According to this Georgetown was one of a bunch of prospective towns that popped up in the canal craze and promptly fizzled with it. There's certainly nothing there now. Mangoe (talk) 19:55, 11 November 2024 (UTC)

- Delete per above. Based on Google Maps, does not even seem like a town, seems like a few homes. There are several Georgetown in Indiana which complicates searching for information. starship.paint (talk / cont) 12:45, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
