- They have been edit warring for the last three days while making claims without even bothering to start a discussion; and even after the other editor started a discussion for them, their only contribution was citing ONUS (for stable content that they have an issue with). M.Bitton (talk) 14:43, 23 March 2026 (UTC)
- It started with Bananakingler deleting perfectly sourced content and subsequently citing WP:ONUS to edit war and claim anyone reverting them needs consensus to do so. I've opened a talk page discussion (as they wouldn't) to end the edit warring, but they've continued to restore their deletions. They've received warnings from three editors over this particular article. Skitash (talk) 14:51, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

When i opened talk page to show my concerns about source used about the origins of the subject of the article, it ended with nothing, as there are other sources existing that disagree with source used for her origins it got reverted on opinion that “book that state her origins were written before so the book they gave which was written after is right” so automatically means the source they used is correct.D3enji (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)

Comments: Problems found: Lack of evidence when asked to prove his beliefs. Asked to stop a useless behavior. Asked to give evidence for his edits. Asked to give evidence for his claims. Nothing worked. The user gives his personal opinion as evidence. When asked to stop in the page's talk page, he stated writing random words as if he was mocking me, clearly not wanting to collaborate with users who are really committed to this work. Check the page's history and the talk page for further evidence. The only reason he gives for his deletion of sourced content is a personal belief not supported by sources. It was Impossible to make him stop and even my efforts to make him realize that his beliefs are useless not even taken into consideration if he doesn't give evidence for his claims didn't work. There is clearly the will to do as he wants, and the worst is that he deletes sourced contents as he wish only because he doesn't like it. And the motivation is a personal belief, of course. Examples of his answers when warned that his will is not law and not taken even in consideration as it's not a source: "Didn’t you say bye?" - clearly mocking me, and "Cherry picking", not even trying to stop his behaviour and like if we are playing, not working for a public Encyclopedia. The main issue is simple: he wants to use his personal beliefs to delete sourced contents by an historian and researcher. When asked to prove evidence, he gives nothing but personal beliefs. Advised to stop, nothing worked. Created a mess all over the pace while I tried to re insert the sourced material he deletes according to his will. It's useless to try to make him stop, there is clearly a problem which can't be solved if he mockes users who are trying to stop him because his attitude is a problem. He is even trying to puts words in my mouth that have never been said: "“book that state her origins were written before so the book they gave which was written after is right”" his motivation here is this one - clearly false as I have explained almost 100 times why his beliefs need evidence to be proven. This, alone and not considering the already quoted problems, is even worse as it shows a lack of understanding people's reasons. MariaAmaliaduchessadiParma (talk) 15:59, 23 March 2026 (UTC)

Edit warring by Dave Felmer (Result: Declined – malformed report)
Davefelmer has been constantly reverting numerous times the James Fishback article, without communicating on the talk page (and ignoring attempts to do so), across multiple times, being just slightly away from WP:3RR more than once, despite being in an arbitration case where he was repeatedly warned not to engage in this type of behavior.
On 21 February, he made 3 reverts, first two being in (this edit undid two different ones, and ) and the third in
On 22 February, he made 2 different reverts . Another revert on February 24 , another on February 25
Another 3 manual reverts on 4 March
Another 2 reverts on 20 March .
On 21 March, I reached out to him regarding one of his reverts . I did not receive a reply.
On 22 March, the article became a contentious topic.
On 24 March (today), he made 2 more reverts, (note the content for this one was not simply reverted from a removal before, re-instated in alignment per someone else's content-suggestion) including the one I brought up in the talk page that he ignored.
This is the person who is currently facing arbitration charges for edit warring Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#Davefelmer, so he should already be well-aware of the policy and not to do this sort of thing.
Note that the majority (if not all) of these are for reasons such as WP:DUE, not for removing poorly sourced material (which would be understandable).
Wikieditor662 (talk) 17:49, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Looking at the diffs from March 18 onward (as stuff from Feb is kind of stale) and I'm not really seeing much in the way of edit warring. My understanding is the 1RR restriction came into play March 22 which means only the last two diffs ( and ) have really any relevance at all. No comment about the AE case which I'm very happily not a party to and would rather not become a party to but this really doesn't look like much at all. Furthermore there is a legitimate WP:BLP concern since what was removed in the second diff was a misrepresentation of the source. The judge declined a contact injunction for stalking and harassment; they did not deny there was evidence of the relationship. Considering how it misrepresents other living parties in a legal matter I'd recommend leniency here. In this specific case. Even if it did technically breach 1rr. Simonm223 (talk) 18:07, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
There are sooo many things being thrown around here. A thread at AE is not "an arbitration case". There is currently one open arbitration case and one case request. And if there's currently a thread about the behavior you're reporting, why are we here at another noticeboard at all? "The article became a contentious topic" ... that's not what happens when an article is protected due to always having been part of a contentious topic. "1rr" ... There's no one-revert restriction in place for the article. Dr vulpes tried to add one but it never came into place because there's no editnotice when editing the article and enforcing the restriction would require that to have been in place during the editing.
At least one of the diffs linked above correctly removed oversightable material. Don't list it as if it was part of a problem. It solved a problem, which is why it is the first visible revision after suppression and why you were unable to provide an actual diff link. You noticed this and put it on the list anyway.
I don't know where to start. You could start by creating a report that actually uses the template for this noticeboard by clicking the large "Click here to create a new report" text and filling the form. I'll close this chaotic mix of misunderstandings and errors in its current form. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:31, 24 March 2026 (UTC)

- @ToBeFree Sorry, I didn't understand why the "preview" wasn't working, so I showed a different link instead, but I should have clarified that better. Wikieditor662 (talk) 20:42, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- @ToBeFree Are you able to be more specific with which diffs I should exclude from the new report? Wikieditor662 (talk) 20:43, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- That would require me to fully process the report, having a look at each diff after noticing that at least one of them was clearly badly chosen and the whole section here is probably premature or misplaced if there's an AE thread about edit warring behavior by the same user. I don't know. I don't currently want to know. I was looking at a mess and said so, that's all. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:23, 24 March 2026 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help! I added the new one per your request, hopefully you find the new report to be more organized this time. Wikieditor662 (talk) 05:34, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

Comments:
As can be seen, this user has on two occasions reached 3 reverts, making them just one edit away from WP:3RR more than once. Even if this wasn't intentional, I believe it is still disruptive. Also, three reverts for February 21 and two more for February 22, and WP:3RR states
Fourth reverts just outside the 24-hour period will usually also be considered edit warring, especially if repeated or combined with other edit-warring behavior.
Even beyond that, the fact they constantly resorted to reverting everything they disagreed with and treating the article as if they own it instead of communicating, even when others try to reach out, especially when dealing with an arbitration case for edit warring, is a problem.
Note that the majority (if not all) of these are for reasons such as WP:DUE, not for removing poorly sourced material (which would be understandable). If there are any reverts that were WP:NOT3RR on here (such as undoing vandalism), please let me know and I will be happy to remove them if I find that to be the case.

