Per comments at Did you know nominations/National bank veto, article has had substantial WP:LLM problems since its first edit. User who created it has been blocked under complicated circumstances. I don't think it is practical or time-efficient to try to discern what is usable and factual from the material that currently exists here, and moreover there are already articles at Bank War and Second Bank of the United States where tightly-focused improvements could be provided instead. Former footballer and track and field athlete who doesn't seem to meet WP:GNG or WP:SPORTBASIC based on what is presented. The best source that I can find on her football career is Soccerdonna, which is just a database source. The best that I can find on her athletics career is Mama Runners Collective, which is written by Kohn-Egho herself. Other than that, all I can find is a bunch of posts on LinkedIn. Her career doesn't seem to have reached the levels that would have garnered WP:SIGCOV. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 19:57, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Goalpariya people
- Goalpariya people (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View AfD | edits since nomination)
The article is a stub, carries an unclear notability tag, and currently provides only a brief description plus a short "Notable people" section, with no demonstrated significant coverage in multiple independent reliable secondary sources. Under the GNG, a topic is suitable for a standalone article only when it has received significant coverage in reliable sources independent of the subject, and multiple sources are generally expected. As written, the page does not establish that Goalpariya people is a distinct, well-documented ethnic group that warrants a separate article. At most, this material seems better suited to a broader article on the Goalpara region or related Assamese/Bengali ethnolinguistic topics, rather than its own page. Therefore, I nominate this article for deletion per WP:GNG and WP:V. Jacklincoln47 (talk) 17:42, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Contested PROD. All encyclopedic content is covered in the articles about the leaders of various factions. Most content is background: content about the supposed subject is minimal. No evidence that the battle itself meets WP:GNG: there are two sentences at most in the sources, and in the reliable sources they are presented as matters of popular belief, not as fact. No evidence that sources anywhere refer to it as the "battle of Amritsar"; this is referred to as an ambush and counter-ambush of a handful of soldiers. Vanamonde93 (talk) 15:46, 14 March 2026 (UTC)

I PRODed this 2-entry disambiguation page with rationale "Neither of the linked articles state that their subject had the name "Windows 4.1"." The PROD was removed by @Quebecguy: with edit summary "The version number prefix for both versions listed is 4.1. While never marketed as such, it is still commonly-known alternative name, see page history." But this isn't enough: either each article actually has an appropriate mention of "Windows 4.1" in it, or their entries on the disambiguation fail MOS:DABMENTION. Source 1, bedeutungonline, was added as a replacement for me removing Know Your Meme. However, bedeutungonline does not seem to be an RS either as it has no declared editors or credited writers. Source 2 does not mention the meme at all. Sources 3-7 are only passing mentions of isolated incidents where hacking/vandalism used Boykisser as one of many memes. They're just passing mentions that confirm that the meme exists, and none are WP:SIGCOV.
User Dog Oxide (talk · contribs) also seems to have some WP:OWN issues, as they reinstated source 2 despite it being completely irrelevant to the meme. I was unable to find any significant third-party coverage of the meme, just a couple passing mentions where it was one of many memes used in a vandalism attack, along with social media and Know Your Meme. It's known in furry circles, but doesn't seem to have warranted anything more than passing name-drops outside of it. Ten Pound Hammer • (What did I screw up now?) 15:17, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

