V/H/S/Mixtape is an upcoming American found footage horror anthology film produced by Bloody Disgusting. The sequel to V/H/S/Halloween (2025), it is the ninth installment in the V/H/S franchise.[1] It is directed by Flying Lotus, Tobias Forge, Ernest Dickerson, RZA, David Moreau, and Renee Zhan.

The film will have its world premiere at Beyond Fest on September 30, 2026, and will be released by Shudder in the United States on October 9, 2026. A sequel, V/H/S: SCP, is scheduled for release in 2027.
Plot
The film is presented as an anthology of four films built into a narrative, which acts as its fifth film. Themed around music, audio, and rhythm, each short is linked together with the concept of footage, as every segment is from various VHS tapes that depict different scenarios of horror stories.

Production
In August 2026, it was announced that a ninth film titled V/H/S/Mixtape set to release on October 9, 2026.[2] Shudder announced that the film's streaming premiere takes place on that date during their Season of Screams horror movie marathon.[3] The movie's segments are directed by filmmakers Ernest Dickerson, Renee Zhan & David Moreau, rappers RZA & Flying Lotus, and Swedish musician Tobias Forge. Each segment explores the use of music, rhythm and audio as elements of horror.[4]
