The subject seems like a nice woman but I see no evidence this local grocer from Reedsburg, Wisconsin, passes WP:GNG or WP:NBIO. The sources are:
- Non-independent sources (her company's webpage, her LinkedIn, a Facebook post by an organization she is a member of)
- Coverage in WP:TRADES publications and press releases, which is considered non-independent (, , , , )
- Trivial mentions (her yearbook, brief local news coverage of her grocery store , , , )
- One single source of WP:SIGCOV in her local newspaper: . Some other coverage in the same paper that I can't view due to the paywall (, ), but per GNG,
Multiple publications from the same author or organization are usually regarded as a single source for the purposes of establishing notability
and thus these cannot count for more than one source.
"Woman Grocer of the Year" is not a significant award per WP:ANYBIO, so I see no further path to notability. The page creator appears to have used every source that mentions Coy since I can find nothing else in my BEFORE search. Dclemens1971 (talk) 16:48, 7 January 2026 (UTC)