Per the request of an administrator. Some of the edits being reported were WP:BLPREMOVE and there's no evidence of any repeated reversion of any given piece of text.
As I've said and asked, do you have any specific cases? I believe the majority were for given reasons such as WP:DUE but if you can show me ones that are under WP:BLPREMOVE I could remove them from the report.- Wikieditor662 (talk) 18:03, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
I see no actual edit warring of a kind simple enough to be dealt with here, and I think I agree with Simonm223; whatever the various problems may be with Davefelmer's behavior is now under scrutiny with the arbs. As a side note: I like to think that I care about the BLP, and I think edits like [46.112.67.76 this one] are very problematic. Drmies (talk) 15:53, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
I see no actual edit warring of a kind simple enough to be dealt with here, and I think I agree with Simonm223; whatever the various problems may be with Davefelmer's behavior is now under scrutiny with the arbs.
Should I take the specific diffs to the arbs case? I'm not sure if I'll have enough room though.edits like [46.112.67.76 this one] are very problematic.
I couldn't find this edit, do you have a diff of it? Also, is it problematic on his side to make or problematic to be in the report?- Wikieditor662 (talk) 18:05, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- It was probably meant to be a link to one of the edits that introduced problematic content, which was subsequently correctly removed by Davefelmer, and thus irrelevant for an edit warring report per WP:3RRNO #7. Whichever diff was meant is almost irrelevant for the 15:53 decision not to take action. The report is closed. This page is for reporting active edit warriors and recent violations of restrictions like the three-revert rule. There is no active edit war in this case, there was no recent restriction violation, there's nothing to be done here at this noticeboard.
- And again, there is no "arbs case", just a thread at AE. Arbitration cases are requested at WP:ARC and end up on separate case pages listed in the infobox of that page. The only current open arbitration case is Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Case/Maghreb.
- No further replies and no further reports about the same matter, please. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:33, 25 March 2026 (UTC)

User seems unwilling to listen to multiple other editors and is resorting to personal insults in talk page edits. Spike 'em (talk) 15:16, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
- To summarise this: Eem dick doun in toene repeatedly undid several versions of mine and he refused all attempts to talk to him until yesterday.
- Then he wanted to delete the entire section in question because he felt the author's statement (Kuper) was not neutral.
- I tried very hard to explain to him that the statement of a relevant author doesn't have to be neutral. It is the opinion of the author.
- In historical writing, it's permissible to reproduce controversial statements. The opinion of a relevant author is sacrosanct; not everyone has to share it. Where would we end up if we removed Robert Blake simply because he considered Disraeli a genius?
- Otherwise, he might get the idea to delete statements by historians who describe Hitler and Stalin as criminals.
- I wouldn't put it past him, judging by his “argument”.
- He didn’t answer, but undid the version once again, now he switched tactics.
- He deleted it again, this time citing the article's length as the reason. My arguments that the excessive use of a zillion internet links for one source should have been deleted instead (and that I had already shortened the text), fell completely on deaf ears.
- If it's only about length, then it must be said that I deleted a lot of unnecessary and duplicate content, sometimes mentioned not only twice, but in three sections. The final version, as I envision it, is going to be shorter than the one before I started to edit.
- Anyway, the supposed length of the article. Who actually decides that an article is too long? That's a matter of opinion. If we stick with football: There's obviously not much to write about a team like Crystal Palace; a stub should be enough. Ajax Amsterdam or Bayern Munich is a different story. You don't need to write much about Rockingham either, but Thatcher or Gladstone deserve a lenghty assessment. So, the length is variable and has to be variable.
- Regarding the section in question, I also made several compromise proposals and offered to delete some sources and further shorten the section in question. This was also rejected; everything has to be deleted. This is completely incomprehensible, because if one were to actually read the article, it would be clear that X (=Kuper/Winner/Wilson for this matter) is a primary source and therefore belongs in that section. That's how I was taught, and my training wasn't the worst.
- Then he called Spiek'em for help. Neither of them contributed anything to the article.
- However, it should be noted that while the section in question is deleted, there is also insistence that I insert it into a different, new section “Legacy” or soemthing like that. So it's clearly not about the length at all; it's about being right and the length-argument is just a pretext to harass me.
- I should point out once again, some user seemingly are unable to read or understand that) all my edits here are simply a translation of my article on the German Wikipedia. The article there is one of my Excellent (= Featured one) ones and was yesterday's article of the day. So I know how to write good articles.
- What I have added are documented facts, supported by reputable literature (several sports book of the year in the Sunday Times).
- If someone wants to delete this, they must provide credible evidence. Thanks, reputable third opinion awaited. Michael G. Lind (talk) 15:19, 25 March 2026 (UTC)
There's obviously not much to write about a team like Crystal Palace; a stub should be enough.

- I assume this is referring to me? As far as I can see, you had not stated(And so, it would be unreasonable for me to assume,) that you copied the content from the German page to the English one. Instead, you only stated that you had produced the German version of the article
The article in full, as I wrote it, is already a featured article in the german wikipedia

- Well, when I saw it here, I added page protection, so even WP:RFPP would have been an option. It's okay to report edit warring here, it's less okay to report this non-vandalism at WP:AIV even if it would have led to action there, ANI would have been correct but unspecific ... Of all the options, for the given case, due to the lack of urgency, the clear edit warring, the stubborn but good-faith nature of the edits and the usual backlog at RFPP, I'd say bringing it here was the best option. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:22, 27 March 2026 (UTC)

User:Bushmaster26 on Agartala–Narangi Express (Result: Declined)
I am the creator of this article (DAR.45m). I have been attempting to maintain WP:CONSISTENCY with other established Indian Railways articles (like SMVT Bengaluru–Balurghat Express, Bhanjpur–Puri Express, Hatia–Durg Express, Tambaram–Tiruchchirappalli Express, Mangaluru–Tirunelveli Express, Shalimar–Chennai Central Express, Ernakulam–Velankanni Express (via Tiruchchirappalli)). User:Bushmaster26 has repeatedly added large amounts of unsourced or unnecessary information and has reverted my attempts to restore the standard version.
Crucially, the user is repeatedly labeling my constructive edits as "vandalism " in their edit summaries, which is a violation of WP:NOTVAND. I have explicitly asked the user in my edit summary at 15:40 to use the Talk page per WP:BRD, but he immediately reverted again at 15:41 without discussion. This is clear Edit Warring and disruptive behavior.