All of the text in this article appears to either be copy-pasted or very closely paraphrased from the cited sources. The article would have to be completely rewritten to comply with Wikipedia’s policies, and therefore I believe it should be deleted unless someone is willing to WP:TNT. - Speedy delete Unsurprisingly another mediocre student article. The entire environmental impact section is about composting generically, nothing specific to this topic. This is not AI, there's just a lot of plagiarism here. Literally the entire Process and Benefits sections (likely more as the nom identified) were copied and pasted directly from their sources without quotation. I always wonder what grade students get for these. User:Jdubmhc, thoughts on this student not actually doing any science writing for Wikipedia:Wiki Ed/Virginia Tech/Science Writing (Fall)? with decent-length edit summariesbeing made within onesecondminute of each other, which isn’t humanly possible unless you’re using some kind of bot.Quite frankly, the idea that a college student asked to write content for a Wikipedia article isn’t going to use AI is almost laughable. These courses shouldn’t exist IMO. I2Overcome talk 16:56, 21 March 2026 (UTC)- I second your comments. I have seen far too many pages written by students who are part of courses who create them directly in main/edit existing pages without enough curation. There are rare exceptions, but in general my experience is that these waste a significant amount of time by other users to repair them. I am also concerned that User:Jdubmhc, the instructor, only has 467 but is acting as an instructor for a course creating pages.
- Some questions to User:Ian (Wiki Ed):
- Why are novices in charge of teaching classes?
- What requirements and training is their for advisors?
- What reviewing is done by you and others, as against expecting us to to do it?
- If needed that can (perhaps should) go to a more general RfC. Ldm1954 (talk) 17:11, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Biography of a political figure, not properly sourced as having any strong claim to passing WP:NPOL. The strongest notability claim here is that he served for several years on a city commission, which is not a level of office that constitutes an automatic notability pass -- and no, it's not the same thing as the city council, but was a municipal committee whose members were appointed to their jobs by the city council.
But the article is not sourced anywhere near well enough to claim that he would pass NPOL #2 on this basis -- apart from one article about his appointment to the commission, this is otherwise referenced to a glancing namecheck of his existence on one page of a history book about the city, one very short blurb about his much later candidacy for another office that he didn't win, and a news brief about the death of his wife, none of which constitutes substantive GNG-worthy coverage.
There's just nothing here that would be "inherently" notable enough to exempt him from needing much, much more than just one substantive GNG-building source. Bearcat (talk) 02:32, 5 March 2026 (UTC)

If you meant to say he doesn't have his own article in The Canadian Encyclopedia, that's not really a metric by which we can determine notability. The Canadian Encyclopedia is missing articles on plenty of notable people, for example, Roger Stuart Bacon and Russell MacLellan, two former Premiers of Nova Scotia who are very much notable. That's what happens when you only have about 25,000 articles. Would you care to elaborate? MediaKyle (talk) 12:09, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
- Sorry, I used that link to search for articles about Canadian topics. You have to enter his name and hit search. I wasn't aware that it is not comprehensive. Can you please provide evidence of notability? Bearian (talk) 12:13, 9 March 2026 (UTC)
- I'm not totally confident yet that he is notable, but I would say that the entry I linked above is a good GNG-worthy source. I tend to think by virtue of the fact that we're still talking about him 70 years after he died that there's likely more out there... I was just waiting to see if anyone else comes up with more sources. MediaKyle (talk) 12:23, 9 March 2026 (UTC)

There does not appear to be WP:SIGCOV of nueva iberica as a music genre. Google Scholar has two hits for "nueva Iberica" + music, one is about chess and the other about sugarcane production. A regular google search gets hits on Wikiwand and the Wikipedia page List of electronic music genres where the term was added by User:Splendid entry who also created Nueva Iberica. I can't see other relevant hits. In addition the text appears to be AI-generated, has very few sources, and the third paragraph explicitly states that the term is not widely used (hence the article is WP:OR: Although the specific term "Nueva Iberica" is not widely used in the published literature, it is employed here descriptively to summarise musical practices that are independently documented in these and other journalistic sources.

- Keep This is inaccurate, the 2026 pitchfork source breaks down the genre as a rock microgenre that emerged from 4chan culture. They had mentioned the genre previously in 2020 as well. Then there is sources by the Canadian Anti Hate Network which specifically state that the style has not much connection to the incel subculture so it would make no sense to put it on that article when the only connection is the name. Would it make sense to move the citations calling films like Fight Club incelcore to that article?
- This subject is also notable per the sources from the Quietus and even the Guardian. You are being disingenuous to say the sources do not talk about the scene or music given three of them which were made by anti hate networks specifically discuss the history of the scene, its music and the virginfest event. The article is specifically about the term “incelcore” which encompasses forms of internet slang and a rock microgenre as per the Pitchfork source. A merger would make no sense. Aradicus77 (talk) 19:32, 13 March 2026 (UTC)
- Delete. As the nominator said, most of the sources in this article are about the larger topic. The opening sentence underscores the confusion by defining the subject as an "Internet microgenre of rock music and online subculture".

