of one of my new pages (as written in my post above) is correctly: Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Awards. Geophiliac (talk) 14:45, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hello Geophiliac! Archiving links indeed means that if the original link is deleted, there is still a backup. You need to add the following parameters to the {{Cite web}} (or one similar) template:
|archive-date = |archive-url = |url-status =. You can get an archive link via this website and add everything manually, but if you think that that's too much work (which it is xD), then you can use IABot. Make sure the "Add archives to all non-dead references (Optional)" box is ticked. The bot takes some time to make the edit, generally 30-90 seconds, though if you want to archive 200 links at once like I did here, the waiting time can be around 7-8 minutes. I'd strongly recommend using it however. ~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 17:31, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Thanks so much! I will try to implement that -- I've never run a bot before, but I am interested in learning this stuff! Thanks again! -- Geophiliac (talk) 23:37, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
Just a followup -- I successfully used it on another page that I did not start, but am interested in helping to maintain -- and it worked and was very easy! Thanks so much for this info. What a valuable app! Geophiliac (talk) 02:01, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
DR Congo Football-Related Articls
Thanks so much for approving the 2021-22 Linafoot. If it's not too much to ask, could you approve related articles (they are all teams in the league that do not have pages), US Panda B52, Etoile de Kivu, JS Kinshasa, and AS Kuya Sport? I know they are all stubs, but I will improve them soon. Thanks again, LasVegasLights33 (talk) 01:35, 24 February 2022 (UTC) (forget to login)

On 4 March 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Perfect Pear, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Draft:Muharrem Aslan
Hi Styyx, My draft/article Muharrem Aslan has been declined. I don’t know what to do in this stage because I don’t have any other sources than I provided ones at the moment. SBS Radio is this not a reliable source? There are all information about Muharrem Aslan on this radio interview. and The Blue Mountain Gazette other source that provided.
Kind Regards user:dreamboy3143— Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreamboy3143 (talk • contribs) 09:40, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
- Dreamboy3143 Relax; you don't need to send me all these messages, and I don't need the 15 notifications that come with them. Regarding the draft I declined, I still don't see how this person meets the general notability guideline. Both the SBS and The Blue Mountain sources aren't considered significant, as one is an interview and the other is only a mention of him.
- Also, I'd like to ask if you have any connection to the subject itself, given that your editing profile consists of almost solely edits to the particular draft. If so, then you'll have to disclose such conflict of interest. Thank you. ~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 12:23, 4 March 2022 (UTC)
Hi Styyx, Sorry about that. Yes it is about myself. How am I gonna create the conflict of interest please? Tekrar kusura bakmayın. Teşekkürler — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreamboy3143 (talk • contribs) 12:54, 4 March 2022 (UTC)

draft: Saadet IV Giray
Did you reject this without reading the Talk page? Are there better sources? If so, I would like to find them. Also, the link to Giray-Ilim has just been blocked, I guess because of the war. Benjamin Trovato (talk) 03:26, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
Shiraz Khan Basak & Co. article
Hi, Hope that you are doing great. i have updated Draft:Shiraz Khan Basak & Co. with sources and information. Can you please review the article for move to main space. thank you in advance. কৌতূহলী প্রযুক্তিবিদ (talk) 03:59, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
Ingrian grammar
Hi, I think I'm not familiar enough with how this works, but considering the article concerns a spoken language (as such the information given should be regarded as verifiable with the speakers, much like Finnish grammar or Komi grammar) and since almost all information given (with the exception of some phonological information, which is referenced in the main article) has been sourced within the further reading, does this really qualify as an unsourced article? Or is it customary to use "bibliography"/"sources" rather than "further reading" instead? Thadh (talk) 20:48, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Thadh (Took me a bit long to write this :D). I advise you to carry over the references from the main article to the draft whenever possible. I'd also love to see {{Sfn}} (shortened footnote template) being used considering it's referenced by the two books. The negative side of simply having a "Bibliography" section at the very end with a few sources—without footnotes—is that it's impossible to know which text (or table) is sourced by which book and on which page of the book the information can be found. The featured article of the day of 6 March uses the Sfn template for sourcing. If you need any guidance or help, you can take a look at that article. I myself will check on that status as much as possible. As I said in the comment, the topic is notable; and I would immediately move it back to the mainspace when the sourcing gets fixed. ~StyyxTalk? ^-^ 21:03, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
- It seems a little pointless to source general information like inflectional suffixes inline though, that information could be found in any book on the topic, and in all four that are given (of course, since there's dialectal variation, most sources won't fully agree as to the essive ending for instance, but that is covered by the introductory statement explaining the article is based on Junus' literary language, described in the grammar book linked first in the bibliography). I've given a few inline references for a little less general statements, does that look okay? Thadh (talk) 21:38, 9 March 2022 (UTC)
Proposed Deletion of "The Pakistan Daily" article
Hi. I saw that you have put a tag of Proposed Deletion on my article The Pakistan Daily stating that it needs reliable, independent coverage which I think it already got and I have added a few references as well. Pakistan Daily has been quoted and given coverage by Hindustan Times, Business Standard, The Indian Express and numerous other international media channels so it clearly shows that The Pakistan Daily is a renowned and trusted media channel which is used as a reliable news source by different international media channels. Thanks again. Jamalahmadpk (talk) 20:07, 10 March 2022 (UTC)