- The user has created the article with only 3 citations. The article created by the user contains poor phrasing, less content with very few sources (only 3). So I added proper content with better phrasing (for instance the introduction, Background section of my revision (1) and also with 9 more citations from reliable sources. My revision, 2, contains 12 citations supporting additional content added by me, which follows WP:CONSISTENCY, for instance Chennai Rajdhani Express, Hazrat Nizamuddin–Thiruvananthapuram Rajdhani Express, Howrah–New Delhi Rajdhani Express (via Patna), Dibrugarh–Kanniyakumari Vivek Express, Mumbai Central–New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express, August Kranti Rajdhani Express, etc.
- The user mentioned various train articles to prove WP:CONSISTENCY but all these articles were created by the user in the span of last 2 months like SMVT Bengaluru–Balurghat Express, Bhanjpur–Puri Express, Hatia–Durg Express, Tambaram–Tiruchchirappalli Express, Mangaluru–Tirunelveli Express, Shalimar–Chennai Central Express, Ernakulam–Velankanni Express (via Tiruchchirappalli). All these articles contains less contents, few citations which are not from reliable sources. In all these articles the user didn't maintained WP:CONSISTENCY like addition of 'File:Ministry of Railways India.svg' logo. The user is referring to his own created articles in the span of last two months to prove WP:CONSISTENCY, whereas none of the previous created train articles, including those major train articles mentioned by me, follows that body. The user repeatedly reverted my edits where the user removed 9 citations from reliable sources, background section, train image, Coach composition section, Traction section, Schedule section and also the Template of this train. Now the background section, traction all are cited with reliable sources, still the user removed all these in his following revision; 3, 4, 5. And coach composition, schedule sections follows indiarailinfo website in every major train articles. Bushmaster26 (talk) 19:21, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Bushmaster26, you need to get your terminology correct.
- You have linked to "WP:CONSISTENCY" four times, yet that shortcut points to a disambiguation page instead of a specific policy, guideline or essay. You use these capital letters as if they had any special meaning beyond the simple word "consistency", yet they do not, so can you please just write normal English and – if you really need to – simply put the link behind the word ("I did so for consistency") or refer to a policy section explicitly ("the consistency section of the article titles policy"). It looks so much more professional and correct. Spend 10 seconds instead of 5 seconds on writing readable sentences instead of walls of meaningless capital letters.
- If you want to provide a long list of article links, put them in a bulleted list instead of a huge sentence.
- You appear to have described good-faith edits as "vandalism", which they are not. This creates completely unnecessary animosity and implies the user is a vandal, which is a personal attack when you are wrong about it. And you are wrong about it in this case.
- DAR.45m, please resolve this through discussion with Bushmaster26. You have not yet edited the article's talk page, Talk:Agartala–Narangi Express, but doing so is not optional when there is a conflict (unless you completely disengage from the situation). If you had used the

King Ayan Das is repeatedly removing attributed content by misrepresenting Wikipedia policies on the talkpage, they have already made their intentions clear that they seek to escalate the edit war until they get their preferred version by saying they will continually revert after 24 hours have passed on an article under 1RR without regard for any admin intervention against them . This is a clear violation of the remedy in spirit. Wisher08 (talk) 10:12, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- I received a notice regarding the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious, on my user talk page at 02:28, 25 March 2026.
- After that I made 2 edits to the India in the 2026 Iran war article.
- These were,
- at 19:24, 25 March 2026, while the last revert before that was at 17:39, 24 March 2026 (which not only exceeds the 24-hour cycle but also exceeds it by more than one hour)
- ,and my second and latest revert was at 09:09, 27 March 2026, which exceeds the 24-hour period by more than 12 hours
- So, it clearly shows that after receiving the notice regarding contentious, I did not violate the 1RR rule. And for the implementation of WP:BRD in the presence of many Edit ninjas (WP:EDITNINJAS), I had to take some actions that Wikipedia policies allow. Whether the content is legitimate or not is subject to community consensus, but this noticeboard is only for WP:3RR/WP:1RR violations, and I have already shown that I did not violate any such restrictions after receiving the contentious topic notice. King Ayan Das (talk) 10:45, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello King Ayan Das, what makes you think that WP:BRD is a policy that needs to be enforced? Is there something above WP:BRD that says "policy"? "Guideline"? Anything else than "optional" or "essay"? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:49, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- (Also, "EDITNINJAS"? Really? Can you stop linking to essays and we have a discussion about policies and guidelines? You could start by explaining which policy or guideline justified your behavior.) ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:52, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- No! it is a guideline, not an essay, which is WP:NEWSOPED. As I have noticed, the source is an op-ed written by a random author who is neither a notable figure nor a recognized expert. The content is written as- "According to <source>," whereas if the author was notable, even then, as it is an op-ed, it should be written as “according to <author’s name>.”
- Although I have some other issues as well, this is the main issue behind my latest revert for now. If you want more details, you can read this: Talk:India in the 2026 Iran war#Cycle.
- Now tell me, even after pointing out these issues in my edit summary, when many editors seem more interested in bringing back that content instead of addressing my objections on the talk page, what should I do? Should I just give up and move to another page, or at least try to resolve these issues? King Ayan Das (talk) 12:28, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- Due to the (lack of) indentation, I'm not sure which of my messages exactly your "No!" is a reply to.
- Anyway: The edit summary of Special:Diff/1345650690 makes no sense. BRD is an essay. Stop treating it as something enforceable by reverts. All you are doing is edit warring. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 01:18, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

- Hi Wisher08, you write "attributed content" as if that, by itself, was automatically a reason to include material. Are you aware of the following policy section?
The responsibility for achieving consensus for inclusion is on editors seeking to include disputed content.
— Wikipedia:Verifiability § Build consensus- ~ ToBeFree (talk) 11:54, 27 March 2026 (UTC)
- I said "attributed" because their reasons for removing the content are at best misrepresentation of the policies to completely deny the inclusion of the attributed content on filmsy grounds. If their concern hidden behind all the incorrect notions of policies, only amounts to that attribution is given as "according to publication" rather as "according to author", which could be fixed by editing yet they revert incessantly and remove the content by insisting on following the uneforceable BRD cycle as if its mandatory.
- I also agree as to the fact that their reasons for reverting repeatedly are also similarly based in misinterpretation of BRD as a policy rather than a suggestion as to how the consensus forming process should work. Thanks. Wisher08 (talk) 14:18, 27 March 2026 (UTC)

