This article was redirected following an AFD 6 months ago. It was restored with some changes. According to Justiyaya: "PSM 2 Issue 07 seems to give sufficient coverage on its creative process as well as the IGN article with coverage of their mocap work". But going by WP:NCORP, creative coverage is generally not sufficient. Further, the crediting appears to be WP:Original research? IgelRM (talk) 03:33, 27 August 2026 (UTC)

• Comment @IgelRM: Thanks for the rereview! Could you point me to the line where creative coverage is generally not sufficient? I was skimming through the guideline and searching for it and could not find it. Some of the listing in the "List of software developed" / credits(?) section is referenced in the body of the article () but others seem to not be supported by references from a cursory glance.   Appreciate the friendly response. I will start with the second point, the IGN source says "World Tour Soccer 2002, originated in the UK by Studio Soho". From the game credits, it appears This Is Football was the first game that used the name in the credits. The IGN sources for the prior games don't mention the name, so I don't know what the intention for referencing those was. So it looks like we are agreeing on the original research part here?

  On the first point, I wrote this quickly and rather paraphrasing how I think about NCORP. Sorry if you were searching for these words specifically, I should word things better in the future. I argue the PSM feature on the Gataway and the IGN description of motion capture (I guess for example "Team Soho is one of the first, if not the first, organizations to use a new magnetic motion-capture system for this purpose." from the preview) are at most previews of an upcoming developer team and not significant coverage for an organization. • Restore redirect I believe what IgelRM meant is that notability is not inherited from coverage of a specific game they did, in this case, The Getaway. A company must pass WP:CORPDEPTH and it doesn't seem that this one does. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 05:35, 27 August 2026 (UTC)

  By that logic, "Random SpamCorp #556266" could just say "pretty please leave this article, it's not hurting anyone even if it's not notable, kthx".

  Even if Team Soho is more well-regarded, they ultimately have to be judged by the same rules so there is no double standard. Because then you start to get into the nitty-gritty of "okay, when is a company's product 'important' enough to make an exception"? Anyone could craft an argument like that, even for a self-operating napkin. We have to go by the sources and their existence or lack thereof. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 04:47, 29 August 2026 (UTC)

• Comment, trying to think about this from the perspective of our readers (admittedly an odd thing to do), the redirect to Sony Interactive Entertainment is thoroughly unhelpful. That article has one, tiny-tiny mention of Team Soho buried in a table of mopped-up game studios. The reader experience is "I wanted to know about Team Soho, and instead I've been sent to a huge article about Sony?? Did I mistype 'Soho' or what? Has Wikipedia's search function gone wrong?" A redirect to London Studio would be far more useful, and if there is anything to be said about Team Soho it would fit much better into London Studio than Sony.
