Nominator's rationale: This feels very non-defining/notable nor something that could be categorized by its name alone. When I came across it, both fictional media and real world locations were included.   • Delete a characteristic of an item in a building is not defining to the building. If we had articles on actual elevators here it would be different. What next Category:Revolving doors and place every building with revolving dors (or that once had a revolving door since categories always apply) in it?   • Delete per above, seems arbitrary how these articles are added to this category anyways. For example, the Mall of America was added to this category, which the MOA does indeed have glass elevators, but there are no images or any mention of glass elevators in the article. Nominator's rationale: Searching for "refuse-eating animals" or "refuse-eating" doesn't indicate that such term ever exists. The linked parent article is at Scavenger#Scavengers that feed on discarded food, so "discarded food scavengers" looks palatable assuming this category should exist.   • Oppose: Thanks for your query, Brandmeister. In dictionary definitions of the word "scavenger" (e.g. here and here) and in the lede of the Scavenger article, the term "refuse" is used. The phrase "refuse eaters" is also used in some journal articles (e.g. here). I think the term "refuse" is preferable to the phrase "discarded food" because it is concise and precise. The phrase "discarded food" is ambiguous because it could refer to partially eaten prey that has been discarded by predators. Ruslan Firdaus (talk) 00:55, 21 February 2026 (UTC)

Nominator's rationale: This is a common category tree, a bilateral relations category containing no articles and only a single sub-cat, usually X expatriates in Y or X people of Y descent. I'm not convinced of the usefulness of this, it means a reader has to click through multiple categories to get to an article. I'm also not convinced that biographies of expatriates or people of X descent in Y belong in bilateral relations category trees. It seems that Category:British expatriates in the Federated States of Micronesia, the only subcat in this category, is already appropriately categorised in Category:British expatriates and Category:Expatriates in the Federated States of Micronesia. Belgian harmonica players only has 6 articles so sub-dividing is not needed. Even if we were to be able to fully restrict these categories to peiple who sang large numbers of different songs in the language or some similar set of restrictions we would still be including people who did not actually know the language.
