Article is only referenced to two permanently dead links to non-independent sources. However, on its face, it does not speak to any encyclopedic notability. Subject is a deputy assistant secretary who did some policy work. Not unimportant, but not encyclopedia material. A search for the subject yields only a few other passing mentions (see here and here), but not enough to support an article. BD2412 T 20:09, 18 November 2022 (UTC)

- Delete Nothing notable to be found. The offices he held do not make him notable. Chagropango (talk) 10:13, 19 November 2022 (UTC)
- Delete per above, especially WP:BLP and WP:MILL, and additional reasons. First off, due to the lack of public information, this implicates BLP rules. There's not enough in this stub to give anything more than false light. Since there are about 20 such positions of United States Assistant Secretary of Defense, and none have unilateral authority to make regulations, they are not rule-making positions, thus also failing WP:POLOUTCOMES. We have since 2007 deleted many more important people's BLPs, not all of which I agreed, but now it's the consensus. What's good for the school superintendent is good for the deputy assistant secretary. Bearian (talk) 16:01, 23 November 2022 (UTC)