- Keep I think it's worth keeping because the idea that these sources only mention it in passing isn't really true. If you look at the Pitchfork and Canadian Anti-Hate Network refs, they aren't just talking about incels in general; they are specifically analyzing the music, the "Virginfest" event, and how the sound actually works. It's its own specific music scene (which is quite popular on TikTok) with its own history, and merging it into a page about a broad subculture would just make things more confusing, especially since the sources point out that incelcore music and the incel ideology aren't always the same thing. Plus, the term is clearly sticking around in culture if major papers like The Guardian are using it to describe other bands or movies. It meets the notability requirements because there's enough deep coverage here to show it's a real and documented phenomenon.

Article entirely reliant on primary non-independent PDFs from the Department of Transport, Network Rail and UIC (an industry body of which Network Rail is a member) with no primary, independent, reliable sources available online. All other mentions of it when searching Google are mirrors of this article, more non-independent PDFs from the DfT and Network Rail, two (as far as I could find, potentially more) user generated message threads (one of which ironically comes to the conclusion that Wikipedia is making this a thing out of nothing), and this one site from 2015 which very well may be largely sourcing this article. The UIC document trivially and fleetingly describes the UK system in a broader document on railway station categorisation and thus also does not meet WP:SIGCOV. Article thus clearly does not meet WP:GNG. Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 13:09, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Note: This discussion has been included in the deletion sorting lists for the following topics: Stations, Transportation, and United Kingdom. Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 13:09, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Strong keep for two reasons. Firstly, of course an article of this type is going to be primarily reliant on official documents, and so of course it will have the issue of using mainly reports and standard documents as its references. I don't understand what you're saying about Network Rail. The stations categorised are National Rail stations, which is an organisation to represent the TOCs; the buildings are owned by Network Rail but managed by the TOCs (or by Network Rail); the Department for Transport set the ratings (so what's the problem with a document of theirs explaining how they set ratings, as opposed to a secondary source obviously just quoting the document?).
- My second reason is that there is no clear article to merge into. Even if you think the article does not meet GNG for a standalone article, it surely should be included in the encyclopaedia? So where does the information go: National Rail, Network Rail, Department for Transport, Transport Scotland, Rail transport in Great Britain? So where is the information going to go, or are you suggesting just outright deleting it (which I think isn't productive at all). JacobTheRox(talk | contributions) 14:34, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, an article of this type will be reliant on primary non-independent sources. That is why it does not meet WP:GNG and should not be included.Regarding merging it elsewhere, this article does have a lot of flaws and the way it's written doesn't lend itself to merging directly into a larger article as a subsection. Ideally if merged it would be for the most part rewritten, but it would probably fit as a subsection under Rail transport in Great Britain#Stations, or with some refactoring for that section to include actual content that isn't a list, under #Industry bodies. Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 15:11, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Keep. A useful reference. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 14:40, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- WP:USEFUL: content being
A useful reference
doesn't justify it having its own article. The content can be merged into Rail transport in Great Britain if consensus resolves as such, as per my earlier reply. Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 15:13, 21 March 2026 (UTC)- WP:GNG doesn't apply to lists, which is basically what this is. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 15:15, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- This isn't a list, the most list-like part is when it's listing the 8 categories that exist in the first section with their descriptions, requisites and examples. That list is an MOS:EMBEDded list, as it merely supplements the article. The article largely contains article-length information about the categories themselves, their accessibility requirements, etc. The article would be a list if it listed all the stations by their category or similar.Regardless, notability guidelines do apply to list articles (per WP:NLIST). Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 15:23, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- Delete or merge the salvageable content if there's a suitable target. These categories exist purely for statistical purposes and have no public-facing function. I've never seen them discussed anywhere other than Wikipedia and Commons, where we're weirdly obsessed with them, even in the railway press. Compare and contrast, for example, grades of listed buildings, where the relevant government bodies publish detailed criteria and guidance documents, which are frequently commented on by third parties. Note that we already have a category tree under Category:Railway stations by Department for Transport category, which is probably the best way to convey this information. And to address the comment about list criteria: this is not a list. It includes a list of examples, but a comprehensive list would duplicate the lists at UK railway stations. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 15:23, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- How is a list of categories not a list? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 15:27, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- The article also contains large amounts of encyclopedic information, and the list only complements the article content. The list in United Kingdom railway station categories#Categories is not a stand-alone list (also known as a "list article"), but instead what is known as an embedded list, which is a different concept of which much different standards apply. Besides, as per my earlier reply to you,
notability guidelines do apply to list articles (per WP:NLIST).
Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 15:30, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- The article also contains large amounts of encyclopedic information, and the list only complements the article content. The list in United Kingdom railway station categories#Categories is not a stand-alone list (also known as a "list article"), but instead what is known as an embedded list, which is a different concept of which much different standards apply. Besides, as per my earlier reply to you,
- How is a list of categories not a list? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 15:27, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Note to closer: A reminder that if consensus is that it should be merged (instead of deleted outright) into another article then the article should not be deleted to preserve the article history (for CC BY-SA attribution) and should instead be redirected to whatever section. Respectfully dissenting, Coleisforeditor (talk) 15:37, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- at least change the name. This list only applies to Great Britain. Network Rail (and Great British Rail obviously) only operate in GB, The rail network in Northern Ireland is managed independently. --𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 15:59, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Keep This is effectively a list and I believe it passes WP:NLIST. As pointed out above, though, it should be renamed to List of Network Rail station categories or something similar. Black Kite (talk) 20:12, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- I don't see that name as accurate, as the categorisation is done by the Department for Transport and Transport Scotland for stations on the National Rail network, some of which are owned/managed by Network Rail. I simply suggest "Railway station categorisation in Great Britain" or "Great Britain railway station categories". JacobTheRox(talk | contributions) 20:49, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Non-notable game. The article is constructed from WP:USERG sources like MobyGames and GameFAQs. The Metacritic page is empty. There's two situatonal review sources I can see: JayIsGames and Gamezebo: see WP:VG/S for why these aren't strong for notability. Just not enough here sadly. VRXCES (talk) 10:13, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- Keep While sources are limited, Floating Kingdom article meets notability under WP:GNG through independent coverage. The game has received reviews from third-party, independent such as JayIsGames and Gamezebo, which provide substantive discussion of its gameplay, strengths, and weaknesses, not trivial mentions. These are independent of the developer and publisher, and thus qualify as reliable sources for reception under WP:VG/S if it used appropriately. Also the lack of a populated Metacritic page doesn't negate notability, as Metacritic is not a requirement for video game articles. Many casual and niche titles, especially from the late 2000s of downloadable PC games, were not widely aggregated but still received coverage from established gaming websites. The article can be improved by expanding reception and adding more context, but WP:BEFORE suggests that deletion is "premature" if sources do exist but have not yet been fully "utilized" and. Given that at least two independent reviews provide non-trivial coverage, the topic demonstrates potential for expansion rather than deletion And about weaker sources such as MobyGames and GameFAQs, these can be removed or replaced, as they are not essential to establishing notability, we can improve this per WP:BEFORE. Lychneii (talk) 17:31, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- With respect, this is some way off from being sound analysis. WP:GNG requires independent coverage from WP:RS. WP:VG/S clearly states both review sources are situational and that Jay Is Games does not contribute to notability. Mentioning that the other sources are WP:USERG databases is evidence there's nothing in existing sourcing that contributes to notability. WP:BEFORE is not a relevant policy to cite when no WP:RS have been identified to contribute to WP:GNG. VRXCES (talk) 20:35, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

