On the surface, Andy Berman seems notable. He's acted, voice-acted, directed, and written. But the coverage just isn't there, and most of his roles are less than they seem at first glance.

His most prominent role by far is voicing Dib on Invader Zim. Chuck Coleman is not mentioned at all anywhere on List of The Wonder Years episodes, and Dennis only once on List of The Jamie Foxx Show episodes, which would suggest neither was a particularly plot-relevant character. Most of the other roles are unnamed characters like "student" or "person in oncology", characters who only showed up in one episode, or reprisals of the Dib role.

On Psych, he is listed as one of no fewer than six producers (IMDb lists even more), with none of the others having Wikipedia articles. While he has writing and directing credits on the show, he is again but one of several writers and directors (directing four episodes out of 121 is not a lot), many of whom also do not have articles. His only other writing credits are one episode of Rocket Power and three of Freddie, and he has no other directorial or production credits, so it seems he is not widely known in non-acting capacities.

Let's look at the sources already present:

1. Behind the Voice Actors. Per WP:BTVA, There is consensus that Behind the Voice Actors is generally reliable for roles credits. Editors agree that its coverage is routine and does not contribute to notability. (Emphasis added.)
2. Hollywood.com. The link has been broken for several years, but according to archive.org, it was a routine directory listing akin to BTVA or IMDb.
3. Arlington Heights Daily Herald: I was able to access this source on Newspaper Archive. It is purely about Lauren Rawitz, who is apparently Berman's mother. However, this source does not mention Andy Berman at all and it is therefore both WP:OR and WP:COATRACK.
4. Inside Pulse: Its only mention of Berman is Andy Berman, whose credits include Psych and Rosewood, joins the series as showrunner and exec producer while series creator and season one showrunner Garry Campbell returns as an exec producer and writer. Clearly not WP:SIGCOV.
5. CBR: This is about the Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus trailer and only confirms that he is reprising the role of Dib.
6. Hot New Hip Hop: A "Where are they now?" article on the cast of The Jamie Foxx Show. As Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nick Spano proved, merely being the subject of a "where are they now" article is not SIGCOV on its own.

So far, no source in the article has proven itself to be reliable, independent coverage of Andy Berman. So what did I find in my WP:BEFORE this time around?

The article has also barely been touched in the past decade-plus, outside a handful of maintenance/bot edits. It's had {{notability}} since 2016, and {{BLP sources}} since 2012. That is pretty damning.

Despite the number and variety of his roles, there seems to be no significant coverage of him whatsoever. Most sources on Psych only passingly mention him as one of the many writers on the show, suggesting his producer role was not significant. The characters he played in The Wonder Years or The Jamie Foxx Show similarly garnered very scant mentions at best, and even coverage on Invader Zim gave no more information than the fact that he voiced Dib. (Given the cult classic status of Invader Zim, this surprises me.)

One can meet WP:NACTOR yet still fail WP:GNG. He's listed in a lot of directories, and name-dropped in several articles on shows he worked on, but directory listings and name-drops are not significant coverage. The aforementioned Nick Spano was deleted despite hosting a game show and playing a plot-relevant character on Even Stevens, and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rossi Morreale closed as "delete" despite him being the host of both a two-season singing competition and a 170-episode game show. Thom Huge voiced Jon Arbuckle for decades, but was redirected. Why? Because every single one failed the SIGCOV test. And unless I really screwed something up, it seems Berman fails that test too. He seems to fall into this weird dead zone where simultaneously has a bit too much in his filmography for a redirect to Invader Zim to be due weight, but too little to warrant actually having an article.

tl;dr: He's done a lot, but none of it seems to have gotten him the WP:SIGCOV relevant for him to meet WP:GNG. If by chance someone finds sources that I missed, they are more than welcome to WP:PROVEIT. Ten Pound Hammer • ^{(What did I screw up now?)} 16:44, 17 February 2026 (UTC)
