June Backlog Drive is almost over!

Hi! Thanks for participating in the Articles for Creation June Backlog Drive! We've done amazing work so far, dropping the backlog by more than 2000 drafts already. We have around 4700 drafts outstanding, and we need your help to get that down to zero in 5 days. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to make this happen. A list of the pending drafts can be found at WP:AFCSORT, where you can select submissions in your area of interest. Thank you so much for your work so far, and happy reviewing! – DreamRimmer ■ 01:35, 25 June 2025 (UTC)

About your DCWC submission
Hey TheNuggeteer, thanks for your participation in the Developing Countries WikiContest! I wanted to let you know that I've declined your submission of Battle of Manupur's GAN review as it does not meet the criteria laid out in § Good article nomination reviews of the scoring rules. More specifically, the review was fairly short and did not demonstrate that you assessed the article against all of the good article criteria — a scan for copyright infringement and spot-checks for close paraphrasing were notably absent — making the review ineligible for points. Please let me or another one of the DCWC coordinators know if you have any questions. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 05:16, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

About your DCWC submissions
Hey TheNuggeteer, by consensus of the DCWC coordinators, your submissions of the GAN reviews for 1992 Flores earthquake and tsunami, Elections in El Salvador, and Sultan Kigab have been declined. Similar to the previous decline, we found that these reviews did not evidently assess the articles against all of the good article criteria, as laid out in the contest scoring rules. Your prose comments did not indicate consideration of criterion 4 (neutrality) and typically suggested only minor spelling or grammar fixes. Personally, I appreciate that fact that you're doing text–source integrity spot-checks, but they did not show that you had checked for close paraphrasing or any other kinds of copyright issues. For these reasons, we cannot accept these reviews for points in the DCWC. Please let us know if you have any questions about this. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 23:23, 12 August 2025 (UTC)