There are many issues with this page, the most obvious of which is that it's entirely AI slop. The original form of the article was intended to promote an AI website called aeronauticsmagazine.com, but that has since been removed. The user contesting the PROD asserted that this is a WP:SIA, but I don't see how it meets any of the criteria to exist as one: it isn't navigationally useful as none of the entries are bluelinked, there's no evidence that the topic of "magazines called Aeronautics" is notable, and the third criterion ("Short, complete list") states Lists in which no entry is notable are rarely appropriate.
Even if the topic is notable and encyclopedic, WP:TNT applies, as there are no inline citations, making it unreasonably difficult to determine where the AI has hallucinated. lp0 on fire () 09:26, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- Keep. In addition to the media coverage already cited in the article, the family, together with its business operations, has been covered as a group (i.e. not just mentioned in articles focusing on individual members) by academic sources including this report from Japan's Institute of Developing Economies, four pages in the book South Asian Migration (2015) published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing, and to a lesser extent, a paragraph in Big in Asia (2002), published by Palgrave Macmillan. The family is also the subject of a 1995 article in the Far Eastern Economic Review (Proquest abstract link). These should be enough to satisfy the GNG. --Paul_012 (talk) 16:18, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

- I would also like to ask Svartner and Iljhgtn specifically how they think the article as it stands is promotional. For what it's worth, I'd point out that I created the article as an overview to explain the structure of the family's ownership of Indorama Corporation and Indorama Ventures, as the information isn't a good fit in either of the company articles. Also, neither company is a subsidiary of the other, so redirecting Indorama to either one of them is NOT appropriate. --Paul_012 (talk) 16:18, 11 March 2026 (UTC)

- Redirect(?) I am a bit confused on what is happening here; I don’t think anybody would have complained if you redirected the article. Something happened on Habibullah Khan, not sure what, a weird hijacking if I’ve ever seen one. Pinging @DuncanHill:, who was involved. 1brianm7 (talk) 08:01, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- I believe I had messed up, considering the fact that I did not know on how creating pages would work, as well as their consequences.
- So, here's my approach:
- 1) Delete Habibullah Khan II
- 2) Move Habibullah Khan to Habibullah Khan II
- 3) Paste content of Habibullah Khan from old revisions onto the empty Habibullah Khan page AfghanTsakhtan (talk) 19:24, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Oppose I'll explain.
- It appears they're trying to change the article to another Afghan "Habibullah Khan" that was ruler of Kabul in the 1820s, versus this Habibullah Khan, who was ruler of Afghanistan in the 1900s.
- A bit confused on this AFD. @AfghanTsakhtan You should just make another page for the 1820s Habibullah Khan, as the current Habibullah Khan page is dedicated toward the Afghan monarch of the 1900s. Perhaps you could name it "Sardar Habibullah Khan", instead of changing the topic (and trying to delete this). Noorullah (talk) 19:15, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- I listed my solution above, it may work. Habibullah Khan will be an empty page, and content can be posted onto there… whereas the old Habibullah Khan can be moved to Habibullah Khan II, and its revisions will remain there too. AfghanTsakhtan (talk) 19:25, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

Comment: There does seem to have been a there there, to the point where they applied for incorporation in 1938 with about 500 residents. So while it doesn't seen to meet WP:GEOLAND as never formally designated, it's probably worth a redirect somewhere (or a "merge" albeit with all-new cited prose). Articles in 1948 and 1963 described it as part of Howell, which appears to be a neighborhood of Evansville. A 1982 article indicated it as an Evansville neighborhood, as did a 1987 column and its follow-up (which also indicated it was known as Pleasant Village). It does appear to be within Evansville city limits. Evansville, Indiana#Neighborhoods would seem like the obvious redirect/merge target, but it's currently just a single sentence about NRHP-listed districts and doesn't actually discuss neighborhoods. I believe this is a hoax article. I can't find any evidence that this existed. For example, I'd expect to see it mentioned in this case study about the PAOK club (pages 192-194), and it's not. It was created in 2006 by an editor who was banned in 2009 for reasons including making a mix of real articles and hoax articles - see Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/IncidentArchive588#MetroStar - with no substantial contributions by other editors (just copyedits and other minor edits).
I proposed this article for deletion, and User:ApexParagon seconded with the following rationale: "Note that one editor attempted to provide references to the article today (March 19) in good faith, but the references were not actually related to this subject. The added references mentioned 'Thessaloniki forums', but they were very clearly not referring to the alleged sports arena this article is about, and instead were talking about literal public speaking forums. I have attempted to find references for this myself, and I could not find any evidence that this sports arena actually existed."