Talk:Saya no Uta: The Song of Saya#In regard to the constant removal of the lolicon genre tag
Comments:
User is trying to edit war and is now starting to break the 24 hour rule to keep control over the article. Seeing that me making a 4th revert in such a short time would likely break the edit war rule, even if the 24 hour window is respected, I am taking it to here for an admin to look over and take action.
The user did try to pull the conversation into the talk page first, but in retrospect I suspect it was actually a way to keep the article from changing, which then lead to the following:
I have already provided evidence in the talk page supporting my claims, which ranges from in-game screenshots, subcultural terms (even regionally to Japan), examples of those terms in practice within other forms of arts and japanese series with how it relates back to the subject in question and even promotions on japanese websites relating back to the character's body type as well as official websites managed by the developers themselves in Japan and referencing the Wikipedia article on Lolicon itself, while the user in question has argued "vibes", using deflections, personal thoughts and experiences in place of solid evidence, instigating that interest in the subculture's fiction means interest in real life criminal intent, moving goalposts and then claiming it doesn't count when I argue along with where the goalpost was set, snarky rephrasings of what I said to redefine them in ways I didn't say rather than to poke much needed holes in my arguments, snarky insulting comments and ignoring evidence that was provided comments ago, including Wikipedia's own pages, while telling me I talk too much in the section called the "talk" page, where discussion he pulled me into was suppose to be had, before insulting me for engaging in such a way, while his behavior puts me into a belief that he is not arguing in good faith really early into the talk post as a result of ignoring the in-game text and artwork alone.
He has also instigating "Appeal to Majority" fallacy. claiming people disagreeing that the tag must stay are bigger than what I was arguing and the evidence I provided, when said "majority" has not provided significant evidence (such as claiming immorality or treating legal deflection jargon from foreign licenced publishers as in-universal fact), nor was an formal vote held or known to be held by the other two counter-claimers.
Considering the evidence I did provide kept getting dismissed by him even when it was strong, I started to feel it was better to just leave evidence regardless if I convince him or not due to his erratic behavior as I know our talk will be seen beyond just the two of us, while also starting to express what I felt was actually going on based off of his behavior and recent internet trends out of frustration.
Page protected In full for three days so you can bring your talk page discussion to a resolution. Feel free to bring in other people; neither of you violated 3RR so we can't take action on those grounds. But we could block you both for edit warring if you keep this slow-motion thing going. Daniel Case (talk) 04:55, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- So what happens if nothing is resolved in those 3 days? It already took almost a month to get to this point and I don't have high confidence he is going to listen, considering his behavior turned to personal attacks based on morals over sense on multiple instances instead of sticking by the book while ignoring anything that's longer than a tweet.
- Additionally I don't have connections, so I don't know the extent to how get more people into the conversation.
- As someone who does gets rather deep into otaku subculture, I am confident in my assessments.
- I wanna do the article itself, and the Visual Novel it is based on, proper informational justice, but with the topics at hand in the visual novel and this new internet culture of pretending to be interest in something for popularity while simultaneously shuning what's inside it, I am lacking confidence that this is going to go anywhere. If the in game screenshots I linked to in the talk page aren't enough to prove the point then I don't know what is.
- Personally I don't wanna be banned for trying to be genuinely helpful and keeping the article honest... Samalik16 (talk) 08:13, 26 March 2026 (UTC)
- I would suggest you post a notice at WT:ANIME, asking for others knowledgeable about the work in question, or just anime generally, to come and weigh in. Daniel Case (talk) 03:19, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines
. The policy against edit warring is. The requirement to obtain a consensus for including disputed content is. - Here's what you can do: Remove content you believe to be inaccurate/unverifiable. Rely on WP:BURDEN and WP:ONUS to prohibit others from restoring the content without a talk page consensus.
- Here's what you can not do: Repeatedly restore maintenance templates others have objected to.
- There's nothing for a sockpuppetry investigation to do; I can simply treat these temporary accounts as one single person. So you have edit warred with one single person. I can block both participants or decline to take action for now. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:51, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

Temporary account ~2026-19406-32 on List of Warner Bros. films (2020–2029) (Result: Blocked indefinitely)
I am reporting an edit war on the article List of Warner Bros. films (2020–2029) involving Fedotov Andrew (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and suspected temporary accounts ~2026-18932-83 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and ~2026-19406-32 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). The dispute centers on whether the film list should be split year-by-year or kept as a single, undivided list. All other articles in this series, including the lists for the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s, use a year-by-year split for better readability and consistency across the encyclopedia.
User:~2026-19406-32 repeatedly reverts my formatting improvements to maintain an undivided list without providing a valid reason for deviating from the established project style. The user also appears to be using multiple temporary accounts to bypass the Three-Revert Rule and continue the edit war. I have attempted to communicate on his talk page to resolve this, but the user continues to revert my edits instead of engaging in a constructive discussion. I am requesting administrative intervention to stop the disruptive behavior and ensure the article remains consistent with the rest of the Warner Bros. film list series. Dasomm (talk) 22:29, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
- Hello Dasomm, why are you trying to resolve a content dispute on specific users' talk pages, worse, temporary ones? Why has the article's talk page been last edited 25 days ago if there's a dispute active right now? User repeatedly reverts content without discussion. I attempted to resolve on the talk page. User012030213 (talk) 10:18, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- I am responding to the report made against me. The complaint mischaracterizes my efforts to uphold Wikipedia policies and overlooks repeated policy violations by the reporting editor.
- The user has repeatedly attempted to use primary sources, such as ICTY transcripts and UN reports, to synthesize outcomes of battles. Per WP:NOR and WP:SYNTH, editors should not interpret primary legal or diplomatic documents to reach military conclusions. Such outcomes must be cited from established secondary sources (historians, military analysts).
- The reporting editor's contributions appear focused on pushing specific interpretive claims about sensitive historical/military topics using weak or primary sources, while targeting editors who enforce policy. This fits a pattern of POV-pushing and disruptive editing rather than collaborative improvement.
- Another matter is one of the reporting editor's earliest interactions was contacting the Hoax User(Koqevar61) with a message along the lines of "we have a lot in common". This immediate outreach to a user with such a record is concerning and raises questions about possible coordination or shared editing patterns. While I am not opening a formal sockpuppet investigation at this time, the timing and wording warrant administrative attention under policies on disruptive editing and vandalism. Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 13:17, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- My report is about the repeated reverts and the vandalism accusation.
- I agree that primary sources should be used carefully. My point was that the ICTY and UN material did NOT support a strong outcome like "Yugoslav victory" without better secondary sourceing. User012030213 (talk) 13:26, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- UN and ICTY are not reliable for the battle outcomes as i have said but to no avail. If you know that you are breaking the rules as you said on the talk page and interpret every outcome as fluid i dont have another word for it except vandalism. You forgot that you too reverted three or more times so i think we should both be blocked or sanctioned. I think that is the most fair result for this matter. I will leave this matter to admins. Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 13:41, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- My edits were not vandalism and I did not say that every outcome is "fluid". I said that stronger wording like "Yugoslav victory" should only be used if it is clearly supported by reliable sources. I agree that UN and ICTY material should be used carefully, but in this case my point was that the current outcome wording goes beyond what the sourcing clearly supports. specijalne-jedinice.com is not a reliable source.
- My report is about repeated reverts and the vandalism accusation, not about personal motives. User012030213 (talk) 14:05, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- The article has its academic sources and bibliography, which you deleted for unknown reasons and without explanation in the section for the description of the change, it is pure vandalism, and you have done it several times. That source that you deliberately mentioned because all the others are valid is just a follow up and I will delete it so that the remaining completely valid sources remain. I think that the administrator and other members of the community are not interested in the fact that you have personal problems against me, please use official sources from the CIA - Balkan Battlegrounds or others that deal with the war itself, because the sources you mentioned are subject to manipulation and border on the rules of WP. Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 14:15, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- I did not remove content as vandalism. I removed material because parts of it were not clearly supported by the cited sources, including the added detail about the body and suicide, and because the current outcome wording goes beyond what the sourcing clearly supports. Calling that “vandalism” is not accurate.
- This is a sourcing dispute, not a personal issue. I am trying to use reliable and neutral sources, but you are trying to make this personal and i have seen that i am not the first person you have revered mulitiple times. I will use continue to use soruces such as the UN and ICTY where appropriate, i am not limited to using what you are demanding me to use. Any source has to be used carefully and all are subject to manipulation, which is why the wording should stay close to what the source clearly states. User012030213 (talk) 14:48, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- When you use AI to generate this answers then be consistent with it. You have deleted the academic source that was clearly saying that Yugoslav forces retook the city from the KLA, you have deleted it without any explanation and tried to manipulate the result with sources that were talking about the Metohija part of Kosovo in general not the specific operation or town. It is interesting how you confessed that you used original reserach, but later on(now) you say that you used them as a "reliable source". So its clear that you have lied and you listed here WP rules to sound more legitimate to the community. It is personal to me since you reported me without valid reasons and you warned me after reporting me. I am waiting for your explation for messaging the account that writes like you and edits 1/1 like you, for all users its clear situation. Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 15:00, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- I did not “confess” to using original research. Tell me where i "confessed". You are misrepresenting what I said. Like i have been saying many times but you are avoding looking at it since you know you are wrong was that sources like the UN and ICTY must be used carefully and that the article wording should not go beyond what the sources clearly support. The UN itself noted that control of territory was fluid during the war, which is exactly why wording such as “Yugoslav victory” and sweeping territorial claims need clear source support for this specific operation.
- The issue is not my edits, but the article wording going beyond what the sources clearly say. You accused me of vandalism and reverting instead of discussing the issue on the talk page. Which account that writes like me and edits 1/1 like me are you even talking about? User012030213 (talk) 15:25, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
- Again for the 10th time, you cant use sources that all users on wikipedia and academics use for civilian casualties and criminal records for specific military operation and its military outcome, its not serious and can be used for banned actions. You are clearly not competent to edit this artcile since you break many rules and WP policies and then talk about reliable sources wich you clearly abuse for your own POV. Firstly you break WP:RESULT rule(please read it) and then Original research and so on. Stop with it if you can please.
- Also why are you nervous? You reported me and wait for Admins to come and see the matter. Polsko-Gruzinski (talk) 15:56, 29 March 2026 (UTC)

