Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Collaborationist Chinese Army, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nationalist China. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ  Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:57, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Amigao. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Amigao (talk) 11:13, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences Editing Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! Amigao (talk) 11:14, 27 April 2025 (UTC)

When adding citations, please ensure that it is clear which parts of the content the citation is supporting (see WP:INTEGRITY). You may need to add Template:Citation needed to account for the unsupported parts if you are adding a citation into an existing unsourced paragraph. If you are using a citation for multiple paragraphs, add the citation to the end of each paragraph. And it should go without saying that the content in the Wikipedia article must be present in the citation, especially if you are adding content (see WP:VERIFY, WP:OR, and WP:SYNTH).

Also review Wikipedia:Reliable sources; typically, self-published sources (WP:SELFPUB) are not reliable unless the author is a recognized as having notable expertise in the subject, and even then explicit attribution is ideal.

And since this is an English-language Wikipedia, it would be helpful if citations included English translations of titles, author, publisher names, etc. where possible.

Just looking at your recent edits to Republic of China Military Police (), there are instances of:

  • Unverified/partially verified content changes
  • Use of unreliable sources (eg. 360doc, clarisonic)
  • WP:OR where etymology is concerned.
  • Lost of cases of MOS:NOBOLD.

I suspect similar problems exist in your edits to other articles. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 20:10, 2 May 2025 (UTC)

Romanization

Hi @Tomw8911, please make sure you are using MOS:PINYIN when adding content to pages about Chinese history. I know that some older sources may use Wade-Giles or other systems, but Wikipedia policy is to use pinyin unless there's a clear consensus of modern historians that some other system should be used.