I'll rip this bandaid off since this is off the main page. With all due respect to Baby Globe, I think this page in it's current state is very much borderline and imo does not meet WP:NCORP in it's current form.
Most of the references provided do not pass muster of the high bar of third-party, significant coverage. To give examples, the KSLTV, the Shacknews, the Creative Bloq, VICE and The Guardain Nigeria News only mention the company in passing after talking at length about the occassion/backstory of the collaborator for whom the plushie is being made. These should not be considered significant coverage of the company. Similaly, InnovateON.ca article appears to be a poster boy of WP:CHURNALISM, and the Techcouver article is a interview.
For what it's worth, I could be convinced that The Toy Book and Vancouver is Awesome are reliable third-party coverage, however, you could also make a argument that the The Toy Book article is a dressed up press release about another product launch (something that is explicitly discouraged by WP:ORGTRIV). I'm also not sure how independent/reliable Vancouver is Awesome is as a source.
These concerns alongside the parallel discussion on the talk page about the page's notability has led me to nominate this page for deletion. Sohom (talk) 01:39, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

- Comment In addition to the sources included in the article, I was able to find the following with a quick Google search: / (two different sources reporting on Makeship receiving an industry award for new businesses), // (same article on the company syndicated in three local BC newspapers), , / (two other articles discussing Makeship and other local businesses from Techcouver), (mention in a book on the indie game industry). One of the founders was also included in Forbes' 2023 30 under 30 for his co-founding of Makeship. I would urge those participating in this discussion to keep in mind that notability is determined by the existence of sources on a topic, not by the current state of the article and its references. Ethmostigmus 🌿 (talk | contribs) 08:42, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Delete: Not seeing anything that meets the strict standards of NCORP. Vancouver is Awesome just regurgitates what the founder and a paid influencer have to say about the company, along with this source. The Toy Book is just reporting a company announcement. The Vancouver Tech Journal article is paywalled, but unless someone is able to access it, I presume per WP:TRADES that it is unlikely to count as independent coverage. Even if it is independent, it would still only be a single source. Other sources are clearly WP:CORPTRIV or non-independent. Helpful Raccoon (talk) 09:27, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Delete: As per Helpful Raccoon. Sources are mostly trade journals, reporting what amounts to press releases or making passing comments. This is an old, effectively unreferenced article (there are just two ELs to game description on fansites). The game has dubious WP:GNG, but ironically, a recent article about it in a Polish game portal I consider reliable and that does help a bit with GNG also explicitly notes our (Wikipedia) article has quite a few errors. Adding to this poor style ("An interesting aspect of...", etc.), I think this warrants a[ WP:TNT approach, with the article, if deemed notable, to be recreated one day from reliable sources. Non-notable under-construction temple. Lack of WP:SIGCOV, sources are either promotional articles about the construction company or related to a visit by the Indian Prime Minister. - Keep – I totally disagree with the nominator. The rationale provided does not accurately reflect the available sources and appears to overlook the nature of the coverage about this project.
First, the argument that this is a "non-notable under-construction temple" is not convincing. Construction status itself is not a valid criteria for deletion.
Second, the claim of "lack of WP:SIGCOV" does not seem valid with the available references.
Third, the suggestion that "the sources arepromotional" is also questionable. Independent reporting that discusses the engineering aspects, scale, and construction of a project cannot simply be dismissed as promotional without clear justification.
Fourth, the claim that the coverage is "only related to the Prime Minister's visit" is misleading. When the Prime Minister of India participates in a foundation-stone ceremony media coverage mainly discusses the project itself.
It appears that the nominator User:Zuck28, is repeatedly raising concerns about the article without fully addressing the topic and sources already cited.🌟 𝒯𝐻𝐸 𝐵𝒪𝒮𝒮! 04:23, 14 March 2026 (UTC)