I have warned this user multipe times now, this has been ongoing for multiple months now and they were even warned by admin and blocked by them for a period of seven days due to their behavior but they have refused to listen. You can check the previous investigation where they were blocked and the page was protected, but they essentially delay talking and will only respond if you revert their edits. They have been trying to brute force their edits and I have avoided reverting their edits to prevent edit wars but they are determined to keep this up. Asking Admin to please read the previous investigation and deal with this user as they do not care to talk to me. Also pinging the previous admin, User:ToBeFree who decided in this previous case. Thank you.

The editor has been edit warring at Gyanesh Kumar, a BLP article. Their edits have included violations of WP:NPOV, unexplained removal of sources, changing content without adding or changing the sources with them, adding promotional content sourced to a news article which mentions none of the things that the content states, among others. When told to gain consensus at talk per WP:ONUS, and warned of edit warring. They then decided to take the matter to WP:ANI and accused me of vandalism, even though their content had been reverted by several other editors. They have continued edit warring even while the discussion is ongoing. — EarthDude (Talk) 17:52, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

This user is continually adding excessive content to Dustin Martin's article despite being warned (you'll see that they've received several notices over the last year, so doesn't appear to be learning) and several requests to discuss at the article talk page or project level. As I explained to them, there was a set of achievements for individual players that was agreed upon at project level (awards of significance such as All-Australian team, club best and fairest, etc.), with other things like minor club awards (e.g. fifth place in club B&F) or fan/media-voted awards (e.g. 22under22 team) considered unnecessary, but they've been ignoring this and adding them back. Only just today did they reach out to me directly (though not to discuss in any meaningful way, in my opinion), but not at the article talk page or at project level as requested (should be noted that I wasn't the only person to revert this user's edits); comments like this one aren't super helpful either. 4TheWynne (talk • contribs) 00:58, 2 April 2026 (UTC)

User:Semsürî is repeatedly reverting edits on the Kovancılar page without establishing consensus. The edits remove or alter sourced information and appear to be disruptive.
User:Semsürî is repeatedly inserting and restoring information that appears to be inaccurate, despite explanations and evidence provided in edit summaries.
The name "Kovancılar", as supported by available sources, was given by Turkish migrants who came from Romania in 1934. The name is a direct transfer from the original place name in Romania, and therefore does not have an equivalent in another language.
I have attempted to explain this and provide clarification, but the user continues to revert my edits without addressing the sources or engaging in meaningful discussion.
This behavior is disruptive and does not align with Wikipedia's principles of verifiability and consensus. I request that the edits be reviewed and appropriate action be taken.

Hello DrKay, you refer to an earlier consensus in the edit summary of Special:Diff/1346690285. Has there been a talk page discussion ending in such consensus or are you referring to the implicit weak consensus that exists until a dispute arises? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:16, 2 April 2026 (UTC)

That said, DrKay, please don't treat BRD as a policy and have a look at Wikipedia:Consensus § Through editing again. Consensus achieved through editing alone ends whenit meets with disagreement
. There is no consensus to enforce if there's no talk page discussion; an edit that stayed unchallenged for 10 years does not have consensus anymore as soon as it is reverted. Policies that actually prefer specific revisions are WP:ONUS, WP:BURDEN, WP:BLPRESTORE. Perhaps there are more but these three seem to be the most relevant. None of them prefers content just because it's old. On the contrary, they all prefer the absence of content. WP:PREFER exists but is limited to administrative intervention with full page protection. Searching through the noticeboard archives yields an old ANI discussion and the more recent thread I had originally looked for. Even when you are right or dealing with very annoying and long-term disputes, please avoid edit warring yourself, lead by example by creating a talk page discussion (even if there is already one on a different article's talk page), invite the other user to it, remind them of the discussion if they keep reverting, revert only one more time if nothing else has helped, and report if that revert is reverted. It's a tedious process that takes weeks but your current approach seems to be bound to lead to a block for edit warring one day. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:30, 2 April 2026 (UTC)

- Yeah, I guess it's not as simple as I thought it was. The word "Serbia" has never been disputed; Serbia being "Former Yugoslavia" is probably also not disputed. So the temporary account's change was adding a more specific place than the undisputed "Serbia", and there was no source for that, so reverting to "Serbia, former Yugoslavia" didn't actually (re-)add disputed information. It's okay. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:00, 4 April 2026 (UTC)

