Folks, please read all of the sources you are using so you don't get something like this one, in which the 1888 history says that this "town" was platted but amounted to nothing before someone had a 4th class post office in the vicinity. The 1921 history states that Marcellus "never developed beyond the paper stage" and doesn't mention Farmington at all. Mangoe (talk) 20:00, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
