The result was delete. Still copyvio, so I did a WP:G12. No prejudice against creating a redirect. asilvering (talk) 06:28, 15 February 2025 (UTC)

This doesn't appear to be an independently notable organization. Maybe merge into ASU? mikeblas (talk) 14:20, 31 January 2025 (UTC)

- Delete it's a straight copyvio for which I'm about to do some revision deletion should it be merged somewhere. An independent article could be written as sourcing exists, but this isn't it and probably easiest to start over. Star Mississippi 15:01, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- Rev del is done, but we could go even further back to be honest. It's no longer a G11 or at least less of one now. I won't be able to work on it in the AfD window but may do so in the future either as a standalone or part of the ASU article. Star Mississippi 15:10, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
- Redirect to Fashion_Institute_of_Design_&_Merchandising#FIDM_Museum where there is sufficient explanation of it (don't really see any information in this one that needs to be merged there. so revdel doesn't matter to the redir). Schazjmd (talk) 15:42, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Relisting. It looks like the copyright violation that prompted the Delete vote has been addressed. There are now also suggestions or a Merge or Redirect but to two different target articles that might need some additional consideration.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Liz Read! Talk! 17:43, 7 February 2025 (UTC)- Delete the 2nd half of the article sounds like WP:PROMO ロドリゲス恭子 (talk) 02:30, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for your thoughtful review of the page. However, we do not want the page deleted, and it is indeed its own notable organization, but there has been some confusion since it changed names last year. We went in and made several edits in January to account for the name change and new affiliation with ASU, however, all those edits were reverted which is unfortunate since we a spent a lot of time on that. While the ASU FIDM Museum is certainly tied to ASU FIDM and ASU, it is its own notable location with its own staff and its own programming and given its prominence as Los Angeles’s ONLY fashion museum, this page needs to remain in existence with the changes we are making. - Hi! Unfortunately you have a fundamental misunderstanding of Wikipedia and how it works. Articles are not at all related to what an organizations wants to say about itself and instead focus on what independent reliable sources say about it. The information you added was a copyright violation and will not be restored. If you continue in that vein @Hidaweb you will lose access to edit. Star Mississippi 21:07, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