Comments: Magentic Manifestations has twice reverted sourced academic content on Meenakshi, both times calling it "non-constructive." A detailed talk page discussion was opened listing all sources and requesting specific objections three times. The reverted content cites peer-reviewed journals (Fuller 1980 in History of Religions, University of Chicago Press; Brown 1947 in Journal of the American Oriental Society) and university press monographs (Pai 2023, Cambridge University Press; Harman 1992, Indiana University Press). The editor's only substantive response was to call the cited scholars "random people," asking "who is Devakunjari? Pai?" — the former already cited in the version they called "stable," the latter a Cambridge University Press author. The editor then reverted again without addressing any specific inaccuracy. I have not re-reverted following this latest revert. The restored version relies on Google Books links, academia.edu, and dead URLs. The admissibility of this type of Tamil-origin scholarship was previously established in a 2018 talk page discussion resolved by Utcursch and endorsed by Ms Sarah Welch. Sarveshrbabu (talk) 17:51, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
- No violation. I have protected the article for 14 days in order that discussion can take place on the talk page. Black Kite (talk) 18:00, 5 April 2026 (UTC)
- In my opinion, it is a premature and rather improper usage of the notice board. User:Sarveshrbabu has made a set of edits, which were reverted, and they reverted back the edits indeed again. The user has later initiated a discussion in the talk page after their second revert, which has been replied to with detailed and appropriate reasons for the revert. Bringing the issue here rather signals that the user is not interested to address the issues or in a discussion, and I am not sure what "recourse" is expected. I have tried explaining in detail in the relevant chain of discussion. Thanks. Magentic Manifestations (talk) 04:52, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Comments:
The editor in question is continually (on this and other articles) making changes they wish, and then insisting others need consensus to revert their edits. They make no attempt to obtain consensus for their additions, but instead insist their edits are proper and others need consensus to revert back to the previous stable versions. The editor has been blocked for edit warring before, been notified many times for edit warring and to build consensus. From their previous unblock requests they clearly don't understand edit warring and consensus building. Additionally when they're given the mandatory 3RR warning templates, they're completely uncivil and act like you're the one in the wrong. I did initially block them for their latest EW revert to their preferred version, but undid it as there is a possibility if you looked at the edits that I could be considered Wp:INVOLVED even though it's just through talks not reversions. So I'm seeking another admin to do what is needed. (And lets not forget that their response to being blocked and refusal to accepet their lack of consensus and edit warring previously was that its all tyranny.) Canterbury Tail talk 16:07, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
I thought the block of Canterbury Tail was a good one, though I understand why it was undone. TJauteur is potentially productive, but has issues with the collaborative aspect (I have one brief exchange in the talk page). And while removing edits from talk pages is allowed, using edit summaries like "get a life" , "this is my page, get out," and "go on a hike," in response to rather routine notices is part of the pattern, even if not particularly egregious in isolation. I was considering an ANI filing before one was opened here. CoffeeCrumbs (talk) 16:34, 6 April 2026 (UTC)

Lavalooma has continued to revert edits on Ms. Smith's article from a Marilyn Monroe inspired photoshoot, which was supported by sources, to the aftermath of criminal charges filed after Ms. Smith's death, also backed up by Government sources. For the Monroe inspired photoshoot, Lavalooma called it a COI; however, the PETA campaign was a direct homage to Monroe's dress, hair, and scenery from the "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" number in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, hence the title for the campaign was "Gentlemen Prefer Fur-Free Blondes." As for the criminal investigation surrounding her death, they explained that since the same topic was discussed on Howard K. Stern's article, it should not be put in Ms. Smith's; however, the investigation is directly associated with Ms. Smith's death, the aftermath, and an explanation on how she was supplied with the perscription drugs she overdosed on, and therfore should be covered in her article.

- Are you aware of the following section of the verifiability policy?
The responsibility for achieving consensus for inclusion is on editors seeking to include disputed content.

- Yes; thanks for coming here instead of reverting. This can now be discussed on the article's talk page. The advice of the essay WP:DISCFAIL may help in case discussion doesn't work. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:05, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
- Wikipedia has a rule that strictly forbids anyone with a financial conflict of interest (COI) from editing page directly. PR professionals are required to disclose their identity. Many reality shows have a dedicated group of editors (i.e. Housewives WikiProject). I believe "Thewealthysocialite" seems too "expert" in technicalities for a new user. Wikipedia is not a scrapbook or fan page. People who read Larousse, Britannica know what I'm talking about. Anna Nicole used M. Monroe's sex symbol image to boost her popularity (PETA campaign). Gratuitous mentions of more famous celebrity (Marilyn Monroe) or brands the person interacted with or glorified to boost their own perceived status. Smith's Wikipedia page already contains plenty of puffery. Smith's life was marred by scandals, lawsuits; even posthumously people around Smith were involved in various lawsuits (Rita Cosby case, Smith's estate, Smith's mother Virgie, etc). Smith's death was declared an accidental overdose. The doctors and lawyer were not accused of causing Smith's death. Howard K. Stern's page contains detailed information about the trial. Lavalooma (talk) 18:52, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
- Lavalooma, the strict prohibition you refer to doesn't exist. You may have the disclosure requirements for paid editing in mind, but not every conflict of interest is paid editing, and not even all financial conflicts of interest are paid editing, and not even paid editing is forbidden. The COI guideline does, however, discourage COI editing, and disruptive editing can just be treated as the disruption it is, independently of whether there is also a conflict of interest. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:07, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
- While the criminal investigation can be talked about on the talk page linked above, I think it's pretty unfair and insulting for you to claim that I'm either getting paid or a part of a PR company because I made edits you don't agree with. Especially considering that while I edit many articles pertaining to multiple topics, but since you joined Wikipedia in 2016 have mainly edited articles primarily pertaining to Anna Nicole Smith, such as Smith's daughter Dannielynn Birkhead, Smith's daughter's father Larry Birkhead, Smith's son Daniel Wayne Smith (all prior to their respective pages becoming redirects), the presiding judge of Smith's case Larry Seidlin, Smith's daughter's paternity case (Dannielynn Birkhead paternity case), Smith's attorney and friend Howard K. Stern, and even the news anchor who initially broke the news regarding Smith's death Rita Cosby. Would it be a fair assumption to assume you were a part of a PR team in charge of editing any or all articles pertaining to Smith?
- As for the PETA photoshoot and it's source from PETA that mentions Monroe's inspiration for the shoot, it is worth noting because Monroe's ensemble was the direct influence for the photoshoot, and is an iconic look that is often mentioned in articles that pertain to the dress such as Pink dress of Marilyn Monroe. Many editors (mostly newish) over the past few weeks have been expanding the cast list at The Secrets of Hotel 88 without adding sources which are subsequently removed for being unsourced. Jakstone53221 is a new editor that I reverted twice in the past day for doing this; afterwards, they made two other edits which were reverted and then re-added the unsourced cast a third time. Before this, they asked for permission to edit the article since it was semi-protected & were advised about becoming autoconfirmed.
Taking a look at their history, it looks like they also went past 3RR on the list article so I added those diffs above. I'm less clear about what's going on at Love Is Never Gone (User talk:Jakstone53221#Love Is Never Gone, Talk:Love Is Never Gone#Production company, & ANI) but it appears to be a similar amount of edit warring over unsourced content. In this edit, they claim to be an employee of ABS-CBN which would be a COI on all these articles. Sariel Xilo (talk) 04:37, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

Editor repeatedly restoring their preferred version despite multiple other editors disagreeing. tony 01:59, 10 April 2026 (UTC)
- Have you looked in to the sources cited for this version? Your idea that the piece is "unknown" and not part of a larger project is not substantiated by the facts.
- I reference articles from 8/2024 discussing the entire hot rat summer installation the mosaic was a part of. I cite a national publication from 2/2025 (where the cover picture ya'all are using here was taken from) and that n10 page national magazine article also reports the same information I am writing here. That is was part of a larger installation.
- I am also using a source of recent newspaper article from 2/2026 where the founder of the art collective was interviewed about their ongoing mosaics and gallery show with the hot rat summer mosaic artist?
- My sources are solid, and reverting to an article that doesn't tell the real full story is bizarre. For whatever personal reason you don't like the facts as they are, so you would rather tell a story that isn't true. I can make whatever small edits are needed, but deleting an entire version because you wish it wasn't so is vandalism. Dandelion 12345678910 (talk) 02:09, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

