- Nominator's rationale: As stated by the lead on category page: "China classifies their government activities into projects." So does every other country and no other category for any country exists of this type. This is an OR category and all articles are better covered by existing categories. - Delete as unnecessary. The category's creator also created Category:Legendary footprints an hour and twenty minutes later on the same day. Individuals may be defined as e.g. Politicians of Italian descent or Politicians of Japanese descent rather than European, except for perceived race, and such individual national descent categories may be found directly in Category:Politicians by descent. - If Category:Black French politicians is considered a distinct intersection per WP:ETHNICRACECAT, then this specific identity can be placed at Category:Politicians by descent. Black is not synonymous with of African descent. Black French people often trace their background to the French West Indies, New Caledonia, or the Indian sub-continent, so African descent isn't really the topic here, except if it is used as a proxy for race, which is rightfully forbidden in categories. - If Category:Black French politicians is considered a distinct intersection per WP:ETHNICRACECAT, then this specific identity can be placed at Category:Politicians by descent. Black is not synonymous with of African descent. Black French people often trace their background to the French West Indies, New Caledonia, or the Indian sub-continent, so African descent isn't really the topic here, except if it is used as a proxy for race, which is rightfully forbidden in categories. - I agree to merge this expanded set of categories, but they should also be purged of individual articles. Under the same logic, previous discussions decided to containerize categories of descent by continent: WP:Categories for discussion/Log/2018 December 1#Category:American people of African descent, WP:Categories for discussion/Log/2019 February 5#People of African descent.