Looking at every source currently present in Special:Permalink/1343352669 (excluding the dozen links to YouTube and X/Twitter), most of the references appear to mention al-Bakr briefly at best but usually not at all, instead centering on Madid Ahl al-Sham (45681519) or other associated topics (1216). Notability is not inherited—while this article appears to demonstrate significant coverage of al-Bakr at first, a closer look shows that much of the content and sourcing is actually in fact about other, only tangentially related, topics. Of the remaining sources, several are from non-independent advocacy organizations Amnesty International (2528) and ANHRI (2427). 26 might be the only source present in this article that could meet WP:42. There's also 3, but that only has about a paragraph of stuff relating to al-Bakr. That’s 1.5 out of WP:THREE, which is not great, especially for a (potential?) WP:BLP in a controversial subject area. My own external search for WP:NEXIST did not yield anything much (though it was probably not as thorough as my analysis above, and there were many false positives—if additional sources are found or my !vote rationale may otherwise be flawed in any way, please ping me!). As far as WP:ATDs go, I don't believe significant merging is needed—most of the things that could potentially be merged from here have been adequately covered already in the relevant articles. I've made some sub-headings and I think a redirect to Madid Ahl al-Sham § Muhammad Isa al-Bakr could work nicely. GoldRomean (talk) 07:14, 21 March 2026 (UTC)

WP:BLP of a journalist, not properly referenced as passing inclusion criteria for journalists. As always, journalists are not automatically entitled to Wikipedia articles just because they exist, and must be shown to pass WP:GNG on substantive coverage and analysis about them and their work -- that is, a journalist's notability is not established by sources in which he's the author of coverage about other things, and requires sources in which he's the subject of content written and published by other people.
But three of the four footnotes here are his staff profiles on the self-published websites of his own employers, which are not support for notability as they aren't independent third-party analysis, and the one source that actually represents a media outlet doing journalism about him still comes from one of said employers, and thus still isn't independent enough to carry a GNG pass all by itself as the article's only non-primary source.
And while the Charles Lynch Award would be a valid notability claim in an article that was properly sourced, even it isn't highly meganotable enough to bestow an instant notability pass onto a badly-sourced article -- and even the award's article is citing a bad source for his victory as well, so it can't just be pulled over to magically fix the sourcing problems here.
Obviously no prejudice against recreation in the future if somebody can write and source an article about him properly, but nothing here is "inherently" notable enough to exempt him from needing better sourcing than this. Bearcat (talk) 20:57, 13 March 2026 (UTC)

- The number of times a name does or doesn't appear online in a Google search isn't a notability criterion per se — especially when it comes to journalists, the number of Google hits the person gets doesn't immediately distinguish between primary sources that aren't support for notability (staff profiles, his own bylined work, glancing namechecks of his existence in articles that aren't about him, etc.) and actual notability-building coverage and analysis about the impact of his work. We have to evaluate the type of sources that are or aren't available, not just the number of Google hits that he gets. Bearcat (talk) 17:28, 16 March 2026 (UTC)