- Still dont understand why you are reverting to an article that disregards all of my journalistic citations and tells a completely false narrative that is ignorant of the established facts. It is an established fact that this mosaic was part of a larger Hot Rat SUmmer art installation that involved the work of dozens of trans artist, as noted in news sources in Agust 2024. Also noted in national news sources in February 2025. It is also an established fact this is one of. series of art installations done by the same artists, and that it is by the art colelctive The Queer Agenda Dot Gay (a recent newspaper story that included an interview with the founder of that art collective was cited).
- WHy revert to this article that says "everything is an unknown mystery" when that is simply untrue? Why not just change the tone of a paragraph you didn't like here or there? The dedication among a couple of you here to reverting to an article that is blatantly false is absolutely not in the spirit of Wikipedia. Imagine if you actually used wikipedia for its intended purpose to learn something that was previously unknown to you instead of pretending you are a subject matter expert in something you clearly have not been following since August 2024 or even more recently. GuardianH left a warning at 01:48, 10 April 2026 on my talk page purported I violated the 3RR rule and participated in edit warring (see above), when I only reverted him once (see above). Even if counting a previous revert, I only reverted twice. Such a false allegation is quite malicious.
He himself reverted the article for three times within 24 hours (see above).
In the talk page of the article, the user said "Britannica states only "Han clothing"" , while I reminded GuardianH that the sentence "A Chinese man and woman in traditional Chinese clothing, or hanfu." is right at the top of the source just beside the picture, he chose to ignore it.
This may not constutute Vandalism, but the following way he distorted the original content of the source is clearly vandalism.
The original sentence that includes his quote is "Thus, the Chinese began to refer to themselves as the Han, to their language as Hanyu (“Han language”), their writing as Hanzi (“Han characters”), and their clothing as Hanfu (“Han clothing”)."
An average English reader including himself should clearly understand that this sentence is not to deny that "Han clothing" can be in English natively called "traditional Chinese clothing", because the previous two examples shows that "Han characters" means Chinese characters, and "Han language" means Chinese language.
After changing the alternative name for Hanfu from "traditional Chinese clothing" to "Han Chinese clothing" for four times, the user couldn't even be bothered to change or delete the citation that I originally added to "traditional Chinese clothing"
The citation I added to "traditional Chinese clothing" is (Teekah, Ethan. "Han Chinese". Encyclopaedia Britannica. Archived from the original on 21 August 2025. "A Chinese man and woman in traditional Chinese clothing, or hanfu.")
My citation is clearly inconsistent to his editing that the alternative name of Hanfu can be called "Han Chinese clothing".
Any reasonable editor on Wikipedia should have the very basic consciousness that when something is changed or edited, the citation should be kept consistent to the new content per Wikipedia:Verifiability
One more thing that really shouldn't happen is that the user repeatedly claimed that "traditional Chinese clothing" is an "incorrect or erroneous translation" in the article's edit history . Leaving aside that "traditional Chinese clothing" is not a "translation", it is just an English native way of saying or describing "Hanfu". Even if it is a "translation", how can someone on Wikipedia claim that his "translation" is better than that of a staff-authored content from a proper tertiary source
In fact, "Han Chinese clothing" is also not found elsewhere in that source. Changing a verifiable name to a non-verifiable name constitutes original research per Wikipedia:No original research
Throughout the whole process, GuardianH showed little interest in communication. He came to made a false allegation to my talk page hoping me get intimidated, then violated the 3RR ruled, twisted the source of the citation, failed to update any citation after his editing, and claimed his "translation" is better than that of the source.
I would respectfully leave this matter in the hands of the administrators. Thanks for your attention
- Looking at the edit logs makes it apparent that WordPolice is being disingenuous here (the first diff provided is three days before the others). WordPolice has been warring on two separate articles with myself and in a latter article with myself and Qiushufang -- the articles Han Chinese and Hanfu -- by trying to add poorly sourced information, which then are reverted by myself and Qiushufang in order to preserve the stable version. Both myself and Qiushufang have outlined these in the respective articles' talk at Talk:Han Chinese and Talk:Hanfu. And its WordPolice engaging in bad-faith behavior: making bad-faith aspersions of lying , making threats for disruptive editing , and other clearly frivolous statements: You don't have the power to boss around what the Britannica says , Can you show me your professional certificate in translation? , Did SAT or ACT tell you to understand English in this way? . Their report is clearly in bad faith, they are NOTHERE, and there are grounds for a WP:BOOMERANG. Jay-GH 05:13, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- Ya I'll second Jay's frustration with WordPolice. They've threatened to report me for edit warring twice now despite the fact that they are clearly the one is instigating. They're also very rude for a new editor and has no idea how wiki sourcing works. Qiushufang (talk) 05:20, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- @GuardianH but WordPolice is correct that the language used for the past few years in the article is "traditional", not "Han". The current to Han happened a month ago
- WordPolice's behavior is a serious but separate matter. EvergreenFir (talk) 05:28, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- EvergreenFir This , the edit in question (changing the translation by adding "traditional" in bold), was not in the translation previously, actually. See, e.g., . That the mere mention of "traditional" in the article is certainly not what is at issue here; what's at issue is the changing of the translation of Hanzhuang with the added word "traditional," which is not a proper translation nor in the article's longstanding bolded translation. Jay-GH 05:43, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- @GuardianH thank you for explaining that. I see the new bolded entry was added 13 November 2025 by a sock puppet of Leoshuo who was blocked by Ponyo. Given the newness of WordPolice's account and its creation after the former account was blocked, I have my suspicious. Maybe Ponyo can assist? EvergreenFir (talk) 05:50, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- @EvergreenFir The original sentence is "Hanfu (simplified Chinese: 汉服; traditional Chinese: 漢服; pinyin: Hànfú, lit. "Han Chinese clothing"), also known as Hanzhuang (simplified Chinese: 汉装; traditional Chinese: 漢裝; pinyin: Hànzhuāng) or traditional Chinese clothing"
- "Traditional Chinese clothing" is not a direct translation to "Hanzhuang". It is just an equal alternative name for "Hanzhuang" WordPolice (talk) 06:02, 11 April 2026 (UTC)
- @GuardianH You spent the whole hour replying to my complaint here.
- Where were you when I asked to discuss with you at Talk:Hanfu#GuardianH_this_is_the_last_warning_for_your_disruptive_editing?

