Nominator's rationale: "films by studio" category for a company that isn't a film studio. I went through all 124 of the articles in this category, and TSG Entertainment is mentioned in only 7 of them (28 Years Later, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, The Birth of a Nation (2016 film), Deadpool & Wolverine, A Good Day to Die Hard, Jojo Rabbit, Terminator: Dark Fate). Per WP:CATV, It should be clear from verifiable information in the article why it was placed in each of its categories. In other words, categories do not exist to introduce new information, but to group articles based on the information they already contain, in order to make navigation between them easier. The contents of this category are also already listified right here in the main article for any reader interested in the topic.
Until twelve days ago, this category was categorized under Category:American films by studio, despite it not being a studio. This category is currently categorized under: Category:20th Century Fox films, Category:20th Century Studios films, Category:Columbia Pictures films, Category:Fox Searchlight Pictures films and Category:Searchlight Pictures films, despite TSG Entertainment not being under the heading of any of those companies. It is a film financing firm that invests money into movies produced and distributed by studios, in exchange for a share of the profits. It does not own, run, or function as one of those studios. TSG Entertainment receives a secondary "in association with" credit rather than a primary studio credit. It is financial partner, not a subsidiary or division of those studios, and as far as I am aware we do not categorize films by the various business partners it may have had. Similarly, we also do not categorize films by their executive producer, co-producer, associate producer, line producer etc. That is a non-defining characteristic, as evidenced by reliable sources, the majority of which do not consistently define the films categorized here as being TSG Entertainment films in their prose covering each. For example, for what is likely the biggest film the company was ever involved in, Avatar: The Way of Water, all I could find were 2 articles mentioning TSG Entertainment. And that is a film which received an enormous level of mainstream coverage. The rest that mention TSG with Avatar 2 are about the company itself and its later lawsuit against Disney. Nominator's rationale: Overly narrow and generally clueless and misleading. It seems this was created by analogy with Category:Special Landing Forces of the Imperial Japanese Navy without much thought. "Special Naval Landing Forces" is used formally for multiple historical units in the Imperial Japanese Navy. No such term was used by the Imperial Brazilian Navy's administration or historians on the subject. Nor is it, to my knowledge, a term of art for marine units in general, and even if it were, it would have to be written in sentence case, not title case. Title case implies a formal name. But even renaming this into a more proper term, such as "Marines of the Imperial Brazilian Navy", still leaves us with a single-page category or actually a half-page category, as that page covers a much broader subject than just the Imperial Brazilian Navy's marine component. Keep, it doesn't matter whether or not it is mentioned in their biographies; many of the biographies are not in great condition. As TheUzbek mentions, this body was a (pretty important) official decision-maker for Yugoslavia. Sahib-e-Qiran, EasternShah 00:48, 24 February 2026 (UTC)