- Keep - Speed Vegas seems to be notable as a business, receiving national news coverage that takes for granted its notability, and Las Vegas is now a large enough region that even local coverage there has regional significance. However, the page has numerous problems in terms of its promotional tone. If it is not to be kept, which MelbourneIdentity makes a good case for, I would migrate to Draftspace to allow for continued improvement. PickleG13 (talk) 03:29, 20 February 2026 (UTC)
KeepDelete (updating my !vote to Delete since I now agree with agree user:HighKing that upon further review the sources really do lack necessary depth) with User:PickleG13 that the article has WP:PROMO issues, but WP:AFDISNOTCLEANUP. Iljhgtn (they/them · talk) 05:44, 23 February 2026 (UTC)Delete The sourcing fails WP:SIRS, as the local news coverage is mostly promotional or WP:ROUTINE. There is only one national source (WSJ) which discusses the company with any depth, and that is also routine. The other references are either passing mentions or promotional in nature. The fact that the article has PROMO issues isn't relevant to the deletion discussion. MightyRanger (talk) 23:58, 26 February 2026 (UTC) -Blocked sock. SatnaamIN (talk) 00:18, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- Keep: agree that it has promo issues, but coverage in established local outlets provides non-trivial independent coverage sufficient to satisfy WP:GNG. SanneMonte (talk) 17:58, 27 February 2026 (UTC)
- Keep credible coverage about the facility and the business at a level that meets notability, even if some editing and pruning would help. Alansohn (talk) 22:15, 28 February 2026 (UTC)
- Delete Note that using reasoning based on "coverage" is *not* a reason to !vote Keep. This is an organisation therefore GNG/WP:NCORP requires at least two deep or significant sources with each source containing "Independent Content" showing in-depth information *on the company*. "Independent content", in order to count towards establishing notability, must include original and independent opinion, analysis, investigation, and fact checking that are clearly attributable to a source unaffiliated to the subject. So can either of PickleG13, Iljhgtn, SanneMonte or Alansohn go a little further and provide a link to sourcing and point out which section/paragraph within that source contains in-depth independent content? I'm unable to locate any but I'm willing to take another look if other sources show up. HighKing++ 19:13, 4 March 2026 (UTC)
*keep besides WSJ, several articles talk indepth about the company. For example KTLA is a major LA TV network, so I don't see how it could be a PR or promotional. Then we have Las Vega Magazine, Las Vegas Review Journal, 8news now another TV station, and Motor Trend a major Automotive publication you can buy on the newsstands.Alabamanian (talk) 22:00, 5 March 2026 (UTC) Blocked sock. SatnaamIN (talk) 00:22, 21 March 2026 (UTC)
- It isn't just the amount of references, the audience size and whether the information is independent also matter when determining if a company meets NCORP. Local news sources that talk to companies are often not totally independent or a sign of real notability. @HighKing: was trying to explain that the quality and nature of the sources really matters for something like this. MelbourneIdentity (talk)
- Also, saying a source has indepth information without going on to analyse whether the information meets ORGIND's requirements for *independent content* is akin to including Press Releases (or regurgitated Press Releases) as content because they are also full of indepth content. Thankfully our NCORP guidelines have more robust guidelines in place. A full analysis of the sources show that one is a barely disguised ad full of announcements and forward looking statements and a quote, another is almost entirely based on an interview with someone who served as CEO, and his wife who is director of communications, another is a barely-disguised ad in a local news outlet which again relies entirely on the CEO's comments and information, and the last an interview with the founder. None meet NCORP criteria. HighKing++ 15:15, 10 March 2026 (UTC)

Las Vegas Magazine looks like an ad,SpeedVegas has changed things up considerably, promising an even more memorable experience the second time around

WP:MEMORIAL article that fails WP:NBLP. Non-notable ordinary soldier whose only coverage in sources is a couple obituaries after his death and brief passing mentions in routine announcements before his death. Most of the coverage of his death was from the IDF website, not even from news outlets. Renominating after two years as the last discussion produced no consensus and had poorly substantiated !votes. - Delete - I checked all the sources in the English and Hebrew articles. Most of them are passing mentions. One or two of them cover his death and life before in a couple paragraphs. I got similar results when searching his name in Hebrew and auto-translating some of the top results. I don't think this passes WP:BIO1E. InfernoHues (talk) 13:14, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Redirect to Golani Brigade#Gaza_war. The only piece with sigcov is about his death. Kelob2678 (talk) 16:37, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
- Weak keep or redirect – as a senior IDF officer killed in the Gaza war, the subject has received some independent coverage; however, this appears largely tied to the incident itself rather than in-depth biographical coverage, making standalone notability under WP:GNG borderline. A redirect to the relevant article on the Gaza war or a list of casualties may be more appropriate if broader coverage cannot be demonstrated. JournalJane (talk) 18:32, 20 March 2026 (UTC)