There's some nuance to this, in that SIGM17 (talk · contribs) has also been reverting repeatedly and has made arguably insufficient attempts to engage in discussion. But they have not done so after an edit warring warning on their talk (they were warned once, but have not reverted since).
On the other hand, Trackstarx (talk · contribs) has been reverted by multiple other editors and received multiple talk page warnings. Their edit summaries show issues like WP:OWN (stop reverting my page for weaker text. i bet my life's savings i'm more knowledgeable about Traore then you are

Good-faith edits are reverted, any attempts to use the talk page to discuss are ignored. I don't see this as being valuable to the process when I am willing to discuss further and the user won't engage with me. I suggest this report is closed and the user simply uses the talk page topics and the open RfC on the Talk page to engage. (Here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_paradoxes#Request_for_comment:_Many_inclusions_in_this_list_are_not_actual_Paradoxes) Note: this RfC was opened before the user filed a report and they have still not commented on anything on the Talk page. This recently created account has consistently only been doing unconstructive and disruptive edits to multiple articles and refuses to communicate despite being left several notices on their talk page of their offenses such as; Changing the VERIFIED professions of these Japanese artists Nagi Inoue, Shiori Kubo, Asuka Saitō, Minami Umezawa, Yuki Yoda, and Nanase Nishino among many others. Basically it's whole edit history has been dedicated to just changing these artists professions to what they personally believe to be their "actual" work. After I left them with several notices/warnings on their talk page, instead of refraining from the offenses, it proceeded to go anon to continue it's editing habits. Tis getting tiring manually reverting this bs. Turniner (talk) 11:20, 13 April 2026 (UTC)

Attempting to push through edits without obtaining proper consensus. 5 attempts at edits.
They violated 3RR, all while I pushed them to discuss on talk page after second reversion. I even created a post there and tagged them there, asking them to participate. They posted on my talk page (I moved the discussion to the article talk page; they oddly refused to post there despite me asking them to), we partially discussed the topic but did not achieve consensus. In the middle of the discussion, they then attempted again to push through an edit (#5), in which they cast aspersions about me in the edit comment.
Proposing temporary block from editing this specific article's body. They should be allowed to post on talk page; discussion is needed and if you read our conversation you can even see that I partially agree with their point, I just disagree with how far they're taking it. grapesurgeon (talk) 12:21, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

- Consensus obtained through editing alone ends in the moment the edit is disputed, even if that happens 10 years later. This may be surprising to some users, but the consensus policy says
until it is disputed or reverted
. I'm not sure if AusLondonder is aware of this; Czello might not have been aware when reverting for the sole reason of there having been an edit war. WP:PREFER exists, but only with page protection, not for random editors jumping into the dispute and adding fuel to the fire. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:14, 15 April 2026 (UTC)

This user has been warned repeatedly in other cases for edit warring.. He has been tag bombing the article on Saigo Takamori despite providing no justification for doing so. During talk page discussion he was expressly told "you still need to make a topic on the talk page explaining exactly what content in the article you think is not neutral." However, he's ignored the talk page discussion and repeatedly edit warred with at least two other individuals in order to insert a tag that makes no sense in the context. Hko2333 (talk) 21:02, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- A cursory review of the edit history for Saigo Takamori shows that the edit warring was mutual to both parties. Additionally , Hko2333 unreasonably expects that a discussion should be required for any clean-up tags whose scope is broader than individual sentences/paragraphs: a highly problematic stance towards a page where entire sections are in need of tidying up. Furthermore, Hko2333 appears to have made almost no constructive contributions to said article aside from reverting changes he/she does not like. Emiya1980 (talk) 21:27, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
- Emiya1980, will you stop re-adding disputed things (in this case a tag, it doesn't matter much what it is) without having found a consensus for doing so? If there are issues, fix them. - Emiya1980, will you stop re-adding disputed things (in this case a tag, it doesn't matter much what it is) without having found a consensus for doing so? If there are issues, fix them. Persistent edit warring over a period of several months, continuing even after deprecation of infobox parameter central to reversions (following linked discussion). Concurrent edit warring to a lesser extent also apparent at Ben Mitchell (EastEnders). U-Mos (talk) 20:43, 16 April 2026 (UTC)
- Per my understanding of WP:STONEWALL and previous interactions where that was concerned/brought up, information should not be changed from when discussion is opened until consensus is reached, as that is seen as gaming the system—if I misinterpreted this, then I apologise for that. However, nothing about it was done with ill or malicious intent, and for it to be presented as such is quite upsetting. Nothing was anything done with the intent to fight with other editors; it was done in good faith to maintain what I perceived to be the proper status of not changing information currently under discussion (which it had been), as well as the understanding that infoboxes are to represent the latest onscreen events, and not future, to occur events. And, if you did notice, I did continue discussion on the template's talk page, and not once did I go back to it again until the
|classification=was removed in accordance to the consensus of the discussion—which, to me, was not a revert in information, but more so helping remedy the created category from the parameter's removal, which I did not see as an issue. Again, if wrong or I misinterpreted things, then I apologise—however, a quick note on my own talk page explaining this would have sufficed, and a conversation could have been had, openly and willingly.
- An editor did bring up a "rule" that once a regular always a regular; however, such rule was never written in stone per that own user's recollection, nor was it ever presented. The opening of that discussion did cite a talk page discussion concerning one specific character (and not every single character on British soap operas) was a very specific case for this character and recent appearances, based on what I can gather from that one. The opening of that discussion did state "as we never change the classification of a character", however, nothing as such was written in stone. If it were an unspoken community consensus, which I boldly did change—based on last-known appearance (and was never provided a source stating otherwise, re: character and/or actors' appearance/status for said-appearance), and again, discussion was opened in February, as I did note in my reversion, again, under the presumed belief that changing content, while under discussion, was unacceptable. So, would reverting the edit (even boldly) that stood at the time the discussion was opened, while discussions were ongoing, be in violation of what Wikipedia believes, or? I am just trying to understand a bit more, so apologies if my response is a bit gibberish. Also, instead of jumping immediately into a warning template (WP:DTR), surely writing a message on my talk page would have potentially opened a one-on-one dialogue, as well. But, that is just me and what I am learning. livelikemusic (TALK!) 22:38, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

- Unsourced editing? The source is LITERALLY the show itself. The match started at less than the 30-minute mark of remaining showtime and the video package started at around 33. Literally, ANYONE who watches the show will see that. Besides, the match length has been changed from 24 minutes, to 25 minutes (which was unedited for a very long) to now, conveniently today, 35 minutes? Your source is untrustworthy AND they seem to round up every single match time to the nearest 5 or 0, which obviously is inaccurate. There is absolutely no chance, that every single match length ends with 5 or 0. This has been the case since Hell in a Cell 2016, when this began. The source is not giving FACTUAL details. ChrisB97 (talk) 19:00, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- See my comment on your talk page about why you can't say the show itself is the source, or why you can't work out the timings yourself. — Czello (music) 19:02, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- If that's really true, then you please add a reliable source; you can't just simply say that the source is the show itself without any reliable source, while the source we use states otherwise. If you want to change the times, please add a reliable source. Claiming that the show itself is the source is WP: OR, like Czello explained to you on the talk page. StrangerMan123 (talk) 19:12, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
- That's actually so ignorant and stupid. How can you say the show itself ISN'T a reliable source? It's literally THE most reliable source there is. Tell you what, you watch the match right now. You watch it and then come back and tell me that, without promo packages and "entrances" the actual match is 35 minutes long.
- I don't care what your rules are. You're clearly talking to someone who is obviously very obsessed about something as trivial as match lengths. Why else would I make such a massive deal out of it? I'm not just doing this for fun. I'm doing this because it has continuously p***ed me off for the last several years that the match lengths are CLEARLY just a rounded up length, instead of the factually correct length.
- You watch the end of that show and you timestamp it yourself, when that match actually starts and when it ends. I bet you won't. I'm blocked soon anyway, like has been mentioned. Big whoop. No skin off my a** really. ChrisB97 (talk) 21:19, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
